Sunday afternoon in the circle. took my mom out for coffee and gelato at Lucca… on our stroll back to the car we passed by this shop and immediately stepped in. I have a niece and nephew who I love to spoil. We were immediately greeted by the staff and were told that they are having a sale this week on all shoes and apparel. It’s all 40% off, clearing out for the spring line… children’s clothing have«spring lines?»…So, we start to look about and I fell in love with a few things that were normally out of my price range. I bought a Harajuku Lovers thermal for my niece, and my mom bought a couple of outfits for them as well. This store is really nice and the clothes are fun. But the regular prices they sell their products are insane. I’ll stick to Target for now.

I don’t have kids, but I am an uncle 7 times and have lots of friends with kids. I’m always having to pick up gifts and I’m glad I found Two Little Monkeys while walking the Orange Circle today. I popped in because the name caught my eye. Great name for a kid’s store. There’s a lot of merchandise packed into this place. Clothes, toys, games. All very cleanly arranged. There were 4 or 5 shoppers in the store at the time and they were all being helped by a lone salesperson. She inquired if she could help me then left me alone when I said I just popped in because the store name caught my eye. As I headed towards the door to leave she thanked me for stopping in. I’ll be back soon for the next gift I have to buy.

Ok, my husband always beats me to all the reviews because he HOGS(oink oink) the computer so I usually feel redundant and don’t feel like reviewing a place after he’s done it already. But I Liked this place so much, I thought I had to write one for it. The place is adorable to begin with, with a cute monkey door mat at the very front of the store, and the hard wood floors and the attractive lighting. Everything is colorful and pretty. The first things I see, that catch my eye is the Harajuku Lovers children’s line. Adorable! I don’t even know what I’m having(boy or girl), but I had to buy something regardless of that fact. I first found this adorable racerback tank top with cute little Geisha girls on it and cherry blossoms, I wish they had it in adult sizes too. Then I saw these onesies that were so colorful and retro looking, also from Harajuku Lovers and bought that because it seemed to be unisex enough. Blue with all kinds of bright colors of food and words. My kid will be styling and he/she isn’t even born yet. I have to admit the stuff isn’t cheap, but I couldn’t resist. It’s basically a kid’s boutique with name brand clothing. They did have quite a few stuffed animals, books, blankies etc to choose from too. Overall I love this store for all it has to offer, but I must admit this place is a once in a blue moon kind of place otherwise your kid will look fabulous and you will be broke.

Two little monkeys jumping on the bed. One fell off and bumped his head. Momma told the doctor and the doctor said, «No more monkeys jumping on the bed!» I’m assuming this place took its name from this nursery rhyme/children’s song. Or maybe the owner actually owns two little monkeys. Hmmm… This place is actually a new children’s store that recently opened up near the Orange Plaza/Circle. It’s right next to the Gallery on Glassell(an art gallery) and directly across the street from Café Lucca( ). The wife and I stopped by on Father’s Day afternoon for a look-see and were very pleasantly surprised by this place. This store stocks a lot of trendy, upscale baby couture clothing(e.g. — Kingsley, Pinc, Splendid Littles, Wild Mango, Ready Steady Go, tea Collection, Hurley, Cotton Caboodle, Mimi & Maggie, Charlie Rocket, and Harajuku Lovers), a great selection of children’s books, stuffed animals, toys, and some baby bling. As we walked through the store, we kept commenting on how cute/cool all the stuff was. I even fell in love with a magnetic monkey by the cash register… so I bought him and took him home! My wife ended up buying some Harajuku Lovers stuff(a onesie and a tank top) for our soon-to-be-born child. If you’ve got a relatively young kid in desperate need of a fashion makeover, you should definitely stop by this place. Or, if you have a fashion-forward child, bring him/her here for a new hip and chic outfit. The woman who helped us on this day was very nice and didn’t pressure us into buying anything. I really enjoyed this little shop and hope you do too! One little monkey jumping on the bed…
