look at this. mixed martial arts in utah??? what??? that’s right! not only that world submission wrestling champion ricky lundell is the instructor here. they also teach judo here as well as wrestling.
ricky is such a scientific and detailed instructor. and even though he’s young, he is old school as far as jiu jitsu basics and warm ups. that altitude is high for people used to sea level so its a great blast to your cardio.
i think ricky musta choked me out 100 times. it was fantastic! this is a really great place to train, and people actually roll slow and smooth here. i didn’t get hurt here at all. wait though their mats are kind of hard and i had bad knees so wear knee pads if you have to.
i learned so much from ricky while i was there. hes a lil jiu jitsu phenom. the place is in a strip mall, clean, lots of space, and they also rent it out to a guy who teaches korean sword fighting.

oh yeah i was also able to watch the ufc with my new jiu jitsu friends!
