This run was G.L.O.W.‘s inaugural in Orange.(Not to be confused with the multi-colored GLOW Run 5k, this run – although just as colorful and vibrant! – promotes«Global Girls Leading Our World.») What’s super important about this run is that it raises funds and awareness for school mentorship and tutoring for young girls living in vulnerable communities throughout the world. G.L.O.W. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) event, and this race in particular commenced at the beautiful Irvine Regional Park. With both 5K and 10K options, running with G.L.O.W. is a great way to begin your morning! The expo was a lot of fun, there were many, many, many smiling faces, and plenty of families turned out in support. Although the run itself was great, watching the littlest ones running and crossing the finish line during their 1-mile kids run was better! You couldn’t help but to applaud each and every one of them.
