So apparently no one told the management here about the federal Americans with disabilities Act… The valet parking service ropes off about 5 or 6 handicapped parking spots. Then they tell you it’s for oversized vehicles, by a very rude driver. The employee stated and I’m quoting him«we can do whatever we want, it’s private property, we have the permission from the city of Orange and the Orange police department, we reserve the spots for oversized handicapped vehicles«I asked him why do you them have 3 or front parked? No answer just some blonde girl with more attitude coming at me with a piece of paper. So I called both, the city of Orange and the Orange police department and no they didn’t tell them it’s ok… What this place(the parking company via management) is doing is forcing handicapped drivers to pay for parking while roping off this free parking area(only leaving 1 spot for the pharmacy) … They literally had about a dozen cars all with handicapped placards lined up out front so they can charge them… This is crazy… I called the Orange pd, they don’t like to be lied about what they say is ok… I’ll be filing a complaint regarding all of the parking here at St Joseph’s, the hospital and the cancer center … Not cool to charge so much for parking, to the cancer patients on the cancer center side. I’m on a mission: look up the Federal Americans with Disabilities Act… Oh and before I forget the younger valet driver told me «well you’re walking around fine, you don’t look handicapped» yes he did. Like I said I’m not done.

I hope this is the right location, but I made a Unilocal account specifically for this incident. I recently called and wanted to see if anything was available before my appointment instead of waiting roughly two more weeks. I was put on hold for a little because I’m sure they are busy but the lady who answered the phone was just plain rude. All I wanted was to see if everything is good with my baby a little sooner and very rude and blunt the lady said«We’re not open that day.» So I said thanks then she proceeded with a «Mhm. Bye.» I work in customer service as well and just thought this was very unprofessional and no receptionist in a DOCTORSOFFICE should be rude to a pregnant woman.
