Is there another dive bar better than this? The answer is no. Heavy pour. Indoor smoking. Pool and darts. The definition of a dive bar.

Cleo’s is a great Otown Downtown casual spot. Don’t go there if your looking for or dressed for «da club». That’s next door if your looking for over priced drinks and obnoxious crowd. Plus there are plenty of other spots on Downtown if thats what you’re into. Cleo’s is a downtown locals bar with a good patrons and great ownership, highly recommended if your looking for that «around the way» kinda feel with your drink.
***Side note– the Owner Will does Sunday Football right! Free eats, bloody mary bar and full NFL Package on well laid out HD Big Screens!

I remember Cleo’s being one of the stops in the night when, I believe it was DJ Mot, was on the 1’s and 2’s many years back. And while never a regular, I was still always served quickly and usually with personality above normal expectations. In my opinion, it may be one of the last good ol dives that Downtown Orlando has left that hasn’t sold out to appeal to the new generations who want everything that their inheritances will afford them, and I like that. You walk in, you can hear yourself think, better yet, you can actually enjoy conversations with people. And you can do it seldom without the background noise of bros in a compete fest over who can out drink the other. I also like that.

Cleo’s if the no bs kinda of bar everyone needs in their area. It is a casual bar and there’s nothing fancy about it and that’s exactly what everyone should love about it. It is the best spot to pre-​game before a night at the clubs downtown. There’s a good reason why: the drinks are cheap and strong. Everyone that lives in Orlando knows about the «Cleo’s Pour». 1 Cleo’s drink and you’re feeling great. 2 Cleo’s drinks and you’re ready for the next adventure. Once you get to your third things get fuzzy and although most of the time you will have a great night, know you will be very, very drunk (which is a good thing sometimes). The staff is nice, and the prices are great. Cleo’s gets five stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to: its the perfect spot for a cheap drink and to talk and catch up with friends before you move on to your next spot. A great downtown bar and a place everyone must check whether they live in the area of whether they’re just visiting town.

After visiting the Big Easy Cajun Kitchen for brunch followed by cocktails at Casey on Central, we found Cleo’s. It is a good sized bar with pool tables and darts. A sports bar with lots of televisions. Very casual. Friendly! Outside seating. We enjoyed playing pool and burning off some calories after eating so much for brunch. A fun hidden gem in downtown! The place to play billiards and darts in the downtown area!

Good old Cleo’s. Pretty standard bar, but with good and affordable drinks. It stays pretty busy, but it’s still a comfortable place to go get good drinks downtown. Also one of the last few bars left where you can smoke inside.
Not much else to say, sometimes they have live music, bathrooms are fairly clean, music is not too loud.

The bartenders SUCK! They ruined a very simple vodka and cranberry. Been coming here for awhile without incident, then tonight I got a rude manager. Never had such a poor experience. .too bad for such a decent place.

Cheap strong drinks! It was super packed on the Saturday night that I went, but I’m not surprised. Great place if you don’t wanna blow a bunch of money but still have a good time.

Cleo’s is typically my first stop in any evening adventures downtown. Why? Because they pour seriously strong drinks that don’t cost a fortune.
The bar is made up of two spaces, to the left are pool tables and a couple dart boards and to the right is the main bar area with booths and some open space (I guess people may dance here, but I’ve never paid attention). There is also some seating outside if you don’t like the smoke inside or just want to people watch.
I usually stick to the left side of the bar, as I like to play darts when I’m here.
Service is always very good and the staff is friendly, especially once they get to know you.
So, my advice is stop in and have a drink here to get your night started. It’s a great place to meet up with a group before setting off to other spots.

I love coming out here to chill outside and have a few drinks. They pour strong drinks so be prepared! If you see me there don’t forget to day hi!

Great Bar
Usually not as packed as most others nearby but the drinks are tall and strong .
Also at a very convenient location next to Vain and a block away from wall st. Def a good place to start off or end your night.
Bar tenders are also great. Quick service what else could you ask for.

Do i need to write a review for this place?
If you need to start your bar crawl in downtown or just want a chill place to drank. Come here for strong drinks that won’t break the bank. Pregame here before you overpay at some club, or just chill at the bar to watch a magic game or shoot pool. The weekends obviously get intense and there’s usually old school music playing. You can smoke in here and it is pretty much a dive bar… So if that bothers you…
Grab a drink from the friendly and fast bartenders and sit outside and people watch people stumble back and forth from Church St.

I’ve hit this bar up every time I pass through downtown. The bartenders are awesome and their drinks never disappoint. The music have always been fairly good too.
I’m not a big club person so I shoot for the bars/​lounges with chill people. You get a lot of those people that pregame here and then jump to the club next door after and you also get a lot of those people that can’t get into the club next door so they come here instead. Either way, you’ll have a good time here. The prices won’t hurt your wallet for the amount you drink or the amount you THINK you can drink.
There’s also a room with pool tables and a jukebox! There’s TVs around so you can catch your sports. OH and they have GOLDFISH. If you find the huge variety box of Goldfish lying around the bar, don’t hesitate to ask for some. That’s another reason why the bartenders are awesome lol. They love to share.

Wow how have I not written a Cleo’s review? 5 stars because you know what you get when you come to Cleo’s and you get it every time. Key features would be strong alcoholic beverages, TVs to watch football on, and friendly bartenders. The first of the three would be the reason I frequently go to Cleo’s before beginning a night out. Definitely a place to hang out, get tanked up and head out. Doesn’t hurt the least bit that the prices are more than affordable. Four Horsemen anyone?!

Dive at the jive.
It’s definitely a dive bar with pool tables and dart boards. So don’t expect anything more than just heavy liquors and smoke.
But the one thing that keeps us coming back is the eclectic music the DJ plays as you start your night with the strongest and only drink you’ll have all night.

They have a roomy pool/​dart room if you are in to that. The SEAL TEAM SIX of downtown bartenders will blow your face off with drinks without breaking a sweat. Tango Down.
You can dance if you want to.

If you want a place that will get the job done and get your buzz going immediately, Cleo’s is your spot.
I swear for any drink you order here it is 95% alcohol and 5% of juice, soda, or whatever else is left. hah.
The prices are cheap and you get more than what you would pay for in one drink. I get only one drink and I get tipsy pretty fast (but then again it’s also a given fact that I’m just a light weight. haha)
The place isn’t a fancy bar, so don’t expect it to be classy or anything, it has it’s uniqueness to it but it’s more down to earth and makes you relax. Definitely a good place to dress casual and just chill with whoever you’re with.

As an out-​of-​state visitor, I have no idea what the bars and clubs are suppose to be like…
It seems like Cleo is another grungy bar place that serves a generous amount of alcohol for a great price. The locals seems to love it as it got kinda packed on a Friday night.
The crowd was a mellow as usual since its a bar, people cheering on as they watch sports and what not.
Plenty of seating — Now, thats a plus for me. Cause I’m one lazy son-​of-​a-​bitch.

It’s still a good time with friends but not many places to sit. It’s not a bad place but I wouldn’t go downtown just for this place. But it wasnt as packed as other bars downtown on Friday night.
