Stopped here on the way back from a concert, remembering a few peoples suggestion to try this spot out. I ordered goat curry, a vegetable jamaican patty(never seen one before), and a beef jamaican patty. The kind lady who took my order was friendly, courteous, and entertaining. I received the food in less then 10 minutes. The aroma was so enticing, I had to try it in the car. The curry was full of flavor, and the goat was tender. The meal also came with steamed vegetables, rice and beans, a mysterious corn roll(which was very good), and a sweet plantain. Everything was full of flavor and felt homemade, from your jamaican grandma’s kitchen. However, I did find a foreign object which I will not say what because I simply picked it out and kept eating because the curry was awesome. As for the jamaican patties, they tasted fresh and were not overpowered with heat, but had great flavor. Will be returning, during daylight hours of course!

I ordered the oxtail. Even if I had zero standards for oxtail, the food they served would’ve still been sad. The oxtail I received was simply cooked oxtails in browning and salt. I neither tasted nor saw any seasoning: no onions, tomato, thyme, pepper(and this is basic stuff). Add to that the oxtail was undercooked, so it was kinda tough. About the only pleasant thing was the one degge-degge piece of plantain them give me.

Ok, so I was craving Jamaican cuisine from my hotel room and decided at 8:30(they close at 9pm) to get up and drive over to grab some food. BIGMISTAKE!!! First, this spot is located in the hood in a strip mall. Very seedy characters hanging out around this place. My jerk chicken was not good at all and the beef patty was old. Perhaps I should have stopped in earlier in the day but that is still no excuse. I paid $ 20 for two plates. I love this particular cuisine so I was a bit disappointed to say the least. Next time I will go to Golden Krust. I have been to that location in NYC and loved it. If you are really craving Jamaican… do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

Best vegetarian patties anywhere!!! Sorry to say this, but even better than the vegetarian patties I get in JA… I wish she could mail me some! I tried to make it the way they do, and it really didn’t come out right! Somebody send me a recipe! For real, that’s the first stop when I get to Orlando, and I make sure to get a grip of veg. patties before I get back on the plane too.

Best Caribbean restaurant in town. The red peas soup on Thursdays is the best.

Food and service is GREAT! Best Jamaican beef patties in town. They also have lots of Caribbean dishes. I had the Oxtails which was absolutely delicious. This is definately my spot to get Caribbean food:-)
