Zero complaints!!! Was there last night for a few hours with my daughter. We had a great time! We ordered the Irish fries and some wings. Freshly prepared, prompt service! Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. I can only imagine what it’s like on game day, being across from the Ralph, but we had a pleasant experience!

I have visited O’Neills for several Bills home games. It is a bar that is geared towards the«young, party crowd.» If you’re looking for a bar to hang out at with a group of friends to watch the game, this is not the place to go. No complaints about the food or the prompt service & poise from the bartenders. We were asked to leave our table after paying our bill. When we were not fast enough, we were subsequently berated by a manager. Staff members/managers/owners were treating patrons as well as our own party with a downright lack of respect. We overheard staff bashing patrons amongst themselves. Our party felt humiliated and immediately left the establishment. While it seems O’Neills may be a great place to go on a regular, non-busy day, being treated with such hostility and disrespect will unfortunately keep me from ever returning. There is no excuse for the actions of the staff.

Buffalo Wing Soup!!! I saw this on the menu and had to try it. I’m so glad I did! It was awesome. If you stop by here, the soup is a must have. Service here was A-1. The bartender/waitress named Grace was impressive. She waited on us in the dining area while she was bartending and was extremely attentive and very friendly. I’m glad I stopped by here after my visit of Ralph Wilson Stadium. Good food, friendly staff. I will definitely stop by here again if I am in the area.

Most people know O’Neill’s as one of the places near the Ralph on home game Sunday’s — and, it is. But that’s not why I go there. There’s this place down the street from O’Neill’s, which everyone says has the best Buffalo Chicken Wing soup on WNY. That’s a lie. A bold faced lie. Fibbery. One night in December, snowflakes are falling the size of large mosquitoes and sure as shootin’, I get a flat right at the corner of Abbott. Lug nuts frozen and I say ‘eff this noise, I’m calling AAA. Park my car, walk in to O’Neill’s, order myself a Buffalo Tap Water(you know it as Labbatt Blue) and I try the soup. Now, I am one of those people who cringes every, time I hear someone make«Buffalo Wing» anything. I actually stop being friends with that person, because they deserve to live alone. Anywho — this might have been the best Buffalo Wing soup I’ve ever had. Huge chunks of chicken in a bowl the size of my face. Best flat tire I’ve ever gotten.

My Husband and I came here for lunch. He had the California chicken wrap & I had the O’Neill’s burger. I requested my burger be cooked medium. It was one of the most delicious burgers I’ve had and it was cooked perfectly! My husband’s wrap was absolutely delicious as well chocked full of tasty, tender chicken, guacamole, cheese & such. We both had a side salad instead of chips or fries which was also very good. Service was also excellent! It is quite loud however, which was not an issue for my husband and I but it may be if you have young children. We will definitely be back!

Bartender is a real friendly guy! Place was packed on a Saturday and I told him(joking) that it is wayyy too cold in here(12 °F outside). He gave my girl and another girl a shot of Grand Mariner comp. Cheers! Thank you.

The manager or owner lady is the most disgusting, classless thing. Went during a bills game and saw her verbally abuse a table of like 6 people. We are still sitting in here and will never return.

Had one of the greatest days of my life at this bar recently. Great crowd, great bartenders, great music it was just an awesome time. Came with friends after we decided it was too rainy and cold to sit at the game. We danced and sang all day long. The music was SO clutch, old school 80’s, some 90’s hits, all the good stuff. Plenty of screen to watch the game and an outside porch area with seats to hang out. We grabbed a high top table by the window, loaded our coats and bags on the table and nobody asked us to move our things when we walked away for a little while to dance, use the bathroom or go outside. The place was packed, but the bartenders were super attentive and fast with the drink orders. Super affordable too.

Reviewing the restaurant only. Pros: — Awesome menu selection, especially the lunch specials! — Portions are generous — we usually have leftovers. Very yummy homemade fries and chips come with most entrees. — Consistent food quality. We’ve eaten lunch here about 10 times and all but once the food was amazing. — Servers & bar staff are always friendly. — Very nice outdoor patio/dining areas. Cons: — Speed and quality of service can be hit or miss, it really depends on how busy it gets and whether only one person is manning the restaurant AND bar. Wouldn’t recommend this place for a quick stop. My husband hates having to hunt down a server for refills and this happens about 50% of the time. — Dining area can be quite cold and drafty in the winter. Had to eat with my jacket on once. We’re in Buffalo, turn up the heat!

Great food, great prices, friendly staff. The menu features interesting creations that separates this place from every other bar and grill.

After being rather rudely informed that the kitchen at Danny’s South was closed(following a Bills game), we headed up the street thinking we’d just grab something at Subway. To our surprise, O’Neill’s kitchen WAS open so we gave it a try. Service was friendly and very quick, beer was cold and good draft variety as well and the food was pretty tasty. Just had some food off the game day menu, pizza logs and beef on a weck… both were just what we were looking for and delicious! I’d come here again without hesitation!

Those who know me know that I do not hand out five star reviews lightly. O’Neill’s was a pleasant surprise after dining at some pretty divey places around Orchard Park. As someone who lived near the Ralph Wilson stadium for three years, I can’t believe I have only made it here AFTER I left Buffalo. O’Neill’s a tiny restaurant/bar on the corner of Abbott and Southwestern, but it’s amazing service and delicious food make up for its size. Dan(I think that was his name…) was friendly and awesome. He chatted with us and gave us recommendations on which food was good and the different beers on tap. He knew his product well and really made us feel as if we were regular customers. As for the food, everything I tasted here was great. I had the ‘Steak in the Grass’ and it was incredible. I’m usually very hesitant ordering anything with«steak» in it from a pub/restaurant, but O’Neill’s did not disappoint. The beef was a good cut and cooked to my specifications(rare). My other friends got a chicken salad, a cheeseburger, chicken wings, and fries, and they were also delicious and in large portions. The only hiccup we experienced was the lackluster appetizer sampler. When we received the mozzarella sticks most of the cheese had melted out of the stick, leaving us with a hallow breaded outside with no cheese. Upon seeing this though, Dan was quick to provide us with a replacement basket of all new mozzarella sticks AND allowed us to keep our old ones! I was really impressed with this level of customer service, and it convinced me that this place was legit. The other thing about this place that I like is the website. I know this is a minor detail, but a well-maintained website tells me the owner knows what he is doing. I weep when I think about how many times I went to Louie’s Red Hots, when I could have been going here all along. The next time I visit Buffalo, I will be sure to stop by. Pros: Amazing food, proximity to the Bills Stadium, low prices, friendly staff, off street parking Cons: The dining area is a bit small and dark. I wouldn’t come here with a super large group.
