I thought long and hard about even putting the time into doing a review for this location. First off I will say that I am honestly a little biased towards this company because I use to work for them back in 09, I loved working there and leaned a lot not only about the job bit also helped me build character and confidence. So when I called this store to see if I could get help with a couple of boots I saw that went on sale to receive the type of service I did I was very disappointed. The first time I tried to call the phone just rang until I tried back within the next hour only to receive some one whom was very rude upon picking up. When I asked him if he could check to see if they had 3 particular boots I saw that went on sale there was a long pause and sigh, he then stayed he had no boots on sale other then a lime green and silver pair??? Which I can understand if you did not have my boots in stock or even would take the time to look but he didn’t even bother to ask what style I wanted or size. I also found it hard to believe that he stated hey had NO boots on sale other then the pair he described. Instead of being rude back I just said well thank you for your time and he didn’t say anything just hung up. Now I know I may be ranting or going back to memory lane here but back in 09 there was a store manager there by the name of Marty Spicer which whom of which was also my store manager at the time. Orland Park finish lines best store manager, every other store manager after that has not been able to provide customers with the type of service that Finish Line was known for. In this day and age where there is so much completion and other stores selling literally the same things the only thing that really makes you differ yourselves is the customer experience. This is disappointing because when Joe Pedro and Frank Assorgi were My dms the Chicago area was at there pinnacle for gains, numbers but most of all customer service. I honestly hope the manager reads this because you need to do better as well as your staff. Too many times have I came to this location only to be dissapointed… What happened?

I came in to purchase some gym shoes. The employee who was helping me told me that if I spend $ 100 then I get $ 20 of rewards towards another purchase. I bought shoes, those gel insoles, and a few no tie laces. My total purchase was well over $ 100 so, he set me up with the rewards card and said that within 24 hours my rewards points will go through. At that time, I said I didn’t want the insoles because I can just wait until I get my $ 20 off reward. He promised me that if I just bring in my receipt within 7 days, I would get the money back. Anyways, I went in today to claim my $ 20 and no one was able to help me. Apparently, i was suppose to bring in a coupon from the mail(I never even gave him my address when he opened up the rewards card, so not sure how I was suppose to get that?!). I just felt that the employees who I interacted with today were rude and not even listening to what I was saying. Moreover, if you promise that I will get my $ 20 if i come back to the store within seven days, I expect to get that money. I made a trip for literally no reason– waste of time and energy! Not only was I upset about the $ 20 situation, I will never return to finish line because the customer service was so terrible. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else! They dont even have that great of a selection of shoes.

I ordered the perfect hoodie for my bf’s Christmas gift online through the Finish Line website after searching all over to find his size somewhere. It was $ 25 less than in most other places so I was excited to place the order! 3 weeks passed and no sign of my package anywhere and no emails from Finish Line. I called the customer service line only to find out that my order was cancelled due to lack of inventory. No notice was made to me prior to my call. I then called the Orland Park store to see if they had any available in the store and the employee who answered the phone was short and rude and seemed to have no interest in helping me. I most definitely do not recommend them to anyone. BAHHUMBUG.
