Every time I come here, I call in advance to make sure they have time, and every time I arrive, I am walked into a private room where I can enjoy my massage in peace and quiet rather than being in the room where people are constantly walking in and out of. The staff here is really nice and ask you where you’d like them to focus more attention on. Be warned though, pressure point massages can get quite painful!!! but it does the job. They make sure everything is good throughout the massage. It was a little difficult to find the first time I came here because I was new to the area and GPS was leading me to the middle of nowhere, but when I finally made it here it was one of the best massages I have ever received. I felt brand new and wish I could come here more often than I do as the prices here are slightly higher than what I am used to.

I love this place! It is absolutely the most stress relieving massage I have ever had! Very reasonable priced and clean location. The best part of Tokyo Shiatsu are the people. They are accommodating and very friendly. I would recommend(actually already have to many of my friends & family) this place in a heartbeat!

It was a different experience. So, maybe it was our fault for not knowing that Shiatsu is deep tissue, but that was not the problem. It is a small place, so keep your eyes open to find the place. I think it’s really weird that they were in a rush to massage us and get us out, firstly. Also, they did not require us to undress, which caused me to get a little bit of clothes burn and ruin my nice tee a little. It was decent for the fairly low price of $ 30 per hour. The masseuses were sweet ladies. My boyfriend’s masseuse was a little tough and mine was a little soft. Maybe just confirm with them what level of intensity you want before getting the massage. Not a bad place!

I have been to many good Shiatsu places both in Japan and in US. I may have a rotator cuff issue, and having a major pain. Ko and Kaori located my issue, and worked to relief my pain. It seems to work and my arm movements are back, and I am working on exercises that they showed me to improve my arm movements. I will go back for additional treatments.

I love this place! Ko and his staff are very friendly. My massages are always on point. I make sure to tell them where my problem areas are and they work their magic. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Massage was good and my therapist was nice . Only thing I wanted to complain, Someone was Talking so loud! One of the employee was training a new therapist and she was talking so loud I couldn’t relax for first 30min. I had to listen to her life story for good 30min Very unprofessional. Good price but no more for me. I rather pay more and go somewhere else quiet.

Tokyo Shiatsu is an amazing value. $ 30/hr for a massage is hard to find in Orange County, but here, you get so much for your money. Ko is amazing. Request him if you can for a thorough massage that is unbeatable at this price.

Good massage for a good deal! I didn’t catch the lady’s name that massaged me but she did a good job & she was friendly. I called an hour or 2 beforehand to set an appointment & got the $ 30 special.

I’m so happy that I found this place! $ 30/hr, $ 45 for an hour and a half. This place is no joke! I’m the kind of person that needs very deep pressure, and I’ve never walked out of here disappointed. I prefer seeing the males, but the females do a great job as well. It’s always quiet, clean, and professional. No need to worry about things getting weird here(I’ve had some kinda creepy experiences at other places) heck you leave your clothes on here. I’ve actually held off on leaving my review for selfish reasons; I love that I can almost always get an appointment the same day!

I didn’t come here for while and it’s way better than when Ko open the store. More powerful staff. They asked us what’s kind of pressure and problems I have. I had lower back pain from long driving so I requested strong pressure and my friend ask light pressure and they chose us the right therapist. They said«our therapist has different style so try everybody«I had LaLa and Ko last time so I had Michi, she is good and She used cream on my neck, she adjusted pressure for me. She work so hard on my back and wow my lower back feel so much better. My friend had Mia he said she did good stretch and light soft touch. I have a chance to come back here next month so I will try another lady.

When it comes to price and quality of massage, Tokyo Shiatsu gets five stars on both accounts. The Husband and I were looking for a post-dinner foot massage after a long day on our feet. Unfortunately, most of the foot massage places in the Anaheim area close after 9 p.m. and/or have shady pricing structures(I’m looking at you $ 15 Massage«Gold Spa» in Anaheim). We were lucky enough to find Tokyo Shiatsu after a quick Unilocal search in the parking lot of $ 15 Massage. Although we got to business around 10:15 p.m.(the location closes at 11 p.m.) the staff were able to accommodate us as walk-ins and gave us the full hour-long massage. (Note that the location doesn’t always take walk-ins, and appointments are strongly encouraged.) The masseuses first turn on soothing Zen music and a tiny water fountain, and ask you to lie face-down fully clothed on a standard style massage table. They can concentrate on any problem areas if requested, however, my impression is that they also try to work common problem areas in addition to your specific requests. Both masseuses seemed friendly, were very attentive, and would check in with us to see if the massage pressure was OK. They were also able to, at least temporarily, soothe any problem areas, and both the Husband and I oozed out the front door when our massages were done. The location may not be the easiest to find as it is not visible from Tustin Road. Google Maps will lead you to the appropriate strip mall, but what you see from the street is just the front of the business location. You actually have to go further back on the property and drive into the tiny traffic circle. You should see the location for Tokyo Shiatsu. I would definitely recommend Tokyo Shiatsu, especially if you’ve spent the day at area theme parks or malls. Even though it’s a short drive away from the Disneyland area, the professionalism and prices of their services are definitely worth the drive.

Have been looking for a while for a new massage place as I can seemingly never be satisfied by any price nor quality of massage haha. And most massage places I’ve been are pretty inconsistent at best. Well in my price range I luckily located this place and had it bookmarked for a while I was willing to try a new style of massage and it was time where my knots were beginning to add up. Don’t like footsie massage places, if I wanted to rub my feet I’d go to Brookstone and some have very shady qualifications… don’t have money for high end massage places but still want some privacy and high quality treatment for my ailments, aches, and pains. Called them for an appointment on a Sat. morning and they easily fit me in for 11am, one hour treatment for the advertised price of $ 30, which is around $ 50 if you walk in without an appointment. Bit confusion on the phone as she told me they don’t take card, which I was having trouble hearing after two tries, so I brought cash and card just to be safe. Showed up a couple of minutes late because it’s a bit hard to find from the street, but no worry they were still able to easily accommodate me. With little explanation, she told me to remove all my personal belongings from pockets and asked if I had any injuries. Nothing I could think of, so I proceeded to lay down on the table as explained. Halfway through, they instruct you to, then at the end you pay and they offer you water and tea. The environment is very quiet and serene and you could actually fall asleep if you’re not careful. There are two rooms with two beds in each room, as far as I could tell. So it’s not private but it’s small enough that you’re not overly concerned with privacy. They have other choices like a 90-minute massage, but I wasn’t too interested in this as it was my first time, and an hour is usually more than enough treatment for me for one day. What’s different about this place is: a) it’s clothed and b) you’re rubbed through a thin sheet, rather than bare skin with oil. Neither of these are bad, even if it takes some getting used to the first time. I highly suggest wearing ultra-thin clothes if you can, as it will only aid in your massage. I didn’t know this going in, but it didn’t detract as much as I expected. Shiatsu is pretty much a fingertip pressure(Japanese) massage, but they occasionally use other parts of their hand or arms to work on you. In general you can adjust the pressure or the areas that they’re focusing on, which is nice. Overall it’s a very positive and relaxing experience, not to mention therapeutic. The woman performing my massage was the main lady there, I guess her name is Ko judging by what everyone says. But everyone says all the massage therapists there are good, so I’d try whoever they set me up with. Can’t wait to go back again and give them more of my business.

I was highly recommended to visit this place by our good friend’s Christopher H. and Giovanna C. They raved on how kind the owners were and what a great deal we’d receive on getting an hour long Shiatsu massage(which was authentic and thorough). They were right! Amazing service, great deal($ 30 for a hour long massage + pressure point + foot massage). It was so good that I dozed off a few times and my brother was snoring through half his massage LOL. We will definitely be back and bring our friends too! The highlights of the process: — Sign in and wait to be called in(call in to make an appointment to receive 50% off) — You lay(fully clothed) on a table, which is quite comfortable — Your massage therapist will cover you with a sheet and begin massaging your lower and mid back, then your upper back, neck, arms and legs(in that order) — He/she will turn you over and begin massaging your scalp and upper shoulders leading to your upper thighs and legs. — You will have your legs bent in comfortable positions to help stretch your back too — When the massage is about to conclude, they’ll help you up half way so you’re sitting and give you a nice stretch and pats to further relax you — He/she will bring you a cup of cold water for you to sip and then the session concludes. Please do try this place!

KO is pretty awesome. I get massages monthly and am pretty picky. He is detailed in his bodywork and really works hard to knots out. The place is set up like those Chinese cheap massage places, but the therapists are infinitely better. They are actually trained professionals who do deep work instead of ones that just knead you randomly on top of your clothes. Best $ 30 ever spent. I was skeptical since I usually like oil massages only, but this place is different. Plan to come back regularly!

This is definitely a hidden gem of Orange. I found this place when Unilocaling and gave them a call. Teresa picked up the phone and she said she could take me in an hour later. Cool! This place is very clean and organized. However their restroom is located outside, at the right corner of the building. It’s not quite convenient; but given the size of the facility, I think having an outside restroom is understandable. As I’m petite, Teresa put moderate pressure on my neck and back. I really loved when she released the tension on my scapular muscles and lower back. Her techniques were amazing. This was one of the best massage I ever had. I enjoyed the whole experience. But there was one thing I didn’t like. During the massage, Teresa left for like 1 minute to receive a call from a customer(since no one else was there)… I’d give this place 5 stars if she hadn’t picked up the phone. Will I come back to have more massage? Yes!(Please just don’t pick up your phone when giving me a massage.)
