Wagner Ranch Elementary School

I’d suggest you pick a different school in Orinda to send your children to. Many families have had difficulties with the principal and even though there are some good teachers, the climate is terrible.
It is pretty — but its not enough.

located in the less-​developed nook of Orinda, Wagner Ranch was refurbished and reopened in the 90’s to accommodate a growing elementary school-​age population.
from what i can recall the teachers were awesome, the school had plenty of resources (probably the best elementary school library in the district), and everyone knows that northern Orinda is the best part of town (just LOOK at those hills). there’s a lot of playgroundy stuff, and a lot of the local sports leagues use the school’s fields, obviously because they’re the best.
OH and the nature area. awesome neighboring foresty area where students are taught about local area history and some ecology. makes the school unique and more awesome (to me, at least)
