This place hires a bunch of thirsty dogs, i was buying some steak when a lady was also there, two of the staff were verbally sexually harassing the girl without hesitation not caring to stop after the girl told them multiple times, the girl was blushing stepped away from them and aaked the«girl» cashier there to speak to the manager, she told her that he wasn’t here and she suffers from this treatment like that all the time, shame shame shame this place is in oregon a city fir families, these trashy guys do not belong here! Will never step a foot here again and will spread the word about this horrible staff!

Who doesnt like a good steak? If you’re like me and have a jones for a good steak it doesnt get much better than House of Meats. I’m a meat snob. I used to work in a meat dept in one of Toledo’s finest stores. I was taught in the course of my employment what to look for in a steak, and what not to look for. Price is not one of them. You have to spend money to get good meat. Or so I thought. House of Meats routinely puts NY Strips on sale for 3.99 for an 8 oz steak, and the nice thing is you can buy only one, or you can get a pile of them. They come with optional seasoning added free, of course. If you want something more they offer the 16 oz for a mere sawbuck. They also have a full line of chicken, but like the place I used to work they don’t do fish. Trust me, you’ll never miss it. Lastly, any meat market can give you good meat, that is if they’re worth their salt. House of Meats has one thing going for them that few places can offer. People. Their people are friendly and eager to help. Need a suggestion? They’re right there with about 1000 ways to cook what you just bought. They have a line of groceries, not a whole lot, but stuff you may need to make your dinner a winner. I will drive miles for a Lee Williams steak. Even from Detroit. That says a lot.
