I ordered from the inexpensive lunch menu, not sure what to expect. I decided on Chicken Pad Thai. OHMAN! It is good! It’s so good I came back again before leaving town.

Stop to get a quick bite while out for errands. The food and service was HORRIBLE!!! Dirty table and extremely sticky floor. This restaurant doesn’t deserve any star.

One word. Cockroach. When eating our soups while waiting for entrees, my sister raised her spoon only to find a nice German cockroach mixed in with her soup. I literally let out a quick scream, not one person in the restaurant looked at me! I told our waiter and he apologized, but then said«are you sure you don’t want to stay?» REALLY???

Hate to write a bad review because this is obviously someones bread-and-butter(pun not intended)– I imagine the only people that come here are people who do not look on Unilocal. While I did Unilocal and saw 2 stars family was already sitting in restaurant. I Went in and said, can it be that bad– yes, it was; what we call a belly filler. The fried chicken wing appetizer aside from seeming over fried in old oil was served without sauce– greasy– nasty– I’ll spare you the other food descriptions. Some of It was eatable but I would not recommend the place. Of all the places in Orlando – we feel yucked out.

Second trip to this hidden spot. Very fresh food without the crowds. Quite a surprise to find. While the waitress had a little trouble understanding our English everything arrived as ordered. Won ton soup was great!

This place was so bad it doesn’t even deserve a star. My family went to eat one night on our trip from Disney and the staff there was really unfriendly and rude when we asked for help they said«o you already have a waiter» and they wouldn’t even help us out. Our waiter supposedly«lost» our order but he didn’t even give it to the chief and we waited almost an hour and thirty minutes for the food and we had to argue to make them make our food first because after our waiter gave it to the kitchen he placed the order last!!! The food The food here is terrible it tastes so sweet and all the dishes tastes the same. orange chicken here was really sweet and didn’t even taste like chicken! Overall it was terrible and I recommend no one goes here

Worst place EVER!!! You can not do this. You will get sick and you will have a hard time finding anything to eat. Hard chewy tasteless. This is at the top of my list of reason of no matter how tired and lazy you get on any certain day you must must use Unilocal!!! to save yourself from this ever happening to you. I now have posted and you can only blame yourself as I have done.

This place has a bad business model. Here’s why: The Chinese food was bad. Just bad. No good staples(no wonton, no sweet & sour) and the stuff they did have wasn’t tasty. The sushi should scare people away. I went at 5:20pm, just when you’d think they might be getting ready for dinner people. I had sushi that was obviosly left over from lunch. I actually love cheap buffet sushi, so I ate it all, but it was the wasabi and soy sauce that got me through. The sushi should just not be out and left to rot. Better not to have it than have poor looking rolls sitting there. At this point, I’m writing a 1-star review and you’re probably asking where the 3 stars came from. The answer is the THAIFOOD! I’ve never been to any Asian buffet with Thai food on it. The Thai food was honestly AMAZING! Yes, AMAZING. This place should just become a smaller-scale Thai bufft(oh, and the fried shrimp were particularly standoutish among other food). They had at least 3 different types of curried chicken and shrimp. All were floating in delicious sauces, which kept them hot and fresh on the buffet. I had at least 2 plates covered with this and their Thai basil rice. That was quite a bit tastier than their neon-yellow«friend rice». I’ll actually be back to this place. Probably not for the $ 15 dinner(with tax and tip, it’s $ 11.99 I think). I’ll go right when they open and get some of my favorite cheap sushi and then just indulge over and over again in Thai deliciousness!

I only ordered for to go, but my experience has been quite nice. The food taste were pretty good, and I actually came back for another one(fried rice, lo mein and chicken brocoli). my only complaint was that they don’t have set closing hour. The menu says 11:00am to CLOSE. I came one night and asked the closing time, I was told 10:30 pm. The next day I came at 10:10 pm, and was told that they are closed already, because they were busy and everyone was tired(though the open sign is still lit)

So let me tell you about my experience. HORRIBLE! If I were to go into details, I don’t think anybody would ever eat here. Overpriced and tastes just BAD. I would recommend somewhere else. They even took my whole $ 20 when the bill was only $ 16. HORRIBLE!!!

The staff at Asian Harbor were genuinely friendly and helpful upon our visit on a very rainy Orlando day when we were just trying to find a quick bite to eat before heading back to the hotel from Universal earlier this day. Though the selection of some items on the buffet appeared limited, there were enough items of interest per individual in our group this evening. The wait staff was very prompt to clear unwanted plates and items from our table. In addition to replenishing the drinks on a pleasant level of satisfaction. We knew there was a coupon honored discount at this place, however we did not have our clipped coupon with us. The front attendant at the exit register was kindly willing to honor the 10% discount upon my inquiry about it. This was a pleasant surprise and appreciation to conclude our evening here. *Just a friendly heads up, a gratuity of 15% is placed upon the check for groups of 5 or more. On this particular visit we felt our server did accommodate us at about that level of service for the evening.

Friendly Staff and Reasonable Prices. I ordered through delivery and was very pleased with my purchase. I chose this restaurant because I wanted Chinese delivered to my workplace that I couldn’t leave due to being understaffed for the day. Although there are other higher rated Chinese places that deliver, they refused to deliver to my place of business because it was farther than their policy allowed. I ordered an eggroll, yellow drop soup, and the General Tso’s Chicken. After placing the order, the delivery man arrived around 35 minutes after. He was a nice Asian man with a friendly smile who was very conversational. This was as expected; nothing too long nor too short. The total came to $ 15.12 with a $ 2 tip and a surprise that they didn’t charge a delivery fee. The packaging was simple yet industrial. It had a good plastic covers on the soup and chicken while the rice was housed with the familiar origami paper square. Included was a variety of sauces, napkins, and utensils. I also received a fortune cookie that read«Joys are often shadows cast by sorrow’s.» The quote was unexpectedly good for a fortune cookie to my surprise. The food was tasty and familiar to other Chinese places. I wanted to eat it all myself but was full after half of the rice and half of the chicken. Don’t hesitate if you’re worried they will skimp on the food. For $ 15, it was enough to feed three. The only complaint I have is the oily egg roll. It seemed like they deep fried the eggroll and then literally injected it with an ounce of oil. I placed it on 10 layers of napkins and it blead through all of them onto the table. The chicken and soup were no stranger to oil either. If you’re looking to eat healthy, this is not the place to order. Even with the more than subtle soak in oil for the chicken, eggroll, and even the soup, the taste was not bland. It was much better than a buffet but it lacked the authenticity of Chinese food. I was hoping to taste some of the earthiness, vegetables, and soy the Chinese add but was let down in that factor in the food. As another reviewer pointed out, the taste is better fitted for familiarity toward the American diet and I have to whole heartrendingly agree. For some this is a bad thing, but for most it means safety and assurance in their money. To some it up, I am a fan. The food leaned on the better side and would recommend to a friend needing delivery. I didn’t relate to the other reviewers but I enjoyed the meal. More than worth the money.

dumplings this is what to get here and take your chances with anything else ordered here. I also, ordered this food from my hotel room(traveling for work). They do not have brown rice, that’s okay, but then their regular rice should be good(had hard old portions, and this wasn’t crunchy because a hot pot). The steamed chicken tasted like rubber and honestly the taste was not fabulous either. The icing on the cake for this place, was that they have a $ 15 minimum delivery fee charge. Okay, so I ordered the dumplings(thank goodness because they were the most edible thing I ordered), and when the delivery man came, he called me from the front desk to come an collect my food. Once I arrived, and noticed I didn’t tip him(was there a service he provided, other than calling me on his phone to come and get my food — his employer also charged me a $ 15 fee to deliver) he asked for tip. I told him I did not have anything on me and he had the nerve to actually start begging for a tip. Wowza. I went back to my room to get some cash, felt offended, and gave him change. Sorry dude, beggars can’t be choosers. So did my meal leave a bad taste in my mouth because of the delivery guy?? maybe. Did it leave a bad taste in my mouth because I’ve had better?? maybe. The combination of the two will not make me want to order in from this chinese place again.

We were looking for somewhere quick to eat one night and we saw an ad saying this place was voted the best Chinese buffet for the past 5 years. I am not sure who was doing the voting but I am questioning their creditability. When we walked into the place it was completely empty which should have been a sign but we forged on. The food wasn’t awful but it was great either there was nothing special about it. It was obvious that the food had been there alittle while and just kept being stirred(hence why I avoided seafood). For the quality of the food and what we got, we felt it was not worth the price. Overall not a great experience, I would recommend trying one of the other million restaurants in that area.

I’ll say I’m indifferent. It wasn’t horrible, but there wasn’t anything that would make me want to come back. These days, with so many good choices; especially in Orlando, this place will struggle to thrive. If your stuck for a place to eat near here and don’t have a car, try take out at the pizza joint next door to Asian Harbor– the pies looked very good.

The reviews for this place really are mixed. You shouldn’t go to Asian Harbor expecting a fancy restaurant. It by no means is a fancy restaurant. It’s a decent place with a pretty good buffet. The food is fresh, the food seems very tasty. I got some sushi here as well and it was fresh and tasty. I wouldn’t consider it the best chinese or sushi restaurant around, but I would definitely go back.

Found a 10% coupon in one of those local savings books. It also said there was $ 1 draft beers with purchase of buffet… No $ 1 drafts. No crab legs. No hot food. No good food. No variety. I literally ate a piece of fish an inch in diameter, 8 baby clams, one piece of «boneless» rib with… bone, and 3 pieces of california roll… $ 7.45/lunch. False advertisement. =(

I’m not sure if I just got lucky, but I actually enjoyed my experience at Asian Harbor. The restaurant was very quiet when we arrived, but it got very busy as we were there. The food on the buffet was fresh, and the food was better than most buffets I have been to. I will definitely go back. The service was good, it was fair priced, the food was warm, and the variety was great.
