Herstyler

This place is a JOKE. They try to lure you in with aggressive techniques but DON’T BE FOOLED. I bought a Herstyler on Amazon for $ 30 and love it. I have had no issues with it at all and have used it continuously for about 2 years. Not sure where/​who these people get their stuff from, but I can assure you it is not the same… when I told the idiot I already owned the Herstyler he tried to sell me on a mediocre 10 piece hair extension clip in set… for $ 550. BWAHHHHAAAHHHHAAAAHHAA! As I walked away, he then said «since it is the end of the day and I won’t make any commission anyways, I will sell this to you for 179.99.» Again, BWWAHHHAHAHAHAAHHHAAAA! This place is so shady-​if you are going out, have them do your hair for free and make them think you are interested in purchasing. After they have curled your entire head, simply get up and walk away without saying a word. Make them waste their own time!!!

This place is terrible, and I wish I would have checked first. I wanted the wand curler and thought I would just go get it. I walked up and the lady working wanted to sit me down and try it on me and their whole stint, but I told her I already knew what I wanted. They charged my credit card and I signed, they said it wasn’t working, so tried again. Again, the charge wasn’t processing, and they claimed they had «just changed to a new computer program». LIES. So finally I gave them a different card. They charged that and viola, it worked, after being there for more than 30 minutes. Being suspicious, I was sure to check my balances online, and sure enough they charged me twice on my credit card and once on my debit card…
So I went to them, and was furious, they of course didn’t know what to do. They thought they had gotten away with it I’m sure. I show proof of all of the charges with bank statements printed online and they check their system. OF COURSE, they don’t see the 2 charges that they made on my credit card, they don’t even exist on their system… HOW could that be???
So they told us someone would call us and would take care of it. After a more than 20 minutes of back and forth on the phone, nothing was resolved. Filing fraud with the credit card company.
Someone needs to do something about this company. I’m sure they’re doing this to so many people.

they literally grab you at their Kiosk at the Main Place mall and make you take a seat in their chair… Yes when she used the straightener on me it did curl my hair. And it looked nice… but when I got it home it didnt do the same thing.
The woman with the thick accent pretends to talk to her boss to get you a better deal, but its not her boss… and the price on the box is not the price from their web site. its all a HOAX! I wish I never bought the stupid iron. Dont fall for them.

SCAM!!! I wish I could put zero stars for «Herstyler». This comapny is the biggest scam ever and the people that work here are dis-​honest. I cant believe I fell for it and lost $ 100. My product broke after 1 month and I only used it 5 times. They will not even exchange the product for a new one. Everthing about this company and there products are a SCAM!
AVOID HERSTYLER AT ALL COSTS!!! They are located at kiosks at almost every mall (mission viejo, laguna hills, etc…)

I purchased a HerStyler flatiron on Nov. 27, 2009, from a kiosk at the Westminster Mall. Upon using it the first time, I found it totally snagged my hair. Ouch! I am in the process of trying to get an exchange or refund. I’ll report back after this is all said and done to rate the customer service at the kiosk!

This is about HerStyler in Pasadena, CA. High pressured salesmen. Luckily I didn’t fall for it! Give me a break. The guy got so mad when I didn’t purchase one of his HerStyler things. He also kind of burned my scalp. It looked like a cheap product.

So here’s my story…
I bought the set almost a year ago at Westminster mall. The guy told me I would have a 5 year warranty with it… Too good to be true huh? Well recently my straightener broke on me. It wont turn on.
So I tried to return it at the mall and figures they were gone!
Second try. I went to the block because I remembered seeing that brand name at the stand. I figure oh they might have moved here. NO the guy said I couldn’t return it there because they are a dif company meaning they buy that name with dif owners all over.
I said «Oh so if anyone ever buys from this company and a product doesn’t work and one company is gone they will have the same problem?» So no one should buy???
He didn’t want to help because he didn’t sale it to me.

Oh and by the way he admitted to me and told me that the guy who sold it to me lied and said anything to sale it to me.
Does that prove it to you now? I wouldn’t trust any of them!
