Plus EV Games – Orange

Great owner and great community. Parking is aplenty and there are a bunch of places to get food at near the area. The store itself has a lot of room and great selection of cards.

As good as it gets!!! You have to come by and see for yourself. MTG and awesome people what more do you need. :)

LOVE this store. Terrific customer service and well maintained stock. If you’re looking for a card, they probably have it. Every time I go in to store there is always a great atmosphere and friendly faces. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to play Magic the Gathering.

So this is a review from a newbie perspective, so please take it as that. With a game going on over 20 years, there’s alot of entrenchment in this hobby and can make it difficult for a new player to break in. They rely on people in the know to help them and show them the way.
Cape and Cowl is one such place but so is this. I was in today and an employee took the time to totally put up with my beginner «oh my gosh really» questions and really help me put together a solid deck that didn’t break the bank. This while a tourny was going on. He never missed a beat. Did his job, helped with the tourny where needed but also made sure I had a good grasp of the deck I was building.
This, not recommending $ 10 cards just because their expensive is how you earn a customer who will come back and spend more money there rather than leaning later he was mislead and never coming back. If your in the Orange area, definitely go here. I don’t know if it’s right to put the emps name in the review but I’ll tell you if you want to know since he really is an asset to the MTG community and to the store.

One of the best Magic: the Gathering shops in the area. Run by great people who love the game.
