I’m not vegan and I love this place. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious except the drinks which are a little too sweet for my taste. So glad they’re in town.

So I gave up(red/white?) meat for Lent and sometimes it’s challenge… I struggle to find a place that gives me the satisfaction that meat gives me. Fortunately I’ve found the perfect place to satisfy my cravings! You go Loving Hut! I got the Royal Noodle Soup which I think is similar to Bun Bo Hue(BBH)… And I definitely miss BBH. Loving Hut’s version is SO flavorful; it’s full of spices, «meats,» tofu, and everything that is good about being alive. I mean it. I think if I could find places that does a version of BBH like this I could totally be a vegetarian. It’s that good. The boyfriend got the Hainam Grilled Rice and the only problem he had with the dish was that he wished the soy filet was cut more before being served. Aside from that little problem he said it was delicious! I got the carrots and apple juice which was also a yummy way to end my night! You can tell it’s freshly made and man, I love juice. I’m going to have to try all the other dishes they have. I’m totally eyeing their Golden Noodle Soup and their Wonton Soup. Hehe

My aunt and uncle introduced me to Loving Hut about 10 years ago when I still lived with them. We would make the 2 – 3 hr drive from Fresno to San Jose just so we could eat dinner at the BEST vegan restaurant, and then drive another 2−3hrs home. So that alone should speak volume for how good this place is. Even as a non-vegan! I took my bf here for the first time this year and needless to say, he was super skeptical about where we were going. He didn’t believe that he would like the food here, especially since he LOVES meat. But at the time we had made some lifestyle changes and decided to go meatless for a while and cleanse out all the holiday feasting. So we Unilocaled«healthy food» around the area and to MY surprise, there was a loving hut in the same city I lived in! No more 6 hour drives, this time it’s just a short 20 minute drive. I glanced through the menu looking for dishes that were familiar to me, and finally found the Heavenly Salad. Let’s just say, I’m not a big fan of salad… BUT I will devour the whole plate of Heavenly Salad! It’s THAT good. My favorite part is the dressing — it’s sweet, but with a hint of lemon in there. It truly is heavenly! The bf got the udon soup and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. He praised the broth of the soup — it was clean, flavorful and just a little sweet. We’ve been back for at least 6 times since. We’ve had the pad thai, which is also very delicious. I like that you can taste the freshness of the vegetables, unlike other places where the veggies sometimes look a little old, soggy, and wilted. The real winner is the OREOCHEESECAKE. We get it every time we go. Pandan cake is also very tasty, kind of like coconut cake. Anyway, if you’re looking for a healthier grub, this is the place to start!

OMGTHEIRCAKES! I tried their oreo cake and it was Amazing. Besides the fact that this establishment is making the world a better place by providing Vegan food, the service is excellent. The lady who was serving us has a very humble demeanor and was very attentive. I ordered the Spicy Cha Cha and it really is spicy and delicious. I will probably go back very soon and order the noodles. Once again thank you for the food and the amazing service!

This is one of the best value meals considering what you pay here compared to other vegan restaurants. Lots of international meal choices and great friendly staff and service is on point. I would recommend again and again. This place allows everyone to be able to afford a healthy diet. Thank you loving hut!

I was really looking forward to coming here because the menu looked amazing, and there was so much variety. After finally trying it out for the first time yesterday, I really have to say, this place was just okay. The food wasn’t as good as expected, the service was good, but because it was little packed on a Friday night, the service wasn’t as quick. The one thing that I did like on the menu was the chocolate chip cheesecake! Simply amazing for being an all vegan recipe.

I wasn’t too crazy about the food. I’m personally not vegan but I took my sister who is. We both agreed food was overhyped.

Wow wow loving hard on the Loving Hut! This place is unique and I don’t think there’s anything like it around. I got the spicy cha cha and let me tell you it was a party in my mouth. The seasoning is subtle and isn’t too overpowering. It’s not really spicy, which would’ve made it better in my opinion. Also, it tastes just like shrimp and may even taste better than the real thing. I was so surprised at how crispy it was. It was not at all oily or greasy which scored extra points in my book. There was also a mixture of onions and peppers which were flavorful. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients. It also comes with a nice side salad. All in all, the meal left me feeling content and not at all bloated. I look forward to trying other dishes in the future.

VERYGOODFOOD. Super healthy and delicious. They have a great variety of food to choose from. I love their royal noodle soup(for my fellow Vietnamese friends it us bun bo hue), pad Thai, hainam chicken, and the burgers are worth it I always see at least one person who orders it every time I go there. Been here a couple times and loved the food and service everytime.

This is another vegan restaurant that serves some amazing food. I would much rather have dishes with meat, but will never complain if I have to eat here. Everything tastes so good. I would even go out of my way to eat at Loving Hut Service is sometimes slow, but the food is worth the wait. They are closed on Sunday which is a bummer. The dining area is small and often full. We often get our food to go. Most of the food is Asian cuisine but there is a burger, burrito, fries. Check out their yummy desserts. They change daily. I would bet that if someone gave you this food, and didn’t tell you it was vegan you would never know.

I LOVEIT I LOVEIT I LOVEIT!!! I see this chain everywhere, but since I have a carnivore bf, I never really think to go here. The minute I made dinner plans with one of my gfs and she asked to find something at least semi healthy, I put Loving Hut into the suggestion hat. She took a quick glance at the Unilocal reviews and immediately agreed. Thanks Unilocal for getting us here! They were out of the tofu so we ended up getting the spring rolls instead. It was such a treat for my friend to have«SHRIMP» spring rolls again since she is allergic to shellfish! SHRIMPSPRINGROLLS: Came out first and they blew both of us away. I was surprised at the fishy taste and nice texture of the faux shrimp. ROYALNOODLESOUP: Did not taste quite like Bun Bo Hue, but it was still a pretty darn good soup. Not exactly a sufficient enough substitute for bun bo hue IMHO, but rather just a pleasant and warming soup to have that I wouldn’t mind ordering again. BBQNOODLES: Simple but nearly as good as the real version. Topped with delicious, crispy egg rolls and slices of BBQ«meat». At first I was turned off by the sponginess of the meat, but after some time, it really grew on me! I made sure to take a little bit of everything back home to my meat eater bf without his knowing it was vegan, and he thought everything was really tasty! He did comment that the meat had a strange texture, but it was definitely not a deal breaker! When I finally broke the news to him that everything he ate was Vegan, he was pretty floored. The real cherry on top was that everything we got was priced around $ 5 – 10! Real quality, real food, for a great price! My meat loving bf and I will definitely be back, over and over again!

This place makes going vegetarian so easy. Especially at these prices. Although the majority of their dishes are Asian, you can also switch it up and order spaghetti or burger. I love love Bun Bo Hue so I tried their rendition of this Vietnamese dish called Royal Noodle and I can say it’s quite satisfying.

Absolutely delicious. Don’t let the random strip mall location fool you, this place is awesome! I’ve taken meat eaters here before who have absolutely loved it and haven’t missed their meat one bit. I highly recommend ALL of their noodle bowls, but especially the BBQ one. The flavors are spot on, everything tastes so fresh, and whatever technique they use to make their veggie protein meat is incredible. Some of the best vegan meat I’ve had to date! I absolutely love that this place is SUCH a good example of how delicious vegan food really is. Thank you, Loving Hut!

Great little fast and friendly spot for a quick casual bite. Of course totally vegan and delicious. A few highlights on the menu: Crispy rolls– crispy and filling, but not heavy or greasy Golden Noodle soup — flavorful broth love the mushrooms Golden Tofu — Fried tofu with a dipping sauce what is not to love Delight Veggie — the sauce was flavorful however a little salty for me but it tasted really good. Pad Thai — my daughter loves their pad Thai — I like it but not as much as other places that we frequent. Oh and Dessert happens too — they have cheesecake Oreo is delish!

Came with my boyfriend. I got the BLT sandwich with sweet potatoes, didn’t like the sweet potatoes. Very think and plain. My boyfriend got a burger I think and he got fries but now there fries are waffle fries, way better. They don’t have a vegan ranch so I just used there vegan mayo and mixed it the ketchup, good dipping sauce, try it!

JACKFRUITSALAD. I’m hooked! Best thing ever. I crave it all the time. It’s not like anything you’ve ever had before. I also love the fabulous Mongolian. It has great flavors and is spiced to perfection and the vegetables are cooked perfectly every time. The Royal Noodle soup is also out of this world. I don’t know what they make that broth out of but it is amazing. The spring rolls are also delicious. I could eat here every day. The owners are SO nice too. It’s not every day that you have a business owner telling you where the best vegan food is all over the county. The sign of someone confident in their business and dedicated to their customers.

I’ve always been a meat-and-potatoes kinda gal but this place is seriously making me question my consumption choices. Loving Hut is a cute little restaurant on Tustin Street between Chapman Avenue and Palmyra Avenue. It sits in the middle of a mini plaza which can get easily«lost» in its surroundings but don’t let the meager exterior fool you. This place is truly a hidden gem. Winners: Heavenly salad Spicy Cha Cha Soft chow fun Pad Thai Losers: Spring rolls Crispy chow fun Honorable mentions: BBQ noodle bowl Fabulous Mongolian Lemongrass sensation My go-to dish is the Heavenly salad. The fiancé and I ALWAYS order this as our starter. It tastes so fresh and light. I love the crisp texture and the sweetness of the dressing. This a MUST order! The spicy cha cha, soft chow fun and pad thai are also winners because of the great flavors they all pack. My only issue with the chow fun is that they don’t mix the noodles well(or even at all). When it arrives on your table the veggies are on top and the noodles look like they literally just came from the package and are still sticking to each other. As for the losers, I didn’t find the spring rolls and crispy chow fun to be that exciting. The spring rolls were underwhelming and I prefer soft and flat over crispy when it comes to noodles. I’m conflicted with the honorable mentions. The only good thing about the BBQ noodle bowl was the slices of very flavorful protein and the crispy rolls. Personally, I was never really a fan of vermicelli bowls so I felt hesitant ordering this but if you love them, then by all means try it. The fabulous mongolian and lemongrass sensation were both inconsistent with flavors. One day they tasted great and the other – bland. Overall, Loving Hut has recently become one of my regular spots. Vegetarian or not – everyone should try this place at least once. I may not love all the dishes on their menu but what they are consistent with is the portions – fairly generous. And even if it’s a lot, you don’t feel«guilty» or miserably stuffed after your meal.

#100Reviews2015 — Review No. 22 Wow, just wow. How is it that I’ve been here multiple times, had the roommates pick up take out multiple times, and yet, never wrote a review?! Well, here it is, sweetheart! Service is great, the owner is good about checking on you to make sure you’re enjoying your sumptuously prepared vegan eats. And enjoy them you will. Hands down, my favorite items to order here are, in order, the spring roll with the realistic looking veggie shrimp, the BBQ Noodle salad, and the wonton soup. The proteins are flavorful, as are the salad dressings, and the portions are very generous — expect to leave here stuffed! The wonton soup is very tasty, and chock full of veggies, highly recommend. The phở is tasty for a delicious vegan alternative, as is the udon noodle soup. Really, I feel as though you can’t go wrong with anything you order, and the prices are quite reasonable given all you get. The desserts offered include various cakes, but I’ve so far been way too full to try them! Highly recommend.
