I love this little coffee shop. It has a great vibe, beautiful décor, a friendly staff and of course delicious coffee. Will definitely be making this my new coffee spot in Orange.

Found this little gem through my colleague at work. Very friendly atmosphere and the place has a cool décor and the most important thing is they do good coffee!!! The owner, Gavin, is very hospitable to us and we will come back for more yummy coffee

This is a really fantastic coffee shop up in Orange. I wish their were more locations around Orange County. The atmosphere of the store is very European and different. Love the seating arrangement it’s very modern. I would definitely also recommend the coffee here as I have traveled to many places around the world and the coffee here is definitely made really well especially the cappuccino which is my favorite. If you are around chapman university this is the place to come to if you are looking for good coffee.

I’ve LOVED Aussie Bean ever since they brought the coffee truck to Chapman University’s campus. The owners and baristas are incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. They even remember my drink every time I go! I love the comfy atmosphere and the koala symbol makes me love it even more. I went abroad and one of the reasons I couldn’t wait to come back was so that I could get more Aussie Bean. After going here I refuse to go to any other coffee places.

LEGITIMATE COFFEE. I love their new location in Old Towne Orange, across from the Filling Station and just down the street from Chapman University on 112 E. Maple Ave., Orange, 92 866. Their new coffee shop is very hip and modern, and very comfortable.
But the best part is their coffee — this isn’t manufactured crap you get at Starbucks or some no-​name coffee shop — this is the real deal. Very delicious and authentic. Don’t waste your time on any other coffee shop in the Orange Circle (Plaza), go straight to the Aussie Bean.
The owner is also a Chapman Alumnus so I’m sure there are perks for Chapman students and alumni.

Delicious cappuccino. Seriously, the best coffee I’ve had in a while. Well done interior décor. Very comfy to sit by the window and watch the morning begin. Very friendly service. I didn’t eat anything but the selection was somewhat sparse. Maybe because they just opened? Great music, adequate volume.

We hired the Aussie Bean truck for our wedding and they were an absolute hit! Everybody LOVED the taste of the coffee and the super friendly service. It was one of the best things we did for our big day. Now I’m so glad they have this amazing store front to go to. Great coffee, smooth taste, and an amazing staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by and grab a flat white and a lemon pastry and enjoy the inviting modern décor on one of their comfortable couches while chatting about life with friends.

Living just a couple of blocks away and having enjoyed the cart at the Farmers Market and at Chapman University for a long while now, I’ve been waiting for this place to open forever. I knew the coffee would be fantastic, but what I was mostly interested in is what they would do with the space. On the outside, it’s never been a great looking location and being a former art gallery space the transition was always going to be interesting. Happy to say the conversion has been a massive success. It’s a beautiful, spacious location that Chapman students already seem to be dominating with their laptops. Finally, we have a real coffee spot in Plaza. I’ll be a regular there for sure.

I’ve been a fan of the Aussie Bean ever since it was a truck on the Chapman campus. As a commuter student, who’s on campus nearly every day of the week, going to the Orange circle outside the context of school is a drag. There’s not much that I would drive to Orange for, but I’ve noticed when I’m on summer/​winter/​and spring break, I really do miss the Aussie Bean. It’s by far one of my favorite coffees, it’s reasonably priced, and the staff is always nice. I’m so happy that they have this beautiful spot now. I will definitely come here to study. Only thing I noticed was that the spots with the outlet plugs are limited.

The barista was incredibly rude. I was curious about their operation so I asked a few questions. The answers I got were filled with sarcasm and snarkyness.
«Do you roast all of your own beans?» «Nooo, we get all our beans from Costco, of course we roast all our own beans.»
The entire conversation went like this. I would make a comment or ask a question and the Barista would come back with some snide remark.
I have never felt more belittled while making a purchase. The Barista has a real talent at taking everything you say and making you feel like you are 2 feet tall.
This was your soft open. Shouldn’t you act with a bit more class and grace? You need to prove to me that your are worth my business. Sure you have pretty good coffee, but I can go to a number of coffee shops in Orange County that serve just as good coffee (if not better) and don’t make me feel like an idiot for asking legitimate questions. Hell, I would rather drink crappy coffee if it meant that the barista that made it for me was friendly.
I really doubt that I will ever go back.

Found this little gem of a place this morning and I must say it is pretty amazing. We ordered the flat white and mocha and they were both very flavorful and smooth. The location is clean and the staff is friendly. Enjoyed the music and décor as well. The only downside was there was a girl standing at the cash register talking to an employee the entire visit and didn’t move when customers would approach to order. Overall I would recommend this coffee shop and will be coming back soon!

Wow! Amazing cappuccino! Smooth, tasty, & delicious! Looks like they roast their own beans, too! Visited today on their soft opening, got to meet the owners and their baby! James is one of the best baristas in the OC! This is a beautiful location very modern & upscale looking! Bravo! Can’t wait to go back!

The best bloody coffee I’ve had since relocating to the states. I ordered a flat white and was instantly reminded of home. I can’t recommend this place enough, whether you’re an Aussie or just someone who loves a great coffee!

These people are Awesome! I work a couple offices down from their main office… And the owner and staff are Super friendly, nice and accommodating! The coffee smells amazing and I recently tried one of their medium roast AND LOVED IT! I already can not wait to try another flavor… I love coffee and this is one of my top choices for that EXTRA wake me up in the morning I would definitely recommend THE AUSSIE BEAN 5***

Great selection of hot coffee but only one kind of iced coffee. They really care about what they brew. They even have some coffee plants growing outside. My favorite item there is a 32 ounce iced coffee. It’s a nice place and everybody is friendly.

I was greeted with a good day mate! ha!
I grab a Iced coffee with almond milk from there mobile cart parked right behind their soon to be store front at the circle. I noticed this Aussie bunch as I was waiting to be seated at Filling Station.(anyone who goes to the filling station on the weekend knows about that wait!)

Pretty great idea having this at the farmer’s market here in Orange. Very friendly people as well. I love the whole idea of serving coffee from their great looking trailer. Very slick!
I tried their flat white because I heard good things. The espresso was a bit over-​extracted, astringent and overly bitter I thought. I didn’t get a chance to ask if they use a «ristretto» shot like some people do with their flat whites. The milk kind of balanced it out, but still overall bitter coffee. I will try the espresso alone next time.
Overall, a cool idea and very nice people running it. It seems to be very popular as well.

Oh Aussie Bean… how I’ll miss you in a few short weeks when I leave!
If your a big fan of quality, craft coffee — then this is your place. Excellent cold brew both on and off nitro, great flat white NOT the gross Starbucks imitation, and a splendid mocha with Ghiradhelli chocolate.
For those that say this coffee is «too expensive» or «average», they obviously are the Starbucks frequenters that can’t tell the difference between a fresh roasted bean and a nugget of dirt.
If you haven’t given them a shot yet, try it out. They will make great recommendations if you’re unsure of what to order, and will make sure you leave satisfied!
Thanks Aussie Bean for making my time at Chapman more pleasant.
