Great selection of toys, cages, pellets and advice. I found a book I had been looking for forever.
Everyone was very helpful and friendly. If you’re looking for excellent advice about birds I highly recommend them.

Since the closing of the Bird Cabin, I’ve found this to be the best local bird store in the Orlando area. Good toys/​supplies and I love visiting the resident African Greys and other parrots. The staff is very friendly as well.

I spent some time speaking to an associate name Sandy and she showed me a few great things for my African grey. Overall the bird store has a great selection of food and toys a must-​see in Orlando.

This place is great. Very helpful and knowledgeable employees.
They have everything one would need for birds. I get food, treats, toys, and play-​gyms here. All the prices are very reasonable.
I don’t have much to say other than that. Go in and check it out for yourself!
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the place seems a little dusty and outdated inside. A nice cleaning and maybe a new paint job would really help spruce this place up!

The Bird Store is one of the few places in Orlando that has you covered.
They sell a fair range of toys (much wider than you’ll find in the big chain stores) for birds of just about any size. You can also find any foods, supplies or cages you might need. Afraid to clip your birds wings or nails yourself? They’ve got you covered there too.
Prices are generally pretty reasonable. They do some pretty nice sales on toys with regularity.
Most bird owners know that the real deals can be found at the Bird Shows that come through town every few months, but for those times when you really just need something today — The Bird Store usually has what you need.

Until about the age of 13 my parents would not give into my deep, unrelenting desire to have a dog. Instead, we compromised and they let me get a bird… a parakeet to be exact. It wasn’t quite the same, but it fulfilled my desire to have a pet for a short period.
Instead of going to the local Petland and before Pet Smart came into the picture, my dad and I would go to the bird store once a month to get supplies for our bird… whose name I can’t seem to remember at the moment. They had every kind of bird you can imagine, excluding wild birds like eagles and vultures of course, along with numerous types of food, cages, and toys. It’s like those posh dog stores/​bakeries all over town now, only for birds and not quite as froofie.
The people who work there are very knowledgeable on all things bird-​related and so helpful. Their prices are cheaper than other pet stores too. If they don’t have it they can either order it for you or tell you where you can find it… they always had what we needed though.
Overall, if you’re a bird person this is definitely a store to check out.
