Woman’s Club of Orange

I had my wedding here at the woman’s club of orange. It worked out perfectly with the church being on the same block and turned out beautiful. I was so glad it didn’t rain as the outdoor courtyard looked amazing with the lights and set up I did for the cocktail hour. Emily was extremely helpful and accommodated my schedule so I could come in on some days of to take a look and plan at the venue. I highly recommend this for a bride who is looking to DIY and bring in all her own stuff, you can make it really unique here!

This is a beautiful place to get married, too bad they have an unprofessional management team. Fortunately, I put aside all their BS and had a lovely day at my wedding! And nice try on trying to keep all my deposit!

I had my wedding here in August. It is a beautiful space with a lovely courtyard, however the service here isn’t great and the people who run it are unprofessional. They told me I was not allowed to have champagne bottles on the dinner tables yet the service people who the Women’s Club hired & recommended «forgot» to fill glasses during dinner for our toast so guests (including the bride & groom) were left toasting with water or beer. One of my guests even caught one of them eating the food before all guests had been served. They refused to cut the cake because they said they didn’t have any plates so I, the bride, walked outside to get them from the buffet (!!!) They stood around while my family and friends cleaned up afterwards and were rude to the other catering company and tried to take linens that didn’t belong to them. The staff member who runs the events was rude to my mom and extremely unprofessional when asked for information after the event. For the money there are other venues. But if you do decide to have your event here, definitely don’t use any of their «recommended» vendors or you’ll be sorry. I gave it 2 stars for the space itself and the fact that they let you start setting up the night before, which made it convenient for us.

Most of all this is a lovely non religiously affiliated venue for your wedding reception. You could even have your ceremony here, as well.
Personally, since my fiancé and I met square dancing, as the bride (but not bridezilla!), I want to include some fun basic square dancing at our reception. That means a good sized quality dance floor, not just a little square of thrown up mini dance floor like at the Elks lodges. This fits the bill elegantly.
