This is an absolute delight. It’s open during he garden and flower event at EPCOT and as the name suggests is a stop where you enjoy he foliage that is ripe with butterflies. If you’re very still, or very chill, you’ll get one or two to land on your shoulder and say hello. Be careful not to take any back out into the park with you. I think this is equally enjoyable to adults and children and look forward to it myself during this festival. You can’t help but smile. If you’re feeling grumpy, if the heat or the lines are getting to you, stop here as it can’t help but turn your mood around.

One of the most impressive features of the Flower & Garden Festival. Many of the plants are tropical and not realistic for some home gardeners in the northern United States but once you get past that you’ll have a great time. Depending on the temperature outside, sunny or cloudy, and the time of day, you’ll experience butterflies everywhere. More butterflies will be flying around if it’s sunny and not too hot so try to avoid the hottest part of the day. Usually after opening and just before closing are the best times. And remember not to take any hitch hikers out of the tent. Check yourself and the kids for stray butterflies before exiting.

The Future World Butterfly Garden is one of the highlights of the seasonal EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival every spring. A delight for both kids and grownups, this canopied garden area features butterfly friendly plant species that you can grow at home, along with boxes where you can watch butterflies as they emerge from their chrysales. This is a must see if you are here during the festival.
