I’ve been buying from Shy Ann for a little while now, and every time in is a pleasant experience. Staff is quick to work with me to find just what we need. We’re on a special diet boycotting grains, legumes, dairy, sugar and alcohol. Given that information, they were able to custom-tailor an order to our needs; keeping us compliant with our program through nitrate and additive-free meats that are fresh, and taste delicious. Seriously, if you’re in the area and haven’t given them a try yet, stop in and check out their retail shop. Phil has exceeded my expectations, and I’ll be a customer of Shy Ann for a long time to come!

I must admit that the chicken apple sausages are the best I’ve ever tasted, and their jalapeño pepperoni is fantastic. I think the summer sausage is a bit on the salty side, tho. We took in 17lbs of venison & elk burger to have made into summer sausage & pepperoni & came out with only 10 lbs — the math isn’t working for me and we were a bit disappointed. BUT! It is really worth the trip out to the far side of OC. And they have farm fresh eggs, too.

Beef jerky! I could live on the stuff. The jerky here is nothing like those overpriced, bland leather strips you get at the grocery store. The jerky here is like a big hunk of dried, bust still mildly juicy, deliciously seasoned steak. Their jerky comes in teriyaki, tabasco, Cajun spice, black pepper flavors and more. They also have a nice selection of pepperoni, sausage, and cut of meat. This is a great little butcher shop on the edge of the middle of nowhere that I stop at whenever I’m in my old stomping grounds of Oregon City. I really want some Cajun spice jerky now. *stomach growls*
