I walked in 3 minutes before closing time with my boyfriend and the manager(can’t remember if her name was Lori or Lora) that was there was nice enough to put my order in when the pizzas usually take 45 minutes to be done, she even offered us to take a seat and have a drink while we waited we will definitely be coming back to this location. The pizza was delicious the manager was very kind and everyone working was nice I loved it!

Had a family birthday party, im sitting there waiting for an Italian market sandwich that never came when i placed my order earlier. I was even asked if I had wanted the sandwich to arrive at the same time the pizza was finished. Here you go, 1 star rating… not even an apology from the waiter or staff. Hot stinking garbage. And by the way, when my father asks politely for some sliced lemons for his water, do not arrive with just one slice and between your fingers. Why do this to your customers?

I wouldnt recommend this location, the service is very slow and the pizza is so so. Mokena location is great– you will disappointed if you go here.

Mmm… mmm… good! Love the deep dish pizza with spinach and pepperoni! Their meatballs are awesome too if you have never tried them. We order from them at least once a month if not more. The only reason it gets 4 stars is bc we refuse to dine here. We did it once and it was horrible. Figured we would try it again and yeahhhhh.. that was the last time. But… the good news is that they deliver and their pizza rocks!

This is some of the best pizza in Chicago. I’m always very full and satisfied. The restaurant is very clean and cozy and I don’t really have any complaints, except for the fact that I don’t recall ever getting any type of discount or coupon offers for them. I think for a change that’d be nice.

Started out promising, but turned into a magic trick when the waitress disappeared completely :/ Arrived at Giordano’s Orland Park around 5pm. We were seated right away – not many people dining there. When the waitress came for our drink order, I let her know that we wanted to order an appetizer and salad right away – needed food asap. The appetizer and salad came out in less than 10 minutes – GREAT! We ordered a thin-crust pizza(since it takes less time to cook). The waitress said ‘it may take 25 minutes to cook’ but it actually came out in about 15 minutes – GREAT! After the pizza was served, the waitress came by one time to make sure everything was ok… and that was the last time we saw her. Shortly after the pizza was served, my husband had finished his soda. The waitress never came back to refill the sodas, so he ended up eating dinner without having anything to drink – huge NONO! Letting the ‘cup runneth dry’ is one of the biggest mistakes a waitress can make. We finished eating. We sat. We waited. We sat. We waited. The waitress never came back. I got up and asked the host/manager for the dessert menu because it was our intent to order dessert. STILL the waitress never came back. I got the host/manager’s attention, he came over and asked if we wanted anything else… I told him very bluntly that we wanted to order dessert but seeing as how our waitress abandoned us, we just wanted our check. Needless to say, with the waitress’ disappearing trick for almost 30 minutes, we left the minimum 15% tip, not one penny extra. Such a shame, because she started out great, and we tip generously, but she really blew it. On a side note, I was very happy that the restaurant’s music in the dining room was quiet. Unfortunately, it was ruined by the Mexican polka circus music blasting in the kitchen that overpowered the more quiet dining room music. Food was average. Service sucked. Never going back!

This is the best pizza place. Delicious veggie pizza and the deep dish just melts in your mouth! Very thick and has a great crunch to the crust. The sauce is also tasty. I get them delivered all the time now.

Great customer service. Hot and fresh stuffed pizza in Orland Park. They tell me it is ready in 45 minutes for pick up and a do not have to wait a minute more.

Ok, we ordered the chopped salad(not good as Portillos) and had a Sausage, Onion, Green Pepper and Onion pizza. I have not been there in awhile. I thought we were going to love the pizza but highly disappointed… The crust tasted ver blah and you could tell it was pre cut frozen preformed pizza crust, I would be very surprised if I am wrong. Very bland all around. I work hard for my money and fell someone stole $ 45.00 from me. Service was fine… Sorry last time forever here

This place was great for accommodating a group of 25(mostly kids). We had a big family gathering here for my daughter’s 10th birthday and they were great at allowing us to bring our own cake and making sure the pizza was ready by the time we settled in. Soon as I arrived the hostess advised me to place my order(we ordered about 8 pizzas to make sure every one was full). We did wait about 20 minutes or so to be seated but that was only because we arrived early. Once we sat down we ordered about 5 appetizers and only waited about 25 minutes for the pizza to be ready. We had plenty of pizza to take home and everyone was also pretty full from only having a few pieces. I was a little sceptical on this as I haven’t been at a pizza place with such a large group but it turned out great!

To me: best pizza in Chicagoland. Wife and I have come here a half dozen times or more. Reasonable price given quality/quantity of food. Most recent trip took 90 minutes to get a small deep dish that was moderately cool in the middle. Definitely disappointing but 1 bad experience won’t change my review yet. We love the atmosphere and food!

We usually get takeout from Giordano’s, as it was always too busy to eat in. Having not done that in a while our family decided to have an outing there. We got right in. That should have been a red flag. .Our server was not very nice, he was not happy to see a large group he had to wait on. We were are pretty nice people and were drinking. So put that together and you have a good tip! Server not attentive, didn’t keep the drinks coming, pizza came out cold, one of the pizzas was made wrong. To make matters worse a family of three sitting behind us let thier two year old scream loudly throughout their entire dinner. Once we brought the pizza problem to our servers attention he became argumentative and more rude. A «manager» came over who looked like a teenager and offered to remake the pizza or take a few dollars off. We didn’t want to be there any longer so we opted for the $ off. with thier prices I wanted a nice server and a pizza that was hot and made right. I saw the«manager» at the other end talking to another group so I’m guessing their pizzas were screwed up too. After that the server basically dropped us… dropped off the check dropped off the boxed up the pizzas and never came back. We will never dine in here again. And will think twice before we pick this place for take out. Giordano’s…please match your service and quality checks to the prices you charge!

I have been dining at Giordano’s for over 25 years. And I have made their Orland Park location my preferred Giordano’s. My last two visits have been concerning. In February, I placed an on-line pick up order which consisted of 2 Harvest salads family size. To my disappointment, we were given 2 family size salads of another kind. I attempted to call the restaurant multiple times, and the phone would ring with no answer each time. Eventually, I decided to express my disappointment on-line at this link: I never received a response. Today, I dined in with my family. After placing our order, I approached the general manager(Lynn Botich) to inquire if they customarily respond to comments, complaints, and suggestions. Lynn said they do respond when their location receives the comment from corporate. Apparently, Giordano’s corporate receives the comments, compliments and suggestions. Corporate will then send the communication to the respective Giordano’s location. Lynn stated that if their location did not respond to my communication, it was due to not receiving the communication from corporate. She gave me her business card which I have attached as a picture. She ensured if I contact her directly, she’ll respond. 45 minutes after placing our order, our server(to no fault of her own) informed us that our stuffed pizza was not made according to our specification. We ordered a stuffed sausage and pepperoni. The pizza was prepared as half sausage and half pepperoni. The server suggested they can place pepperoni on the other half so that at least it would be a sausage-pepperoni on one side and pepperoni on the other side of the stuffed pizza. That was a «quick fix» suggestion which would allow us to not have to wait an additional 45 minutes for another all pepperoni and sausage stuffed pizza. I elected to wait and have them correct the error. I thought about the incorrect specifications of my stuffed pizza and I’m convinced had the order been placed for pick up, they would have given me the half sausage pizza or half sausage and half pepperoni. They realize it’s an inconvenience to return from home and request a new correctly ordered pizza when there are plenty of hungry mouths that are waiting to dig in. I presume that’s what happened with the 2 Harvest salads I ordered, and instead received two other salads. The Lombard and Hillside locations may have to become my preferred Giordano’s locations.

Giordanos just ruined my kids valentines day. They waited all year for a heart shaped pizza. After ordering one for carry out, ½ sausage and uncut, I was instead given a haphazardly cut pizza(4 odd shapes for a medium stuffed???) that is unfortunately round. Today, they suck. And i would have still given three stars if the store manager hadn’t made it obvious she didnt care when i called about it. Shame on you for your terrible customer service. I will choose the new local Lou Malnatis next time. They also have heart shapes and they arent’t round.

Always a must stop on my trips to Chicago. This time I was staying in Orland Park so I decided to visit this particular location. For a Friday afternoon there wasn’t much going on, nor were there a lot of people inside. So that would mean that service would be quick and easy right? Not so much, albeit it wasn’t exactly slow. Just seemed like the servers were preoccupied with their own matters, and not tending to their customers. The food was good, I had a lunch special, and I recommend it if you’re looking for something quick to eat during the lunch hour. I had a pepperoni deep dish with a caesar salad. The salad was good, the pizza was good. Can’t complain about the food. The location is kind of difficult to get to if you’re going south on La Grange, especially with all of the road construction going on. I had to go through a parking lot and turn around to get back north on La Grange and then pull into the parking lot. Not really the restaurants fault.

My first Chicago style pizza experience! We were here last night for a rehearsal dinner. Our group had about 60 – 70 guests. We were unable to get our own private dining room because we needed at least 100 guests. As expected, they kept seating tables around our large party. The dinner started of with pitchers of soda and beer on the table. They also brought out bottles of red and white wine. The food was served family style. We passed around bread and salad. The bread and salad were both average, not anything special. A nice filler while we were waiting on our pizza. They brought out several types of pizza — stuffed crust pepperoni, stuffed crust everything, and several thin crust pizzas. I had 2 slices of the stuffed pepperoni. And o man, I felt stuffed! Chicago style pizza is no joke. Very filling! After we finished the pizza, they boxed up the remaining slices then brought out dessert. The dessert was brought out on styrofoam plates which made me wonder if they ran out of clean plates. The dessert consisted of cheesecake, cannolis, tiramisu, and cream puffs. Overall, I really enjoyed Chicago style pizza! It was definitely a casual rehearsal dinner experience.

NOTE: This is a copy of the email I sent Giordanos Corporate I recently heard you may be opening 4 more restaurants. If that is true, I suggest fine tuning the ones you already have operating. I dined at your Orland location on Saturday Jan 25th. My receipt is 12:14:16pm Upon entering, my sister and I weren’t greeted and instead stood there in front of the manager and waitress whom ignored us for at least 2 minutes as they were looking at the register. No, «Ill be with you in a moment» etc. just SILENCE. Then the waitress asked if we were there for a pickup. I said, no, we wanna be seated. She was friendly. Once seated, we ordered our food. The food, including the appetizer, ALLCAMEOUTATTHESAMETIME. Soup, food and appetizer. I ordered garlic /parm fries… only got the regular. She corrected that. Pieces of my beef were COLD while other pieces were warm. The au jus was hot so I didn’t say anything. The beef however had no flavor .I ordered Southside style. I come from Bridgeport… this beef aint it. The beef at your 63rd cicero location is good. The bread didn’t taste like it had any garlic on it. My sister said her Chicken sandwich was like a basic .99c breaded one at Wendys We ordered the Calamari & More appetizer… We had 2 types of Calamari… the round and the squiddy kind. BOTH were bland breaded… do you guys believe in oregano? It had the lemon rounds. but NOTONEGREENBEANTOBEFOUND. I called the waitress back and asked what kind of incompetent cook is back there. strike the app from the bill. She apologized and said the manager would be RIGHTOVER. If 10 minutes means«right over» then she was prompt.(The place wasn’t busy) She apologized and then tried to blame everything ONTHECOMPUTER! lol… but she also had a talk with the cook. I told her a computer has nothing to do with a waitress and cook knowing that appetizers are FIRST… followed by SOUP. THEN the meal. She just looked at me, blinked that blink people do once confronted with FACTS and have nothing logical to say… said once again, «sorry.its our computer system». Im also gonna reproduce this on my Unilocal page Thank you NOTE: Earlier today, the SAMEDAY I emailed them and posted this review, I received a reply. the FASTEST reply Ive EVER received upon emailing either a complaint or compliment to someone. I was assured by the GM this issue would be taken care of and as a result of my inconvenience I was being sent a gift card. I replied back thank you and told them I would promptly add this to my Unilocal review.

Whenever someone tells me that Giordano’s is their favorite pizza place, I always look at them and cock my head to the side and stare at them confused. Much in the same way that my yorkie looks at me when I try to have a conversation with him. Sure, the deep dish pizza is decent, but I’ve had so many better pizzas that I couldn’t call it my favorite. The thing that Giordano’s has(at this location and at the one in Oak Brook) is great customer service. I’ve never dealt with a rude employee. In fact, they’ve always been more than friendly and helpful. The customer service alone always has me coming back although the pizza isn’t my fave. We ordered an entrée Caesar salad as an appetizer. The menu said it would feed 2 as an appetizer, but I think we could have minimally fed 3 – 4 people with it as an appetizer. There was enough salad for my sister and I to both have 2 full plates of it and still have some leftover. It also bothers me that their sausage is crumbled and not a patty. Do they have patty sausage and I ordered the wrong one? I’m not sure, but I like my Chicago style pizza with a nice thick sausage patty. I do like the sweetness of their sauce, as it makes my taste buds sing. They have the sauce ‘thang down pat. All in all, I’m not a fan per se, but I do find myself here often whenever I’m out with my mom. She thinks that driving to the city to get pizza is a waste of time – and yes, I’ve told her on many occasions that Chicago is known for its pizza, but she just doesn’t listen. I would give Giardano’s a 3.5 for their incredible sauce and customer service.
