Wow and Groupon is still selling vouchers. That sucks. Very disappointed. Oh well that’s how it goes.

Heed my warning, this place will NOT service your snowboard even after after you’ve given them 8 full days to do a half hour of work. And when they finally wax it, it was a mess!
Timeline:
Friday ⁶⁄₅: Spoke with someone on the phone. Was told full tune-​up can be ready by next day.
Saturday ⁶⁄₆: Dropped off board. Was told turnaround time would be 2 days instead. Okay, I said I’ll come back the following Saturday, ⁶⁄₁₃.
Thursday ⁶⁄₁₁: Spoke with the Manager? to check on the status and was told they haven’t done the work yet and would need til Sunday to give the board back. So I said okay. Fine.
Sunday ⁶⁄₁₄: NOTHING was done on the board by Sunday, a full 8 days! The guy felt bad so he said he can do it in half an hour if I can wait. By this time, I’m already pissed off with all the lies and delays but I already wasted so much gas and time coming from LA, so I waited a little past 30 minutes for him to do it.
The board was «ready» and the nice girl that worked at the shop gave it back to me whereas the guy must have been avoiding me cuz he disappeared. When I looked at the board, the waxing job was so bad, I’m going to have to pay someone else to fix it. I’m not exaggerating, see my photos. My board is only 1 years old so there were no damages or major scratches, but the crappy job was unbelievable. You can see the clumpy wax and ridges all over the board!
This is by far the worse service I have ever received from any service industry. The poor girl helping me felt bad but it wasn’t her fault so one star for her. Whoever manages this business needs some serious customer service skills. Just don’t go here at all.

There isn’t much of a selection here and things are somewhat overpriced. I am sure you can find some basics here, but nothing too special

I dropped off my board here for some tuning up awhile back. And there was some confusion about the pickup time. And I came by to pick it up but my board was not ready. So was really upset bc the drive is a little out of ways for me. But the manager on duty was really nice about it and apologized for the confusion and offered me a free waxing. I didn’t really care for the wax because I can wax my board myself but I was really pleased with the way the staff handled the issue. Will be willing to drive all the way here just to get my board tuned up here.

Was pleased to walk into a very clean well setup skate/​boutique shop. Clothes were stylish and the buyer knew what to buy for the store. Went in to kill time and ended up buying some clothes for my girlfriend. I flew back home to Hawaii to realize that I had gotten my girlfriend the wrong size and no longer had the receipt. I wrote a nice hand written letter with the original pair and the movement team exceed my expectations and sent us the correct size plus a hat. Hard to find genuine service like this anymore. Can’t wait until I return back to Cali so I can make a visit again.
Ps. Guys if you are having a hard time figuring out what to get just the buy the outfits right off the manikin. Super legit and easy!

Great skate shop. Had exactly what I needed. Nice clothes here too. And it’s around a great area. Highly recommend coming here to shop!

It’s not that I shop here all the time. It’s just that I like to know that it’s here for those times when I know I need something cute. I bought my daughters skate board here too. They have a nice selection, always new clothes, always toms shoes. The staff is cool and its one of the stores in the circle that has been there for a long long time now and it makes me happy. You can count on it for your basic beach appear necessities.

Dropped my boards off for a «full tune up». Asked the ladies at the front desk if they fill in the gashes in the boards and she said yes. Was promised the day after and then got a call saying they would be done in 2 days. Picked up the boards and they weren’t polished and the gashes weren’t filled so the boards was worse than before
They followed up and are making sure that the front desk has a clear definition of full tune. I appreciated the follow up and they are offering me 3 free tune ups when btr season starts again. Great customer service

Pretty decent place; nice clothes, but I came for their snowboard waxing. They did a nice job and were pretty decent at accommodating anything I wanted in particular. Was a bit of a drive, but if you drop off your board in the morning, kill time in the surrounding stores, you’ll likely have your board back by the time you’re ready to leave.

I like this store problem is they never have my size :(

In December 2012, I had an issue with a return. Yesterday (4 months later), it was finally resolved. I give the store 3 stars for making an exception to their return policy for me, I understand full well that what they did for me is not the typical way they would handle a situation like mine. I would have scored higher if it was taken care of much quicker.

I’ve passed this place many times, but never went in. I bought one of their groupons and finally went to this place. Cute store and friendly staff. I would definitely go here again.

I went to movement after active ride shop up at the village looking for some skate parts. They were super helpful, knowledgeable, and let me use their tools to put my board together!
Now I have the sickest board, from the sickest place. Will be coming back for sure!

Great store at the Orange Circle. I was able to find some cute SoCal beachwear and jewelry here. Definitely worth a visit. Check in on Unilocal and get a free Movement shirt.

Stopped in a few weeks ago after visiting Omega;s for a pastrami burrito and I must say I was impressed. This was once Hot Skates or something like that. When I walked in it was like a more unique, less cliché Urban Outfitters… who also happens to sell skateboards. I loved the unqiue, one of a kind boutique style hand bags and accessories they were carrying and got a few pieces like a ring and two necklaces. I really liked the staff girl there. She was really helpful and I would visit again on a Sunday to shop till I drop with her.
