By far the best hair cut you can get. Ahmed is more than a barber… he boarders on an artist! If you are going to any of the discount men’s cut salons I would highly recommend coming here and seeing what a real cut looks like.

I was need of a cut. My regular place was always slammed. I was in the area and wanted to give True Cut a try.
No better time then the present.
Well south-​siders rejoice. An owner operated barber shop in the south burbs which gives you a big city cut and does not charge big city prices, cuts $ 15.
You will do yourself a favor by trying True Cut.
Ahmed speaks broken english but understands what you want. All I said was short on the sides and leave the top a bit longer. Ahmed assured me don’t worry, sit.
15 minutes later, perfect. Yes, 15 minutes. He works the clippers and scissors so quickly and is so focused, it all made for a very pleasant experience.
Glad I was able to try this place. Definitely be back again!

This place has been here for a few years, but I didn’t have a reason to switch barbers. Until 5 Star got so busy that they hired the Evelyn Wood of hair and now you get a stop watch turned on as soon as you sit down. This guy is Fantastic! He cut my hair and actually made me feel like I still had hair. That in itself was worth the trip. I was a kid again. He took his time, and did a great job. He trimmed my beard and he threads as well. This isn’t your regular clip joint. He is a bit hard of hearing so you have to listen carefully. Nice dude and made me feel like I have been going there for years. Reasonable prices as well.
