This restaurant is a hidden gem. You must ask for Ron… he is the best waiter! The white chocolate soufflé is a dream. Food is fabulous… of course the chef started in NYC. The atmosphere is memorable and you are sure to feel«at home» with Bobby, the piano player. The food is bar none, the best. Be prepared to drop some coin… it’s pricey but such a treat!

Positives first: the food is good, flavorful and carefully thought-out. Piano music was excellent and made for a relaxed atmosphere. Negatives: Over-priced. OMG. $ 41 for one ravioli and a small portion of lasagna. Come on now. Expensive does not mean classy nor does it mean up-scale. Our Waiter was awful. Forgot a drink order, we had to ask him take our order. Just bad. I’m not sure if it was because we were a group of women or what, but it had been awhile since I’ve had this poor of service. Instead of trying this restaurant please choose another — Orlando has so much more to offer. Better yet, drive the distance to Winter Park and try the many fantastic options there.

My boyfriend and I went here the Friday before Valentine’s Day for dinner. We arrived early and were seated right away. The place is dimly lit and intimate. There were red roses and big red heart balloons at each table to set the mood for v day :) We ordered a caesar salad and the special escargot appetizer. The escargot appetizer had a crispy top layer with escargot inside and a large portabella mushroom underneath. It was delicious! The bread here is SOGOOD. We got two servings of it. It is a small baguette filled with feta garlic cheese, served warm. For entrees, I ordered the lamb and my boyfriend ordered the seared tuna. The lamb was cooked medium– it was very moist and soft. not overly seasoned and nice and fatty(which I am a fan of). My boyfriend also enjoyed his dish. It was beautifully plated with a row of pasta alfredo, cooked perfectly. At the end we did not order dessert, but was sent two truffles. Which we enjoyed thoroughly. The service was excellent, the ambiance was great, and the style of the place makes your feel at home. We will definitely go back when we return to Orlando!

Service was impeccable. Excellent wine selection. This is definitely a situation where you get what you pay for! I would absolutely recommend this place for a very upscale dinner. The grouper is a signature dish and it was fantastic. I was a little taken aback by the $ 45 price for the single filet, however. The salmon special was just ok, a little fishy. My guest had the lamb and she raved about how well prepared it was. We really went all out that evening, wine, appetizers, entrees and sides and even finished with dessert and champagne. The chocolate mousse was incredible. I would pass in the pecan pie next time though. We would absolutely return for a very special occasion.

Amazing evening from start to finish. The lobster salad was scrumptious and the corvina for the entrée was delicate and the sauce was amazing. The soufflé was the evening show stopper. The service is exceptional. The piano player is very entertaining. Other guests at the table enjoyed the portabella soup, the duck, filet mignon lasagna for their entrée.

The ultimate fine dining experience! Reminded me of being in New York… very old school feel where there are regulars and they know you by name. We went here on a Monday night about an hour before their closing time. Didn’t have a reservation but called ahead and they were able to fit us in. Service is impeccable… they make you feel like celebrities, which is how fine dining should be. We started with the escargot and caprese salad. Both were underwhelming. Although the mozzarella was fresh I’ve had much more flavorful homemade mozzarella. The puff pastry on the escargot was flakey and wonderful but the escargot itself needed more flavor. For the entrees I had the duck and my boyfriend had the rack of lamb. Both were amazing. Perfectly cooked and perfect flavor. Big portion as well. We shared a side of spinach, which was also good. We were too full for dessert, but had gotten a bottle of Silver Oak, which we’d also highly recommend. Piano player added to the atmosphere. He was a hoot and even took requests. This is definitely a special occasion kind of place… most people were celebrating birthdays. Expect to pay fine dining prices. Worth every dollar… wonderful and memorable experience.

So we went here for a friends birthday without knowing anything about The place, and just wanted to have a nice evening. From the time you walk in it was clearly evident that this was a very classy place. I had the Creole chicken which was to die for, as well as a special which was a gumbo. The waitstaff were great. The food was amazing and the wine selection was exquisite. They had a complementary crème brûlée for the birthday, and the whole ambience was very relaxing. They do have live music with this piano guy but really just in the background so it didn’t get in the way of conversation. I would recommend this place as a spot for ANY special event, or celebration. You do have to be prepared for the fact that the The prices are on the higher side but totally worth it.

Called last night for a last minute table for four. We were lucky and there was a table available. Had a great dinner. My husband had the escargot in puff pastry– fantastic. I had a cup of great lobster bisque. Our friends split the Caesar salad and lobster ravioli — licked the plates clean. Ordered one duck, one Italian plate and two red snapper specials. Everything was delicious — side of cauliflower gratin cooked perfectly along with tender asparagus. Too full dessert so I had cappuccino and a taste of my husbands crème brûlée. Our friends split the bananas foster. Wine and cocktails made for a great dinner. Service was superb, attentive but not obtrusive. Dining room is softly lit and noise level is great for conversation. Loved the piano player. We’ll be back!

My aunt and I, on a vacation to Orlando, decided to splurge on one meal for this weekend. Letting me decide, I wanted something non-chain and different, which proved to be difficult in Orlando. I came upon this restaurant after Unilocal investigations. Driving out here, we drove past it — it’s a tiny restaurant off a large street FULL of chain restaurants. Make reservations as it’s a tiny restaurant. Immediately upon seated, a bus boy brought us water and amuse-bouches of tomato bruschettas, which were delightful and a crisp, simple way to start off our meal. I ordered the Lobster Bisque(cup) and Black Grouper, while my aunt ordered a special appetizer of Pan Fried Escargot in Puff Pastry and the duck breast. Their wine list is also pretty good; I had a glass of Pinot Grigio(they only have one glass per varietal, but that’s standard). They also brought complimentary olives, roasted peppers and starfruit sorbet(as an intermezzo). It was nice to have little, interesting bites along with what we ordered to have our tongues constantly engaged. The lobster bisque was average — I found it a bit too salty and it contained no pieces of lobster. My aunt’s appetizer of escargot was very flavorful; the earthiness of the mushrooms went along with the escargot very well. Our main dishes were pretty good. Her duck was better in my opinion, well-cooked and tender(we ordered medium) and the Black Grouper was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but was a little monotonous for me and even got salty on my tongue halfway in. We split a side of the Sweet Potatoes and they were heavy handed with the cinnamon, so it was VERY sweet. The portion was good though, and perfect to split for vegetables for 2. Now dessert was a true highlight. We had the white chocolate soufflé and this was hands down the best soufflé I’ve had in my life.(It does take 20 minutes to prepare, so let your server know prior. It’s also not on the dessert menu, but they definitely have it.) The top retained shape; the inside was perfectly eggy and soft. They had some cream, raspberries and blueberries(in the dark chocolate shell) to go with it. My server recommended that halfway in, to put the dark chocolate shell inside and let it melt into the remaining soufflé and it was just entertaining. I always think dessert should have a «fun» element, and this definitely was. The dark chocolate version was ooey, gooey deliciousness as well. Even though it’s $ 17, I HIGHLY recommend this. I inhaled this baby down. GETTHIS. My aunt’s cappuccino was great as well. The service was great here — everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. Busboys cleared away plates quickly and refilled waters. It was a bit slow at times, but it’s perfectly understandable in such a small restaurant. The décor is lacking in this restaurant, but I don’t mind that too much. The pianist is interesting, playing his jazzy renditions of many classics. He jazzes things up(literally) a bit too much for my taste, as I am a purist, but it was a good accompaniment to a good dinner. The bathroom has very nice bath salts(coconut?) for washing your hands. There’s also mint chocolate on your way out! Our bill came out to be ~$ 200 after tips and tax, which isn’t RIDICULOUS, considering we ordered a good amount. It is a splurge, but I thought well worth it. Definitely glad I checked this restaurant out, and would recommend it to others.

Wow! Amazing and classy. I almost thought it was closed because it’s hidden away in a dark corner of this building. Had the shrimp gumbo special for soup — a lot of pepper but good.

Good place to eat except it’s overly expensive! $ 17 for a white Chocolate soufflé? That’s totally ridiculous! I should have a asked for the price! Had a great dinner except… Both my sister and I threw up the whole dinner a few hours later. Wonder why? Not a good thing.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday. Absolutely fell in love with it. It’s cute and totally different than what I am used to. We were greeted and attended to very quickly. The menu and specials were explained well. There’s a man playing the piano and singing who was entertaining — he sang a special song for me in celebration of my birthday. The host came by after we finished our entrees and put birthday confetti on the table for me! Food — lots of small bite complements from the chef… My favorite is the mango sorbet. Very small scoop with great flavor! For starters: I order the tomato soup special and my boyfriend ordered the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque definitely had a flavor twist than others I have tried yet still yummy. I rarely get tomato soup but this was exceptional. My boyfriend ordered the Grouper — I had one bite of it so it’s too hard to judge but he finished it and loved it. I ordered the rack of lamb which was very tender and delicious. There’s nothing I didn’t like about anything. My all time favorite of the night: white chocolate soufflé — OMG. That’s all I’m going to say!(& they sang happy birthday for me with a lit candle). Definitely topped off dinner. I can’t wait to come back and try something else.

Absolutely loved this place! There’s a jazzy piano player who takes requests soothing your soul between lusciously presented plates. I would highly recommend the white chocolate soufflé(order 20 minutes ahead because apparently it takes that long to harness HEAVEN).

We recently went to Chatham’s Place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was exceptional. I started with the baked brie while my husband enjoyed the lobster bisque. Both were divine! The flavor profile was extraordinary. For dinner we enjoyed the filet mignon and the rack of lamb. Both were cooked to perfection. We finished off with a slice of chocolate cake. Even better than the food(which is out of this world) is the service. The service makes you feel like royalty, they have truly mastered the art of fine dining and it takes you back to an era that has been forgotten. The piano player got word of my husbands birthday and played a special rendition of Happy Birthday just for him. They go above and beyond in regards to both food and service. This place is a true gem and we look forward to going back again!

Stellar service, delectable dishes and inviting atmosphere. Bottomline, Chatham’s is an inviting and spectacular dining experience for any occasion. The service and atmosphere was remarkable. It is the little details that really add up. Fresh tulips table side, live piano and the most diligent wait staff I have ever experienced. Appreciated the complimentary chef tastings throughout the meal, a nice touch. As a heavy water drinker, I am always impressed when service can keep up with my thirst. Such a simple concept is a good barometer of the attentiveness of the wait staff. The cuisine is traditional American with the occasional modern twist. As such, the menu was portioned on the heavier side as one might expect from such cuisine. We asked if sharing was acceptable(we like to order as many dishes as possible for tasting) and was impressed at their willingness to satisfy. They split just about everything and presented the portions beautifully. The best advice I can offer to anybody visiting such an establishment is to listen to their waiter. A good menu tells a story and the right server can bring it to life. We were steered beginning to end and were quite satisfied with the outcome. Highly recommend Chatham’s Place. It is the perfect Dr. Phillips secret just waiting to be discovered!

Wow… Valentine’s Day at Chathams!!! This was our first visit here and it was so amazing! Everything served just exploded with flavor and the chef’s complimentary adds were timed perfectly! Our appetizers started with a lobster salad that had a garlic cheese dressing which we all loved. The beef carpaccio was creamy and full of flavor and tuna tartare was so fresh. My boyfriend’s filet was cooked perfectly and super tasty. I got the veal special and it was to die for. The mushroom sauce just melted in your mouth! We ordered the white soufflé for dessert and it was perfectly matched with their fresh ground coffee that they served to us with melted white chocolate!!! I can’t wait to come back!

I have heard about this restaurant for years, but never had a chance to visit until this week. We were celebrating my husband and my brother-in-law’s birthday so we had 6 adults and two children aged 8&10 with us. This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had in Orlando. I started out with the Lobster Bisque and several appetizers. My meal was a daily special which was lobster pasta with a crab cake on top. For dessert, I had a white chocolate soufflé. All of the food was amazing and the service was just as good. They treated the kids as good as the adults and my nephew, who rarely likes anything, loved his food(he also had the lobster bisque and pasta). I would highly recommend this restaurant, but be sure you have a reservation.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had, if I could give this place 6 stars I would. It is one of the hidden gems of orlando! You feel like you are walking into a piece of Europe. Maurice, chef tony, the piano player, and our server all deserve praises. A little pricey for me to go there regularly but was definitely worth it for an anniversary treat. Have been back for the white chocolate soufflé though, it’s to die for. BESTDESSERT I EVERHADHANDSDOWN!

Five Stars all way way. Excellent Atmosphere, Romantic but good for a group meal as well. Piano Player/Singer who was awesome. Not intrusive but entertaining background music. Food was incredible. Great selections, nobody at our 14top had a bad dish. My 6oz Filet was done very very nicely. Sides, dessert all great. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Would definitely go again when in Orlando.
