Friendly bartender, I’m not a big fan of the huge glass windows(not really what an Irish pub looks like) $ 3.50 a beer tons of parking space and they serve food. The costumers here seem to frequent the place as it’s all on a first name basis. Not bad at all.

Soo… I hadn’t been here in almost a year and decided to stop in for a drink the other night. I was in for a surprise… to say the least. First off, they are under new ownership and apparently plan to change their name. That’s cool. They did some renovations and put some fresh paint on the walls. That’s cool. What was NOT cool was the crowd. Some people seemed pretty chill, but the minute I saw some chick wearing a white supremacy sweatshirt it all clicked. Not exactly the most diverse crowd anymore. Most of the regulars that I was used to seeing have stopped going. After asking a few other patrons, my suspicions were confirmed. Very unfortunate, especially in today’s world, that people still find this type of blatant disrespect for humanity acceptable in a public forum, but hey, it’s Orangevale. With that said, I will not be returning. Sad, because I used to really like this spot. :/

This Tri-Tip Steak Sandwich might be the BEST in Sacramento! And the BEST I’ve ever eaten :) Denise knows how to BBQ a Tri-Tip on the smoker grille outside and the beer battered steak fries were awesome! I know where I’ll be going back to when I’m hungry!

Awesome place to have a great drink, play pool or darts. The prices are cheap, I can go there have a couple of beers without burning a whole in my pocket. The staff is friendly the regulars are welcoming even though they may seem on the«rough side.» Regans is not like what the reviews say it’s a good bar, prices are good, people are kind and I almost forgot they have a back patio where you can drink. I take my lunch break there sometimes and I have to say the steak is delicious!!!

I’ve been going to Regan’s since I turned 21 and it has never changed although the people do. I love Regan’s always feel at home when I am there and I always meet the coolest people. Great drink specials and well of course I love my bartenders! Thanks for everything Regan’s

Well, kinda crappy location right next to a walgreens, nothing to Irish about it. Music was way to loud for such a small place the bartender couldn’t hear my drink order. Bathrooms were closed. I opened a tab, the g/f and I ordered two beers played pool and decided to leave, the tab had to be a minimum of $ 10, which is pretty lame I would have tipped out the remaining $ 4 but a jack and coke cost $ 4… They didn’t deserve a tip or anymore of my time soo I downed my drink and took off! Wouldn’t really reccomend this place.

They have drinks, good food, pool tables and the staff have always been very nice. The other patrons are always friendly. If any of this will meet your needs at the time then Regan’s will do.

I have two questions for you. Do you like beer? Do you live within 20 minutes of Orangevale? Cool, go to Regan’s. Yes, it’s a hangout for locals. But, the locals are friendly, good, drunk conversationalists. They have a patio — always a win — and a couple of pool tables. There’s space to sit inside & out. The bar staff are friendly & a lot of fun. I had no problem getting served. The age is a range from young people to older folks, but universally, a pretty nice crowd.

It’s Orangevale! Very limited choices. What really sucks about this place is evrytime I have gone in there they have some awful loud speed metal playing in there. It’s so loud that it’s hard to hold a conversation. I love loud music. But so loud that you have to scream a drink order??? Really? Basically the other reviews are right. It’s not a charming little irish bar.

If your not expecting an actual Irish pub, it’s not a bad place. Guinness, is of course, one of their 17 beers on tap! Two pool tables, electronic darts, juke box, tv’s and a small menu from the kitchen. Typical mixed bar crowd consisting of: regulars, young folk, and few semi-normal looking folk like myself! If you find yourself in Orangevale, its not a bad spot to stop in and grab a pint!

There is nothing Irish about this bar. Very disappointing. Me and my lady friends came in, had a beer while we laughed at the terrible crowd and lack of Irishness, and then left. Thanks for the laugh.

Everything about this place says«hang out, have a decently priced beer and chat» except the fact that the music is so loud you can’t hear anything. What’s really odd to me is that it’s not just loud on a Saturday night, it’s loud on a Tuesday afternoon. Not being about to have a conversation without yelling directly into people’s ears gets old really fast– especially when you’re a pub, not a club.

The music blared at Regan’s Irish Pub that fair night when my gal pal and I ventured out to share beer and a laugh or two. The music blared on and on, friends. An older crowd of a half dozen or so mingled mutely. There was the biker couple, a few nondescript locals, and the little dude in a fire-engine red«Spank the Boy» t-shirt who was grooving to that blasting, loud music. They turned the tunes down a bit when we asked, but, no, no, no, don’t think that lasted long. The bartender, two sheets to the proverbial wind by 8 p.m.(apparently it was her birthday), kept cranking the music louder and shrieking«woo hoo» as though the phrase were going out of style. The beer is cheap, I’ll give it that. We drank our brew and promptly left for a better venue. If you go, be forewarned, Regan’s Irish Pub is neither Irish nor fabulous.

The have blue moon on tap. They have pool, darts and even dice. They have an outdoor patio for smokers… and drunks(not the cool, you’ve had a good night, but the damn you’re plowed and over sharing and driving home — on a tuesday night — type of drunks) and homeless people hanging around. So it’s local and chill and for $ 3.50 drinks(I’m use to Boston/NYC/DC prices) it’s good. And I like the hip-hop music that night =)
