Got food poisoning there the last time I went(pretty sure from the dishes that smelled like mildew) and have seen cockroaches just crawling around in the wall multiple times. Eat here at your own risk.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Kissimmee area, and the only one I really go to anymore. I’m a regular customer because I love the staff, the service is always excellent, and their menu is a little different from the normal Mexican restaurant — in a very good way. You really can’t go wrong no matter what you order, but you have to try the oxtail! Awesome margaritas, and on the weekends they have a mariachi band with a fantastic female lead singer — a beautiful voice!

The food is average and not on par with Mexican restaurants back home in PA. Drinks and food overpriced.

The food in this place is ok. The air conditioning is so high that unless you are speedy Gonzalez, by the time you are halfway done with your meal, it’s cold. Our hands were freezing. We asked the employees if they can adjust the temperature and they were not able to do so. The drinks are good and they have a good selection.

Started with the okay chips and great salsa. The top chips were nice and big but halfway through the rest were alllllll broken up. I mentioned it to my table and ten seconds later Janessa, our server noticed the same thing when she came to check on us. She immediately brought us fresh drinks and apologized for the broken chips which she quickly changed out. I was blown away with wow attentive she was. We ordered ceviche de mango, quesadillas, and the combinacion macho which consisted of two tamales and chicken burrito. It came with salsa, cheese, refried beans, and rice. Keeping the story short, I have my favorite new mexican restaurant and recommend to everyone. Service 5⁄5 Cleanliness 5⁄5 Price 4⁄5

Very good service, food and ambience. I feel some dishes are truly authentic and some with a American twist. Margaritas are very good but have a designated driver if having more than 2.

Food is great, ambiance is great, service is great! Love the drinks, the Mariachi. Portions are huge. I’ve been here a half dozen times and always a family favorite. Mother’s Day this place is a zoo but still fun!

Came here on a Sunday for an early dinner. I was surprised to see that they had a drink happy hour 2 for 1. Our waiter Victor was really good, he suggested the drinks and our food, we were not disappointed at all. The full portions were huge. The drinks were delicious and the mariachi band was superb.

Let me start by saying I am NOT a fan of Mexican food. I always get stuck order fajitas because nothing really talks to me. We have been here 2x on different trips to the Orlando area. It is close to Gatorland and the first time we went we stumbled upon it… this time we purposely went there. I was glad we did. The place was packed. There was a birthday party going on but we were still seated quickly. I don’t eat red meat, chicken or pork so that really limits my choices. The tostadas sounded delicious but they were only described with chicken, beef or piccadillo. I had a second choice just in case they couldn’t serve with shrimp. Our waiter said not a problem, but there would be a small charge. The dish was only $ 8.50 so I was willing to take a risk. The tostadas were delicious. The shrimp was nicely spiced and the portion was very generous. The upcharge was only $ 2. My husband had the macho combo dish. He had a chicken burrito, beef taco and a beef enchilada. He didn’t leave anything so I am thinking it was delicious. My daughter had the mexi-bites. It came with a quesadilla triangle, 2 chicken tenders and 1 cheese stick. It was served with fries but it could also be subbed with carrot sticks/celery sticks. They had a pretty nice kids’ menu. Looks like the have a guy who does balloon art. He was finishing up when we got there(which we didn’t know) and my daughter was very disappointed. The host brought over an extra monkey he had made for them host stand. We thought that was so thoughtful of him. All in all we had an awesome 2nd experience there(2 years apart). It is nice to see that service and food remain consistent and great. The restaurant is clean and everyone was super friendly. I am still not a fan of Mexican food, but I will absolutely return.

Amazing meal! This was our first time eatting here, being from out of town. I was told a 20 minute wait and got seated in less than 5. We were surprised to see a mariachi band right in the dining room but they were absolutely fantastic and we were sad when they stopped playing. Our waiter Dani was fantastic, super nice, and a huge help! His recommendations for the Carne y Mojo(skirt steak and garlic shrimp) dish was a spot on perfect. Food came out hot, fast and with huge portions! Definately will be returning on our next trip to Orlando.

OMG where to start… F’ing outstanding place. Portions are ridiculously big! Happy hour from 3−6pm and 10pm-closing every day. I always get their frozen margaritas which are two for one.(Each one served in really big goblets) Their must try is the Blanco Burrito. I can probably drink the cheese that is smothered over the burrito. It is SO good! Live mariachis one weekends to really make the place even more authentic.

Wonderful food, and wonderful service. Mariela, our server was kind, courteous and very cheerful. She was informative and helpful with our vegetarian needs. While I very much appreciate the variety of vegetarian options, I have a suggestion about the vegetarian rice. Instead of their Mexican rice, which I would guess is cooked in chicken stock, for vegetarian dishes, they serve white rice. The meal I got(along with the nice black bean soup) was the Vegi– Macho Burrito. This huge and delicious dish had one flaw… the abundance of white rice inside the burrito. The plainness of the white rice killed the flavor of the vegetables inside and the sauce and garnish for the burrito. If the kitchen could season the vegetarian rice, and any variety of things would improve it… vegetable stock, cilantro and lime juice, cook a little tomato into the rice… something simple to give the vegetarian rice some flavor. Great salsa, great queso, great food.(The white rice killed the five star rating… everything else was great!)

I visited tonight due to the good Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed. I quickly received my drink order along with a small dish of salsa which disappeared nearly a quickly as it was brought out. Then the hydra phenom took over and it turned into two more bowls! The salsa was pretty good, but I think it should at least have a bit more garlic and cilantro. This was quite mild, but with the former additions, I’d be very satisfied. The Tres Amigos of chili Colorado and verde with a chili rellano were excellent as was the service. It would definitely be worth another visit before my scheduled departure, but I’ll probably still be cleaning up those yummy leftovers!

J and I have been here twice and both times I have enjoyed eating here. The food is delicious and you definitely get your money’s worth! The plates are HUGE. We can never finish it and always need a to-go box, that’s how much they give you. I love the chips and salsa and especially the guacamole! You can tell it’s all freshly made by the taste and that’s definitely a plus. Will definitely come here again.

Outstanding service and huge portions! The chips and salsa are fresh and come out hot. We came for a very late lunch. I ordered the tacos with one chicken and two steak. They were well flavored and cut into small pieces. Most places are bland and dry but this was the opposite. Are waitress was very polite and helpful. A+ for service once again. I’m looking forward to going back for dinner and listen to some mariachi.

I was with my SO running errands in orlando and i decided to research mexican places nearby. We went around 1pm so we ordered refried beans enchilada verde with yellow rice(~$ 8) and chicken enchilada with white rice(~$ 8) from the lunch menu. They have good portions and it tasted good(or perhaps i was THAT hungry). I hadn’t tasted a margarita at a mexican restaurant since i moved to Tampa Bay so i decided to go for the house margarita. It is big(and slightly heavy) and tasted good(but a bit light for my taste). They also have a good variety of beers on tap and bottled. I loved the music, the service and the lunch menu prices. Our server was nice and talked with us for a while(in spanish) and made us feel at home. If i am ever near orlando area, i would probably return around lunch for a margarita and enchiladas verdes !

I think Top Shelf Margaritas at $ 11.99 plus tax each are expensive. For that price, I rather visit a more upscale«Restaurant Row» or «Point of Orlando» bar or restaurant. Unless you go happy hour or during live entertainment Mariachi you pay the right price. All other times this restaurant is overpriced. The tacos are so, so. The salsa nothing special, not mexican for sure! The service… did I have some??? The server was watching sports at the bar the whole time. Meh! This is my second visit by mistake. By the way, the décor and service are much better at University Blvd location in East Orlando. I don’t know if is bad luck or what, but I always have bad experiences with servers, customer service etc. in Hunters Creek Restaurant Area. Is either the lack of service, rudeness, careless or unethical attitude. Restaurant owners: Please, hire a better and professional supervisor for your restaurants, not your cousins! :-)

Oh we liked this place very much! Last weekend it was a warm night and absolutely wonderful to sit on the outside patio and enjoy some margaritas and chips before dinner. I got my standard cheese enchilada platter with rice and beans which I use to judge all Mexican restaurants against one another. I also ordered some fresh corn tortillas which were excellent. I forget what my beau ate but whatever vegetarian dish he got, it was excellent. He couldn’t stop talking about how good it was, in fact. I think they have one other location. This one is near Disney, I believe, so I would recommend seeking it out. You definitely wil not be disappointed. It was a really enjoyable experience both with a great server and with great food. Thank you Azteca!
