As an owner of a business that has used Apple Spice for several years, I wanted to take the time to let others know that my thoughts are about them! 1st the food is wonderful. The homemade bread for the sandwiches is a treat. 2nd the option to have delivery for our large orders is so convenient. 3rd Customer service… I want to zero in on this! We have never had a problem in the many years we have had them cater our yearly function, until this year. It was a complete train wreck… But, the staff and owner of Apple Spice Junction took ownership of the problem and went over and above to fix the problem. Even with the owner personally handling the end result. I share this becasue people just want to p[oint oy

We had food delivered to our office yesterday(11/10/2015). When the food arrived, it came in two yellow bins that were really dirty — I was shocked. The food was being pulled out of these dirty bins in front of our executives in the glass-paned conference room just beside the set-up area. Then the deliverer told our receptionist to go back and«pretend» she was working. Sitting on the side and observing all of this, I couldn’t believe the whole experience. Food was OK — not anything too exciting, desserts were not fresh. This place can deliver OK food in a pinch, delivery person needs to be checked.

I’ve ordered here several times for the company I work for. The staff was inattentive and distracted. They asked me answer the same questions several times each. They took 2 hours from when I ordered to deliver even though they said 45 minutes. The food is mediocre. I feel like another sandwich shop would give you better food for a cheaper or similar price.

Enjoy going here for lunch during the week, they are fast and the food is really good. I have plenty of time to enjoy my lunch on my lunch hour and not feel rushed. A little pricey but the food is really good. I love, love, love, their bread! I buy a loaf and toast it at home and put real butter on it… omg is it delicious!

Great food, but dont be fooled by the FREEDELIVERY, its not really free. I ordered lunch for a work meeting from Apple Spice and was super excited to see free delivery on their menu, but when I looked at the receipt I noticed I was charged $ 5.82 for delivery!!! Their website also says free delivery… So confused how you can charge for delivery when you advertise free delivery.

Okay. I should’ve left a review a long time ago. My husband and I were looking for a caterer for our wedding last year and came across Apple Spice as one of the preferred vendors that Orlando Science Center likes to use. I’d never heard of if and while it is in a hard-to-find spot, it is totally worth it! John Boone, the owner, met with us for a consultation. He took us on a tour of the kitchen to show us how everything is made fresh(huge points for this!) and he even gave us samples of the amazing fresh bread. Long story short, John did an outstanding job, and their food is phenomenal! I’ve since taken coworkers back there for lunch and John’s continued to show amazing service and friendliness. I would go there every day for lunch if I lived closer!

Food was good. Portions. a little to be desired. Found a small hair in my pasta salad. Price point is set at $ and that is false. It should be rated at $$. The lunch special is $ 10.31 a sanwhich is $ 8. I’ll come back. When I win the lotto and my appetite becomes that of an infant.

Well how can I say this? I went to the Junction and ordered a BLT. The bacon was crisp, lettuce crisp, tomato sweet and bread might tasty. I added my condiments to my BLT. IT was nice and crispy, juicy and very tasty. I had cut my sandwich and ate half. I started on my second half, took a big bite and a chewing I go with a smile on my face. All of a sudden I feel something strange. My mind is like what the heck is that? I put my finger to my mouth and pull out a very long blond hair. I WASDONE! That was a mighty good BLT to! My memories destroyed by a single strand!

Fantastic boars head sandwich on freshly baked bread. I have had the Roast beef on their 13grain bread twice and It was fantastic. My new favorite sandwich shop. Definitely a hidden gem.

This place is a surprising little gem in the middle of nowhere. I went w/my coworkers on our lunch break. One of the girls in our group had food catered from here for her wedding, so we tried it out. The lunch boxes are filling and the salads are super fresh. I had the seafood & avocado salad. It was served with fresh baked bread and cinnamon honey butter. That honey butter is to die for! You can even buy just the honey butter to take home! 8 oz tub for $ 1.99 and 16 oz tub for $ 3.79. If you’re looking for soup, salad, & sandwiches from a non-chain restaurant, this place is for you!

Great salads and sandwiches. Generous portions– the salads are huge, and they are served with super thick cut bread and cinnamon butter. I have had southwest and chicken curry salads, both excellent. I’ve had this place cater to my office a couple of times too, and it has always been tasty and popular. I have ordered their chili and did not think much of it; it was a bit sweet and not near spicy enough for my tastes. The physical location is a little tricky to find, and doesn’t look like a place you would find a restaurant, but it’s worth hunting down. There’s a few tables inside, and it would get a bit cozy if more than a few people showed up, but it seems to do more to-go and catering business than dine in business.

I have used Apple Spice Junction several times to cater work-related lunches, and have always been pleased. It is a nice change of pace from your typical Panera lunch, and pricing is competitive. This location is hidden inside a small office park, so it’s a little tricky to find. But once you find your way there, it’s worth it. The dining room is extremely clean and spacious, probably due to the fact that the majority of their business is catering rather than walk-ins. The service was very quick and friendly, and the food was good. They have a wide array of sandwiches, so you’re sure to find something tasty. My only complaint is that the bread slices, while soft and flavorful, are extremely thick(think Texas Toast size). So it can make the sandwich seem a little dry. But if you are a fan of the bread, they sell full loves for just $ 1…not a bad deal at all! Apple Spice Junction is a nice change of pace for lunch if you’re in the area, or if you need an event catered.

Used this place to deliver lunch. I had the chicken Caesar which came with some bread and an apple butter. It was delicious!

The smell in here is great and the food unique. It’s in an unexpecting part of central florida with not much around but is definitely a gem. The ambience is great and the people friendly. Definitely recommend it! The soups are to die for. like they were made from scratch. And secretly — It’s Tasty Too — that makes wedding/events wedding cakes and cupcakes works out of there, too witht he most amazing designs and cakes… have to try it! You have to ask for Heather directly(usually by appointment only) but she always has something good baking in the back.

This place is great when you want some yummy, fresh, deli cuisine. Their homemade soups are really good, but what really keeps me coming back for more is their freshly-baked bread! They have a nice assortment of sandwiches and salads as well, so finding at least one thing you like on the menu shouldn’t be a problem. My two favorite soups are the broccoli & cheddar and chicken tortilla. I usually will get them in a bread bowl, since you already know how much I like their bread! And when I’m in a salad mood, I like ordering the sliced chicken. What’s great about the salads is that they still give you some of their fresh-baked bread on the side. YUM! I will say this though: there were a few times where I’ve had issues with my salads being too soggy or wilted, but honestly, counting the number of times I’ve eaten here, the good always outweighs the bad. What’s nice is that you can do delivery, take-out or simply eat-in. And if you’re looking for someone to cater your events, they do that too! My company likes to order from them a lot and we rarely have complaints when we do. So try it out, if you’re looking for some«good food when you need it.»
