Hair Connection

I’ve been coming to Julia (owner) for over 15 years. I have tried other hair stylist for one reason or another and have always come back to her. I’ve learned the hard way not to let anyone else touch my hair. I’ve had all sorts of hair styles done. Recently I went blonde and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments about my hair. Not to mention I do have lots of it and long. I love Julia!
I recommend this place to anyone that asks me. You do have to call with time to get an appointment or you do run the risk of not being able to get in because of how busy they are. (They’re that good!)

Amazing service, not only do I do my hair there, but is it diverse but also professional. I can get any type of cut and the staff is always amazing. I can always count on them for styling.

My girlfriend is Dominican which means her hair is very particular and few salons can wash and straighten her hair properly. She needs the huge curlers after a wash. She then sits under a hair dryer and then has it straightened with brush and blow dryer. We would love to find an alternative location. Most salons will use a flat iron to do the job but that kills her hair.
My girlfriend is pretty content with the final product and has it done every two weeks, though she would prefer to have it done once a week.
Problems: scheduling seems to be a bigissue the majority of the time here. The place seems poorly run. Phone calls are not returned so if you don’t speak to someone when you call you won’t, unless you call back and get a live person. All Apts go through the owner– on a number of occasions we spoke to stylist to make an appointment and she was double booked because she didn’t tell the owner (who may not answer calls during business hours nor return your call). One time we booked with stylist for 7pm. Owner said stylist was busy until 7:30. Came at later time and stylist had left… No phone call, heads up, or any respect for our time. She did apologize and said it wouldn’t happen again. No apology discount for out time?
Summary: if you are Latin and need your hair done by another latin this may be your best option. Be prepared to spend more time and headache than you want. If you know of another place near Provo/​Orem… Please tell me.
If you are not Hispanic: I don’t see any benefit of coming here. Find another place to go!
