American Mattress

Do not shop at this location. Tony will take your money and not deliver your product. You are better off working with another American Mattress location with trust-​worthy customer service.
I went to another American Mattress location and was quickly helped and totally satisfied with the customer service.
I placed an order with Tony over the phone for delivery of a mattress for our guest room in a house my boyfriend and I just purchased. He helped me find a good a bed, a great deal and assured me that the bed would be delivered next day between 9 and noon.
9 to noon comes and goes, I call Tony again to ask where the mattress is. He explained that the «warehouse» messed up my order and that all of the delivery trucks were full for the day and that I would not not receive it until Thursday. I asked Tony for his last name to confirm he was the rep that initially helped me, he refused to give it to me. When I asked if there were deliveries later in the day he said no and that the only thing he could do would be to cancel my order and refund my money. When I explained to him that I would like American Mattress to keep the business (I like that they are locally/​family owned) he said there was nothing else he could do other than cancel the order. When I asked if there was a supervisor I could speak with he refused to tell me who I could speak to.
When I asked for a refund after he offered no other other solutions he took my credit card number again and said he would fax me the receipt. I never get a receipt or a fax. I go to another American Mattress to find out what the deal is, turns out American Mattress doesn’t deliver on Wednesdays EVER and that Tony never cancelled my order. He lied to me so his boss wouldn’t know he messed up (which is fine everyone makes mistakes but don’t LIE over and over again) AND he wasted hours of my time. He also yelled at me and called me rude when I told him that this was not the way to do business.

I recently purchased a mattress that just was not working for me, I consistently had lower back pain and tossed and turned all night on this new mattress. By the end of the 30 day waiting period i just had to get rid of the mattress. The sales rep Tony S. was very helpful when I first bought my mattress and even more helpful in the return process. The exchange process was pretty simple, it took less than an half hour and now my new mattress is on the way. I would recommend the sales rep Tony S. he is very knowledgeable and professional. He gets the job done! Thanks Tony for all your help!!!

We recently purchased our 3^rd mattress from American Mattress. We did a lot of research and price shopping before we found this wonderful place! Trust me, they have the BEST PRICES in town. The best part is that the mattresses are name brands… not off brands. American Mattress was a no hassle, family friendly place. Our most recent mattress purchase was through Todd K. We were in and out within 20 minutes! Great deal, superior mattress… once again!

Was in the market for a mattress for our college aged munchkin and we stopped in at American Mattress… glad we did. After the other places we had tried here and down in Indiana, we found what we needed in our own backyard.
Chose a mattress… purchased it… asked that it be delivered in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University. Since they have a warehouse in Indianapolis… they delivered to Bloomington for a mere $ 50 bucks and set it up for us. Delivery was within the timeframe promised, and the delivery peeps had no trouble finding us. .
The entire transaction could not have been easier. Worked with Mike in the store and he had a nice command for the product and all the details. Next time we are in the market for a mattress, we’ll think of American Mattress first.

Mike and Tyler were extremely helpful and hooked us up with an awesome just rolled out 2 days ago pillow top heaven bed!

My girlfriend Andrea D. and I went in to try out some beds and find the right one for our aching backs. James Giambalvo came to our rescue and helped us find the right bed for our budget and walked out with a Tempur-​Pedic bed. Very genuine and knowledgable individual. Highly recommended if you want service with a smile :-)
