I see a lot of bad reviews on here. I’ll chime in. Customer service: I come in on Sundays. Not that many people there. Sometimes I be looking scruffy as hell lol. Great customer service, consistently. Only time I can say something remotely otherwise is that one time I ordered a pizza burger. Yes, I’m that guy, who does that type of thing. In a short time she remembered me. Food: I’ve been to other states and countries have eaten some ridiculously good food. Should I have my own show? Hell no. That being said I’m picky but I keep the expectations real. The foods good. Well the cheese steak is good. Anything related to the cheese steak is good. I’m sorry the pizza burger was sad. And that’s me not comparing it to the pizza burger I had while on business in Washington. While the steak sandwich is good I wouldn’t say it’s spectacular or amazing. I do like the bread and onions though. Also the portions of it aren’t that big. But does it justify the price? The service is good. Also they have coupons. My cheese steak fries had more cheese steak than my sandwich. Cheese steak fries were pretty good though.

The cheesesteaks aren’t that great. Atleast the steak ones. So I’m only getting the chicken one now if I ever go again. There’s one girl that works the counter– she’s on top of things.(I don’t mean the new trainee tho) you’ll know who I’m talking about when you place your order. I noticed her telling one of the cooks that he got my order wrong, so if she’s not there when you go, double check your order before you leave. This is the 2nd time one of the cooks just ‘gets it wrong’. Don’t know what those cooks have their minds on, but I’m betting it’s not my(or probably your) order. hard to tell because they speak Spanish to each other, and don’t really seem pay attention. My food just tastes like they half-*ssed everything. The bread is good-ask for it to be toasted, or they won’t do it.(Even if you ask, they probably won’t anyhow, but worth a try). The steak-not so good. but maybe I got ‘lucky’ and got the older batch? However. *They have happy hours & specials at this location! From 2−5pm it’s $ 6 for each, and on the 5,15, &25th, it’s $ 5 for ANY cheesesteak!(Makes sense to get the one with everything) minus whatver you don’t like(i.e.; mushrooms). Take a look at the calander ‘specials’ taped to the counter-you can save a few bucks if you pay attention(because they wont tell you themselves)! They also have coupons in the monthly mailers. you won’t have to pay full price ever. Gets busy on the $ 5 days-so don’t be in a hurry. HINT; And the ‘hot’ peppers they have at the serve bar, they aren’t really hot. but those are the same ones they put in the cheesesteaks when you order the one w/peppers! And lastly, be cautious in that parking lot. it’s shared w/grocery store & just set up wierd. different directions cross with no yield or stop-so be careful.

Shortly after I ate their plain chicken sandwich, I started having stomach rumbling and later on it developed to diarrhea.

HORRIBLE. The youngish looking gentleman has the teenage attitude of I don’t care to be here, took my order messed it up twice, didn’t wash his hands was disgusted and appalled. When I asked for a refund I no longer wanted the food said unfortunately he couldn’t since it was a groupon said he could return the $ 2 something dollar difference I paid in cash since my total was 2.25 the Bun were cold like the bread wasn’t even defrosted meat was undercooked pink, and the guy made an effort to «cough» on my food

First time going through that location. Once again, lots of smiling faces. The place is super clean, updated, and has a welcoming vibe. I definitely ordered way too much, and of course, ate every bite. Will be back soon

The sandwich wasn’t too bad, but it was morsels or something, not cuts or slices. I wasn’t impressed with the sandwich. I probably bought the wrong one for my taste. On the other hand, the fries were excellent, hot and there were a lot. That’s why I gave it 4 stars. Also on the 5th, 15th and 25th they sell the full size sandwiches for $ 5.55. I definitely will go back on the 15th to try and different sandwich and enjoy the fries Update: I went back yesterday the 15th for the deal and I have to change my mind about the fries. They were horrible. They weren’t cooked on the inside or something, I actually threw them away. I lowered their star rating. I’m going back one more time and maybe I’ll ask for the fries well done.

The salad I purchased was sad. I ordered the Italian Market and it seriously needed help. It was lacking olives, pepperoncinis, croutons or a small bread and a good Italian dressing. Hopefully their sandwiches are better.

Went in today and got the Philly best — was pretty good. the meat seemed unseasoned, but the sandwich was hot and tasty none the less. They forgot the mushrooms but did remember my grilled onions Melted cheese and I ordered the standard meat serving — and it was good. Not like some places where the meat is missing and you just bite into bread . I waited about 15 minutes for the 1 sandwich and soda to go. keep in mind only 1 guy cooking. I would try it again to see if they added any flavor to their meat. so 3.5 stars.

First off, I disagree with the 3 stars and under. We’ve been eating there for a year and not once have I waited more them 10 – 15 minutes, and this is at lunch. The food is awesome especially my favorite Italian Sub. What bugs me even more is comments about Larry. He is the nicest and funniest guy I know. I really am shocked that people say he is rude. He is very nice and has a dry sense of humor so people may take that wrong. I never go in without saying hello to him. If a person is not sure of what to order, he will sum them up and order for them, and that takes great salesmanship to do this. I give this a 5-star rating even if the prices are a bit on the steep side. Keep up the good work guys, and the cook always knows my order and starts as soon as he see’s me entering!!! Thanks again and todays sandwich was awesome!!!

The food is up to par with usual Philly’s Best flavor but this location has BAD management/ownership that lacks the most basic customer service etiquette. So bad that it warrants not spending money here at all. The corporation should be embarrassed that it is being represented by this franchise; it is not up to par with other stores. I ordered a cheeseburger combo and the cashier clarified with me whether I wanted fries or onion rings with it. I leave the store and realize there is no cheeseburger inside so I called to ask if it was still at the shop. The manager/co-owner gives me unbelievable attitude over the phone, does not apologize for the error and tells me that there is no cheeseburger written on my ticket. He advises that what I ordered was an onion ring combo. How is that possible when the cashier asked if I wanted onion rings or fries to go with the cheeseburger?! The manager/co-owner carries on with, «well what do you want me to do about it? You can come order a hamburger but what was written down on the order form was combo — onion rings. What do you want me to do about it? You got an onion ring combo.» How many times can someone(with nasty attitude) say the same phrase in one stretch? What do I want you to do about it? Having customer service etiquette and common sense would be great! The cheeseburger combo is posted outside the door and that’s what I ordered. If the order ticket was written in a way that was so unclear to the cook and end-line staff that I ended up with the wrong items, I could absolutely become understanding about it IF the manager/co-owner wasn’t a the rudest person imaginable! Their order-communication errors are not my problem to solve. In the event that I don’t receive what I order, I DONOT expect someone at this level of leadership to give me the«f-you, it’s your problem, not mine,» attitude. Not once did he offer to make up for the confusion. Instead, he continued with the nastiness in asking, «well, what do you want me to do about it?» I told him that he needed to communicate with his staff to prevent these things from happening and that in the end, I’m the customer and the golden rule is that I’m right. There are SO many food outlets surrounding Philly’s Best and they need to earn their keep. His response? «Welllll, today is „5 on 5“ day(or whatever they call it) and cheesesteaks are $ 5.55 for what is usually $ 8.50.» SO?! What does that matter??? I eat there on days when it is regular-price, too. Just because the food is on promo, is it ok for him to be an a**? No, it doesn’t work that way. I could have easily gone anywhere else and gotten better service, better attitude and equally or better food but I chose their establishment. Don’t waste your money eating at this location; the manager/owner is ungrateful for the very patrons that keep his business alive. Go to a Philly’s Best that that is well-run or just eat somewhere else altogether.

5th, 15th and 25th of every month, any sandwich is $ 5.55. Pretty good deal considering the regular prices are $ 6.59 — $ 8.59. It was super crowded tonight(because it’s the 15th). We ordered two Philly’s with cheese, onions and peppers, fries and onion rings. Total came to under $ 18 with tax. I guess I saved a couple of bucks. Customer service is great, friendly staff. The location is in the Ralph’s shopping complex. They don’t taken American Express.

That review about the 25-minute wait was wrong! It was more like 30 minutes for me from walking in the door to taking out my one-sandwich order without a dense crowd, and that’s what brings down the rating of this place. If you’re on a time crunch, you’re better off going somewhere else, or at least take the waiting time into consideration when calling in your order. I’d give about 30 to 40 minutes. I went with the Rocky Balboa, which is a straight cheesesteak sandwich with or without onions, with double meat. Opt for double meat if you really want to get an idea of what a cheesesteak sandwich is supposed to be like. The default cheese is provolone, so if you’re a Whiz-wit fan, let them know immediately. Note that it might not be real Cheez-Whiz. The quality of the food was better than I expected. I couldn’t wait to take a bite before getting a picture, if that gives you an idea. If you’re not a cheesesteak fan, this place probably won’t change your mind. If you like cheesesteaks, this place does a good job satisfying that craving. Just be sure to temper your expectations as follows: 1) Service is slow. Plan ahead. 2) This ain’t Philly! Keep your snobbery in check, or get a plane ticket, ya bum! If you plan on waiting it out, it’s worth it. Trust me on springing for the extra meat on the cheesesteaks.

25 minutes for a sandwich is too long… Wasn’t that great either. Larry the cashier is the slowest moving human being I have seen. Quite rude too. When I mentioned that 25 min for a sandwich was a little excessive he told me they were really busy. There was one other person there. Will not go back.

Typical Philly’s Best franchise. Amoroso rolls, white American cheese, etc. Pretty much one of the best cheesesteaks you can get outside of Philadelpia– it is smaller and more pricey, just like every other Philly’s Best, but I’ll take it when I need my Philly fix! Glad to have one closer to my work.

Only get the cheesesteaks! Dip into some siracha… kaboom! That’s a nice hot lunch! I tried the fries from here once, they aren’t that great since they don’t use preservatives and whatnot. Stick to the cheesesteaks and you’ll be happy.

Philly Italian Hoagie is an Amoroso Roll stuffed with capacolla, provolone, genoa salami, mortadella and topped with oil, vinegar, lettuce, and tomato. I love the meat variety. It’s very Italian in flavor. Mangia! The sandwich is on the lighter side so you’ll have room for a side of fries or onion rings. Amoroso Rolls make the sandwich. Rating: 4.5÷5 Philly Turkey Breast Hoagie is an Amoroso Roll stuffed with fresh-sliced turkey breast and topped with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The turkey is thinly sliced and a generous portion at that. The chopped lettuce is crisp and fresh, like a fresh salad in your sandwich. The Amoroso Roll is soft and chewy just like it should be. Rating: 4.5÷5 Onion Rings are the perfect side to a hoagie. These onion rings taste like homemade. The light batter is almost tempura-like. The onion inside is sweet and juicy. Dip it in some ranch dressing and you’re good to go! Rating: 5⁄5 Philly Cheesesteak with grilled onions, peppers, and melted white American cheese is the way I like my cheesesteak. The guys on the grill are trained to cook the thinly sliced steak the Philly way, by using metal dough scrapers to chop and sauté the meat and vegetables of your choice on the grill top. It is formed into a pile on the grill, long and wide enough to fit on the roll, topped with cheese and grilled a little longer until the cheese is melted and gooey. They use a long metal spatula to lift the meat and cheese onto the roll. That’s how a cheesesteak is done! The combination of beef, onion, peppers, and cheese are perfect with salty and sweet notes throughout. The Amoroso Roll is sturdy enough to hold up. No soggy bread here! Rating: 4.5÷5 Cheesesteak Fries are Philly’s Best fries topped with steak and melted cheese. Tempt your guilty pleasure with this behemoth. It’s a cheesesteak with the fries standing in for the roll. The fries are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Plus, they’re wide enough to scoop the meat and cheese for each bite. It’s gooey, messy, and just onolicious! Grab some napkins! Rating: 5⁄5
