Dr Gelbart could not be more highly trained or evolved. He is a «regular» guy yet quite professional. He is seasoned, and can really help get to what is needed quite quickly. Having shared a couple of clients, I know, first hand, their experience with Dr. Gelbart and they all speak very highly of him and of their growth by going to him. I have sent family members to him, and in all cases he helped tremendously. As far as the cost, many times insurance is used, but the out of pocket cost is no higher than anyone else with his training and experience.

Still seeing Dr. Gelbart regularly, and my sessions with him are definitely as good as they started out, possibly even better now that we know each other better. My mental health has improved a lot in the months I’ve been going to him, and we still have a way to go, but I have made lots of progress with his help. We also sometimes talk about academic stuff, like how medication works or what is going on with my brain and body from a medical perspective.
I recommend checking out his website (I think it’s listed here?) for some background on him, personally and professionally. It’s quite interesting.
