We ordered a family meal. They did not have a lot of customers(one person in front of us). The lady working said it would be a 6 minute wait. Somehow the 6 minute wait turned into a 35 minute wait. Then the order wasn’t complete. The young lady that assisted us, Fallyn, was rude and unhelpful. I’m so disappointed by this visit.

QUICKSUMMARY– My worst experience at a KFC/LJS ever! Dirty & Unsanitary Wasteful ORDERING– My husband ordered for us while I found a seat and waited. There was no one in front of him in line and it did not take long for him to place his order and receive our food. THEMEAL– I got the two piece cod plate with 2 hushpuppies and coleslaw. The fish was hot and tasted good. The hushpuppies were very different than the ‘puppies I have ever had at LJS; they were lighter and had less onion taste(I didn’t care for these and prefer how they used to be). I don’t know if this was a company-wide change or if they were just made incorrectly. They weren’t bad, but they seemed cheap… like they were skimping on ingredients. The coleslaw was not as cold as I’d like it and it was just slopped onto the plate and even dribbled onto the tray. It was very unappetizing. I drank sweet tea, but it was pretty bad and horribly overly sweet so I tempered it with half unsweetened tea. I still didn’t finish it because I didn’t care for it at all. I ended up just getting water to wash the taste out. ETC– If you have skimmed over my review, please take a moment to read this part! It was difficult to choose a place to sit because they were all dirty! Either the tables had crumbs or smears, or the booths/chairs were gross… or both. I chose the least offensive table with a booth and wiped it with a napkin. There was a dead fly on the back of my seat at shoulder level. I had to eat knowing that thing was right there behind me! There were crumbs all over the seat and in-between the cracks. There was a massive spiderweb above on of the doors on the security light fixture. It waved about in the breeze when the door opened. There was dirt and food crumbs all over the floor and rugs. The chair legs were crusted with gunk. I also noticed that the trashcan area was in need of attention: the doors hung ajar, there was a sticky mess on the floor beside it, and trash was hanging out. Not a good look. Now, I’m not saying that a restaurant ever has an excuse to be untidy, but an especially busy restaurant might get some sympathy. However, we arrived at about 11AM and there were only three other people in the restaurant and the drive-thru was not busy. They hadn’t been open long, so there is NOWAY that the mess we saw was from that day, meaning it was that way over night. It really grossed me out. I didn’t dare visit the restroom; I washed up with my Pocket-bac instead. My wasteful comment in the above summary is in reference to the gross amount of condiments we were given. When Hubby brought the tray around we had about 10 ketchup packets and 10 tartar sauce packets. All I wanted was one cocktail sauce so he went back up to get that. We threw all of the other condiments away which I felt was a real shame since we hadn’t even asked for them. Bad for the environment, bad for the bottom line!

The sides were adequate but the chicken was horrible. We will never eat here again since the food quality is way down!!! It had a odd nasty watery shake n bake taste I never had with any KFC chicken at other locations. Save your money and time and skip KFC in Orange.

Grabbed a bite on the Long Johns Silvers side of the house and they did a great job. There were some other customers in the drive-thru AND in-house during this dinner hour and they did a great job of providing customer service with a smile. The best part: the fish and chicken was great! Just like LJS should be!

You better have an ice cold heart to eat here. Because it was like a million degrees inside. I kept wishing there were tables outside or they should’ve propped the doors open if they didn’t want to turn on the air. The food wasn’t too hot either. I remember KFC being a lot better when I was young.
