Courtyard Maitland

The lobby and restaurant area is great. The room I’m in needs a remodel. But overall the hotel is great!

Friendly front desk staff. The room was clean but starting to need some TLC — the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling. The Bistro is a great place for a meal when you don’t want or have time to eat elsewhere. The limited menu keeps the options fresh. The parking area is very accessible. I would recommend if you are in the area!

People are nice. Everything else is meh.
Cons:
–Room was clean but basic (like a souped up holiday inn)
–Fan in the bathroom was loud and made a constant knocking sound when you turned it off
–No room service but lots of good restaurants nearby

I was a little weary about staying here because of the price, and because I had previously stayed at the Extended Stay next door. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The lobby and hallways have a modern feel and look like they have recently been remodeled. The entire staff was very friendly and willing to help. The room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Great front desk service with a young man that was really pleasant and fun! Our room was perfect, and we enjoyed breakfast in the Bistro the next morning. French Toast is amazing! We are regulars when it comes to staying at Marriott, and this one did not miss the mark.
Only negative thing I could say is that location is a bit tricky to get into.

Nice people … Room was fine. It’s got the new courtyard look and lobby area. Pretty much what you would expect out of a Courtyard… basic but good. Has the Bistro and 24 hr snack area which is nice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The area is nice and quiet.

In many ways, this was a nice, predictable Marriott stay. The lobby has the updated, modern look that we’ve seen at other Courtyards in the past few years.
I had booked online beforehand, requesting a King with Sleeper Sofa. We entered a room with a King and a chair. No big deal, turned around and walked back to the front desk. The desk clerk first insisted that we had indeed been given the sofabed room, but as I insisted that my vision is pretty accurate, he looked it up online and issued a new room. No apologies.
The second room was nice, clean. The furniture was worn — chipped dresser, damaged wood nightstand, and 2 of the couch cushions had been replaced with mismatched chair cushions. Kind of felt like this was the «I don’t care» room.
The pool area was nice. Small but clean pool. Later, when the boy’s basketball traveling team checked in, the pool area was way too small.
I went to the lobby bar/​Starbucks looking for a cup of coffee. There was never an employee working in this area. I went back to the front desk and was told to «hold on» and he would come over to «do Starbucks». I purchased a Diet Coke instead.
Breakfast was good — light — coffee, juice, cereal, fruit.
All in all a decent stay — affordable. Not exactly what I’ve come to expect with Marriott, but not the worst place I’ve ever stay either.

Super nice and friendly location. The remodeled breakfast area is great. The lobby was fresha nd enjoyable. The daily room service was top notch. Make sure if you are staying in the area to give this location a chance.

This is a decent hotel located in a business park. They’re currently upgrading to the new & hip decorating scheme — which is actually really cool. As of ¹⁄₁₂ only the lobby and café areas had been updated. The area around the hotel is not pedestrian friendly although you can walk to a chick-​fil-​et down the street… however don’t try walking to the steakhouse across the highway because there are no sidewalks. The hotel has plenty of parking and is convenient for business.
