John was amazing. He DJ my wedding and I can’t say enough good things about him. Since the wedding I have had several compliments on him. He kept the party alive, he was professional and he kept the Dance Floor packed. If a song wasn’t working out he would quickly fade it out to play another. He was great on the mic but didnt crave attention like I have seen other DJ’s do. We also got up lighting from John in the room looks amazing, it made it pop. We paid a little extra for John than other places but your DJ makes the whole wedding and he was worth it.

We used Rolling Sounds for our wedding on 1÷23÷16 and the were absolutely awesome. The owner, John, met with me the first time for about 2 hours and was very personable, detailed and helpful. He met with us again before the wedding and was extremely organized. He went over every last detail with us and thought of things I didn’t even consider. He made sure our dj Kevin was well informed with everything we wanted. Kevin was a huge hit at our wedding. He was high energy, made crowd laugh and kept everyone dancing the entire time. I had many people ask and comment on where Kevin was from and how great of a job he did. He also did an awesome job of keeping us on schedule and tracking me and my husband down when needed. We would recommend this company to anyone. 5 stars to John and Kevin!

These guys were referred to me by my photographer and they did a great job! Fun, organized and personable both in the planning process and on the Wedding Day. At first I was reluctant to go with a company based in the burbs as we are a city couple but John put us at ease and was such a fun guy and professional all the way. It was easy to pick the music we wanted and we got some great guidance from John. At the wedding we saw people dancing we honestly never thought we’d see on the dance floor — between the DJ and the photo booth (from our photography company) the reception was non stop fun!

John and his sidekick Mark did an EXCELLENT job at our wedding this weekend! The were a pleasure to work with and John took the time to communicate about all of our song suggestions and ideas. Their lighting was perfect and the playlist was flawless. They had to compete against a GORGEOUS Lake Michigan post-​thunderstorm sunset and an enticing, cool outdoor patio and they won because they kept the dance floor flowing and full all night. Couldn’t have been happier with the way our wedding turned out and they were a huge part of it. THANK YOU!

This place is great! We were out a D.J. a week before our wedding. In panic mode, I looked through my bridal expo bags for D.J. flyers. I set up 3 appointments for 3 different DJ companies, one being Rolling Sounds Entertainment. Rolling Sounds was our first appointment and after that appointment we did not need to look any further. John the Entertainment Director was so helpful and accommodating for our big time constraint. We didn’t have much of a play list and he offered some great suggestions along with a reception agenda for us to modify and finalize. It was comforting to go to a vendor that has been in business for years and definitely knows what they’re doing.
Rolling Sounds Entertainment not only offers Disc Jockeys but also Room Lighting and Light Shows. We had such a cute wedding spotlight along with the amazing entertainment. We received so many compliments on the DJ and the music. It’s definitely true that the DJ can make or break the wedding reception.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Rolling Sounds Entertainment, and am so appreciative that the director was so helpful for a couple that was out a DJ a week before the wedding.
