I pulled my back moving some furniture, so I decided that was a good excuse to get a massage. I called on a Monday morning, and made an appointment with Kimberly for the next day. She gave me a combination massage so she could really work my back and also give me a relaxing massage. It was amazing! By the next day, my back felt a million times better! She even sent me a card in the mail thanking me for coming in! I am definitely a regular now! I’m so happy to have found an amazing spa in the area!

I’ve been going to Insparations pretty much since it opened. Always a great experience. The staff is top notch. And massage therapist Kim H is very skilled! She is also flexible with her schedule and professional! I highly recommend Kim. Seriously, book with her now!

After moving to the area about seven months ago I began looking for a new place to get all of my beauty things done at. I started at insparations with just a massage with Kim. She is excellent and obviously has very good training. I noticed one day while checking out that they also offer waxing services here. After a few months of going to someone I was never really happy with, I decided I would try here instead. I scheduled an appt with Elena for a Brazilian. I was so pleased with the results! She was very thorough and also clearly had wonderful training! Plus their prices are super reasonable for the quality of work that they do! I’ve never had my hair done here but that is the next thing on my list to try with them! To me, it’s very obvious that they only hire very well trained and experienced specialists. I highly recommend!

Great spa services! I get my Brazilian waxing done here, massages, and microdermabrasion. Super clean and gentle. Everyone’s so nice and pleasant and the prices are very affordable. I love the great deals they have sometimes. It gives myself a reason to pamper myself more often! Ask for Rene! :)

I came in to Insparations on Thursday evening to recieve a Facial with Renee, and a Deep Tissue Massage with Alli. Both ladies were prepared, and very professional. I appreciated them both being on time, and I have recommended them both to at least 10 people. This will be my new monthly treatment.
The European Facial was very relaxing, and I didn’t want to fall asleep, but I may have.
The Massage helped me with some hip/​knee nerve issues I have been experiencing.

No complaints about my experience at InSPArations. I came here a couple weeks ago for a haircut and a manicure prior to starting a new job. My stylist, Janelle, took about 5″ off and gave me a fabulous, low-​maintenance cut. She was very communicative throughout the whole process.
I had a spa manicure done by Melissa, which was incredibly relaxing. The exfoliating salt (?) scrub was a nice touch, and the manicure lasted for just under two weeks.
Prices were fairly competitive for the area, and the atmosphere was homey and a little more down-​to-​earth than a lot of day spas. I’ll be back!

Loved the atmosphere everyone is so hospitable! After a bad experience at another salon Pauline Halop was helpful and sweet enough to fit me into her schedule to fix my hair. Her experience and professionalism along with quality hair product saved my hair and was amazing I felt so much better after I left her salon!

It’s an adorable little place in Old Orcutt and nice to have something local for those days when you want to treat yourself. I have been in a few times for different treatments and it has been wonderful.
The last facial I had wasn’t that great, I wish I could recall her name, because I don’t want her again. She was too rough on my skin and pulled it back and forth like taffy. It wasn’t easy to relax or enjoy myself, but everyone else I have been to over there was great!
I will definitely go back and not just because its local and convenient.

I had an AMAZING prenatal massage! It was a relaxing environment with soft music and a waterfall in the background. They had a belly pillow! It is the first time in 6 mos that I have been able to lay on my stomach! When the massage was over they gave me ice water with a frozen strawberry in it. The massage is well worth every penny.

I get my hair cut by Michele. She is awesome. I have been happy with ALL of my haircuts by Michele. Have you ever got your hair cut and then felt like your stylist barfed on you because she told you all her personal drama? Have you ever wished your stylist would just shut up so you could relax? You won’t feel that way when Michele cuts your hair! MIchele is classy, encouraging and warm. I look forward to chatting with her as much as I look forward to getting a haircut. The salon is beautiful, clean and inviting. It is located in charming old Orcutt. I feel safe walking to my car when I leave after a late appt. Insparations is at the top of my list!

I initially had a hard time finding this location, because I was unfamiliar with the area. The salon/​spa is inside what looks to be an old Victorian home-​turned business. The interior is very modern and inviting. While waiting, the staff (ALL of them, not just the receptionist) was so friendly and eager to offer a drink while waiting (wine, tea, or water). I came here for a prenatal massage with Kim, and was very pleased with her professionalism and techniques; it’s apparent that she enjoys her job! Another plus, is that the sound of the salon is buffered out pretty well on the spa side. I’ll not only return for a massage, but I’m eager to try out their other services, as well! So glad I found this gem in the middle of unknown territory!

I’ve been to Insparations for 2 massages now, and will definitely go back. I was even able to get in the same week, which was great! It’s an adorable little place in Old Orcutt, with parking on site (mind you, I’m use to San Francisco, where there is no parking for anything). When I walked in, I was offered yummy strawberry water and had a great hour long massage by Jaylynn. The swedish massage was perfect for my sensitive body, I bruise easily and rather enjoy the massage than find it painful, plus, I didn’t have too many knots to work out this time. Next time I may not pay the extra $ 10 for aromatherapy; I just didn’t feel it was quite worth it — I think the lavender was just used twice as it was sort of waved over my nose so I could inhale it. and while I love lavender, I can get that at home.
All in all, great, I felt like butter afterwards, and went home to melt into the couch with water and a book. I’ll definitely be back.

I went in for a pedicure a few months ago. The staff is very friendly. The procedure was very clean and the girls in the shop are enjoyable to talk wtih. It was a good spa experience.
