I have been wanting to come here for a long time. I stopped in to grab something quickly. They had a huge selection of soups and offer free samples… score! I tried their chicken fajita soup and thought it was great. Since I was really craving a sandwich, I decided to pass on the soup and get the chicken Toscana sandwich. It was ok. I don’t think I would get just a sandwich there again. I think I will just stick with soup next time or get a combo.

Staff was very welcoming & the soup options challenging! I love FREE samples because I am a «thrifty» person so I freely admit sampling a few of the dozen options. Each sample was tasty and hot. The gentleman behind the counter told me that they change the soups offered daily(He told me how many soup recipes they have but I really wasn’t paying attention since I had to choose from today’s offerings only.). They offer half sandwich and soup or half salad and soup combo’s and that’s what I did. Lobster bisque and half a tuna sandwich. This is where the half disappointment begins. The woman taking my order asked what kind of roll I wanted with my soup. I said I was getting a sandwich and asked if there was another option. NOPE — Bread only. Come on … You are a national chain and I bet you can get a deal with an apple merchant or a tiny portioned fruit cup company … So muti-grained roll it is — blah — lots of bread! And, when I took my first bite of the tuna sandwich all I tasted was bread. Shouldn’t my first bite have me going mmmmm this tuna salad is oh so good but apparently the ZOUP folks like their breads. There was a minimal spreading of good tasting tuna salad covering ¾’s of the sandwich but it was truly more roll than sandwich according to the report my taste buds sent to me. The lobster bisque was yummy with chunks of meat. It was served nice and hot. So, my advice … Get the soup only because then the roll makes sense. They have soup for all tastes and on a cold winter day here in Orchard Park you can warm up with friendly service and hot soup … Just put the sandwich on hold.

I wish there were 5 more of these restaurants. What better than an awesome soup, great salads and sandwiches, great prices, friendly staff… it’s the cat’s pajamas. Come downtown– we need you badly for lunch!

Lots of different soups. I tried about 6 flavors and they were all very tasty. It’s a great place for lunch or a light dinner.

Why would anyone open a soup restaurant when they make such terrible soups? They let me taste test several but they were all pretty terrible. I finally ordered the broccoli cheddar without taste-testing, thinking no way could they screw that one up. But it was pretty bad too. I love soup, and perhaps I’m too much of a soup snob, but this place was such a disappointment. To be fair, I never tried the sandwiches or salad. I did go back, but the ladies ahead of me couldn’t make their mind up about anything(there are lots of options to go with your lunch) and I tired of waiting. One person behind the counter is not enough!

Fantastic place! I am now a card carrying frequent flyer. Love how I can place an order online. I look forward to it heading to the northtowns

Won’t be back. I make better sandwiches at home every day. Slimy deli roast beef, yellow American processed cheese, wilted lettuce, drippy«mayo». Terrible. Chili served lukewarm and very bland. Just as costly as Panera, but none of the quality.

I had a coupon for a free 8oz. soup of my choice and a hunk of bread so after getting groceries, I stopped in. The place looked nice and clean, everyone was very friendly and there was no attempt at an up-sell with the coupon. I chose the lobster bisque and I had my choice of white, wheat or whole grain bread with it. I chose the wheat but had to wait a minute or two to wait for it to finish baking. Yes, they bake all the bread right there, ovens right in front where you can see them. The bisque was served at just the right temperature, not scalding hot nor cold and the bread was quite large and obliviously warm. They also have salads and sandwichzs which looked great from what I could see. The menu has some interesting choices. I think I’ll go back for the veggie-terranean sandwichz soon. The soup menu changes dailt and you can sample any before purchasing it.

Notice to the owner of this Franchise… I was in there tonight, 8⁄22 at 7:10pm to order a cup of take out soup. There were 5 people behind the counter and only one of them was working, the young man. The 4 girls were talking to each other and pretty much ignoring me the customer. There were 2 orders ahead of me, both eat in. All I ordered was a cup of soup to go. I stood there and observed the girls gossiping away while the young man worked on all 3 orders. All I could think of was if I owned this Franchise I would be furious. You need to train your employees A LOT more and unfortunately need to be present A LOT more. The soup was good, but I only rated you a 2 because of the very poor service.

Cute little restaurant which offers up soups, salads and sammies. They also do combo’s a la Panera. I had the«Try2» combo, Italian Veggie soup and the Summer berry salad. I also took advantage of the«soup upgrade» option to bring the soup size to that of a bowl. What can I say, I’m a soup hound. Lunch cost me just short of $ 10.00. The soup was filling and oh so tasty! The salad was perfectly put together with various greens, fresh blueberries and strawberries, toasted almonds and fresh mozzarella. Raspberry vinaigrette was the dressing. Perfection. The coolest — I ordered online. Sometimes online ordering is iffy however this was perfection! Got an order number, a time to pick up and I also had the option of paying via credit card. Got an email confirmation of all of this. I elected to pay cash so when I arrived I noticed my cute carry-out bag had been marked«not paid». Easy for the staff. When I arrived home and checked out the actual goods I noticed my name, confo number and pick up time on each container. Computer generated!!! OOOH! There was also a master sheet indicating how many items were to be packaged thus eliminating the need for me to rifle through my bags to determine how many items I had been shorted. I also failed to mention that the soup came with a yummy sour dough roll! I’m a fan and I know now where my next lunch will be from! Oh, and they a buyers club card — 8 TryTwo meals and you get one free!

The place is a cross between a Chipotle and Panera… three combo meals came to 30 $. Soups were tasty and had good flavor. There was a great, varied selection of soups so you are bound to find something you like. Sandwiches could use a lot of help. Hot Turkey and cheese on bread. They could attempt to dress the sandwiches, but they were served pretty basic. Bread seemed fresh…
