Went here to pick up an Air conditioner and the sales person was very happy to assist me. They were out of stock on the one I was looking for so he did give me the price of the unit I wanted for one they had which was cool. The spot is pretty big carrying all kinds of large household appliances — sinks, faucets, A/C’s, stoves, washers and more. The cool thing is the 3.5% tax here on top of the possibility of getting money off of if what they don’t have is in stock to keep your business. With that you could get some good deals. The process was pretty smooth, but I can imagine some wait if it’s a busy day. When I went there were only 2 sales people and one was tied up so I did have to wait a few min. The look of the store could use a bit of a face lift too, its nice and bright but coming up the stairs its a bit barren looking.

Karl’s Appliance is the worst! We gave them many opportunities, and they messed up every time. Our first encounter with Karl’s was over 10 years ago when we purchased a large outside grill that they delivered heavily damaged and which we rejected. They tried to deliver a floor model as «new». After numerous attempts we did receive what we ordered. More recently, we remodeled a condo in NJ and purchased 5 kitchen appliances from Karl’s(totaling $ 7,123.91) because the architect we worked with urged us to order from them. The refrigerator, that cost $ 2,900, needed to be repaired within one month of delivery. The oven in the new gas range that was delivered at the same time made loud noises. The apt. owner worked full time and had no opportunity to deal with immediately repairing the oven so avoided using it, but did use the stove top. Unfortunately a little over a year lapsed, and so did the one-year warranty, before the required repair was finally scheduled and done. The cost to us was an additional $ 404.31 to repair a brand new range. The range originally cost $ 1,799, and we also purchased form Karl’s the chimney hood for the range for a separate cost of $ 750, bringing the total cost of this appliance to about $ 2,953 plus tax. Have to wonder, two new items delivered, two needed repair virtually immediately. I called the salesperson we dealt with at Karl’s, Ellen Schwartz, and informed her of the issues we had regarding the items we purchased through her in the hopes that Karl’s would reimburse us for the range repair cost of $ 404.3. During the conversation, I reminded her that we had spent $ 7,100 when ordering through her, but it didn’t matter because she said that it would not be possible to be reimbursed for the repair. After we originally ordered the refrigerator and stove noted above from Karl’s but before they were delivered, we also purchased from Karl’s a washer-dryer. The washer-dryer set was delivered and installed by Karl’s. When the washer was tested they found water leaking from the bottom. The installer called Karl’s about a replacement. We were told we’d have to wait three weeks or more to get another washer; however, they advised us that we could keep the dryer. We had already sold our old washer and dryer. So we had Karl’s remove the defective washer and the dryer and purchased the appliances elsewhere, with 2 day delivery and installation. Will never walk into a Karl’s again.

Worst service, purchased full kitchen from here, dishwasher came damaged, had to fight for replacement. After getting fridge installed by them they stripped a screw on door handle and now they want me to call the manufacturer! Steer away!
