We waited for over an hour and a half to be seated when they gave us an estimate of 45 minutes. It was my husband’s birthday and they said they don’t give out birthday desserts. And the lobster was overcooked. Also do not do any discount for active military.

Today I ordered the large salmon from the fresh fish menu. I usually order the wood grilled shrimp, salmon and lobster tail, but I’m trying to eat better. My wife has ordered the salmon before and said it was really good, so I gave it a try! I ordered the salmon with pineapple habanero, because I like spicy food. I knew it wasn’t going to burn because this is a mainstream place. The sauce was sweet and spicy. Perfect! The waitress said the large salmon would be about 10 – 12 oz it was closer to the 10oz. My meal was great the salad and entrée came out in good time, but the cheddar bay biscuits came out right before the entrée. I hate that! My sister in law ordered the snow crab legs and she ate half her order before someone came to check on everything so she could ask for butter. It should have came out with butter. And she had to eat them kinda fast so the meat would come out easily before it gets cold. Over all the Orem Red Lobster is always good.

They need SECRETSHOPPER at this particular location; service is very poor; second time in a row that service has been less than even average. Asked for a napkin, they bring out what appeared to be bathroom hand wipe towels(paper); not their regular stock of napkins; I’ll skip this RL location and find seafood else where. Once we waited 35 minutes and were told«it is a Tuesday PM and we weren’t expecting a crowd» Really ??? we finally went to Carabba’s and had excellent service.

My family loves this place, best service ever from Gary! Request him for attentive service, great suggestions and a down right positve vibe.

I am a frequent visitor here. The service and food sometimes vary. I think it’s just like any other restaurant with peak serving times. Most recently the crab legs were the best I’ve had in several months. They didn’t have water pouring out of them it was just right. Kudos to the cook! The service is different each time. They generally like to take care of you as much as they can. I’ve sat there waiting for my glass to be refilled, we all have. All in all, it’s a favorite place of mine. The staff and management are generally very kind. I will be back!

I ordered the endless shrimp and the food was good. Their service was terrible. Seriously! We have been here for almost three hours, most of the time was spent just waiting. I am surprised that an establishment like this wouldn’t have better service. Very disappointing! On a side note, I did like their garlic shrimp scampi. :) I am pretty sure I will never be coming back though. :/

The weight was much longer than I would have liked both to receive my food and throughout my visit but I can’t complain about the food. The biscuits were mind-blowing and the salmon was to die for. I can’t wait to go back in and try something new!

Excellent food! I always get the lobster tail and it never fails me! Delicious from the start. The waiters are always upbeat and great! Highly recommended

Good food for the quality, as always. Not the best, but again for the price you can’t get much better. I love the shrimp plates and some of the simpler(less saucy) fish plates!

So impressed!!! The food was amazing…(Still thinking about the cheddar bay biscuits) and so was the service! The very sweet waitress, Ashley, was helpful and very attentive. Her recommendations were spot on! There was a mixup with our order and it was taken care of so quickly! The manager came out and told us to start on the food we had… and the other would be out quickly… Aka Free lobster! It is so nice to have a restaurant that takes care or their patrons! We will definitely back! Thank you Red Lobster, for taking care of my husband, my baby and me on our date night!

The ultimate feast was okay tonight but not as good as normal. We walked right in, but apparently it’s hard to get seated on the weekends. A little expensive for tonight’s food, but normally I don’t mind paying $ 75 for two people.

Well despite all the picky eaters that rated lower, I liked this place. Going to Red Lobster is a rare treat(being college students will do that), and I enjoy it very much. We went during lobster fest, and I got the dish that came with a split lobster tail, crab, shrimp, and scallops. Yes we are in Utah and it will never be as good as a location right on the coast, but I think it was good considering. Our waiter was a little… strange. He kept trying to crack jokes that were just plain weird, but was quick to get our food to us.

This red lobster is a good example for the chain to use for a standard. It’s clean(bathrooms were clean too), service is timely, and food meets expectations. I had the four course feast-$ 15.99+tax and a Dr Pepper-no ice. I started with the clam chowder and a dinner salad topped with blue cheese. It’s a good clam chowder and was served hot-but not too hot. The salad was cool and crisp and tasted as you would expect a salad to taste. The entrée was the shrimp and salad linguini. The pasta was cooked just how I like it-about three minutes past al dente. The shrimp and scallops were well complimented by the lemon butter sauce and the chiffonade basil. The tomatoes rounded it out. For dessert, key lime pie. It was served with a decorative berry coulis and was a competent piece of pie. If I would’ve known I’d have extra room, I’d’ve eaten a few more of their cheddar bay biscuits-nice and fluffy with a buttery cheese accent. It’s not the best of anything I’ve ever had, but it was rather good.

Service by our waitress was great. She was right there with what we needed. The seating was a little slow. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and they were almost empty. We went here for a birthday and it was the birthday girls choice. I would not pick a chain place. The food was okay. Typical red lobster. The cheddar biscuits were over cooked. The waitress was great though and the ladies enjoyed the lava cookie with ice cream. If you want seafood go to a place by the ocean.

RUBBERYLOBSTER! Bless their hearts, they can’t cook lobster. It came out SORUBBERY, we sent it back and it wan’t any different. Other things are ok, but generally overcooked.

Pretty good! In general, I wouldn’t order seafood in a landlocked state, but if you’re aching for some really standard, generic seafood, or maybe just the delicious cheese biscuits, then Red Lobster is the way to go. Overpriced, to be sure, but they have to cover shipping in the seafood somehow, I suppose. Wouldn’t go back if I had to pay. .. except for maybe for those cheese biscuits. ..

Red Lobster is as good as it gets for seafood in Orem Utah! We love their ranch salad dressing and their Biscuits. I haven’t tasted any better. Their seafood is good. I’m a Big fan of the Coconut Shrimp. The Pasta dishes I’ve had are good. My friend had the chicken Alfredo and said its one of the best he’s ever had. Sure it’s not like eating at a Seattle or San Francisco Seafood restaurant but remember we are in Orem. Enjoy it for what its worth!

Everyone so often Red Lobster lures me in with the promise of freshly prepared and delicious seafood… but sadly when I take the bait I am rarely satisfied. Red Lobster soaks their shrimp in enough butter to drown a man and give you a helluva gut bomb to boot. Sure their cheese biscuits are great but man cannot live in bread alone. I’ve tried several dishes at Red Lobster trying to find something that I really like and sadly I just strike out every time. It’s too bad too because my wife really loves Red Lobster. Maybe our tastes in seafood are just different? I don’t know…

How did this place get only one review before I got here. Oh yea, this is Orem. We don’t eat fish. That’s gross. I understand this is the only Red Lobster in the country with no bar area at all. Oh yea, this is Orem. Bars are gross. I’ve eaten at too many Red Lobsters. This is one of the better ones. They don’t over cook the shrimp and snow crab. I haven’t ventured too deep into the fresh fish. I don’t trust them for that. When you bring a bottle of wine, it becomes a big deal. You do it twice, they remember you. I don’t dine here a lot, but when I do – I know what to expect and they do a really decent job of it.

Staff was disorganized. It took forever to get seated even though tables were open all over the place. A dining experience that should have taken 1 hour took 2 ½… Food was Dead Lobster food: same as everywhere… but I do love those cheesy biscuits… ;)
