Just went there to drop off and wait on a prescription. They said 20 mins and it took 10 – 15. I also purchased other items. Someone even came up to me unprovoked to ask me if I needed help finding anything. Not as bad as some of the previous reviewers stated. I gave it a 4⁄5 bc the parking is not ideal.

A great CVS store to go to when you’ve got that crave for some Pringles.

My go-to CVS for my medication and other random needs. Everyone is friendly, and they have come to treat me as their regular, which is always nice. They are always quick with refills and the text alert service has been useful for my forgetful self. The pharmaceutical staff has also always been attentive to my normal questions for non-prescription meds.

Save yourself and go to another pharmacy. This was my go-to pharmacy since it’s in the neighborhood, location was right, and the staff was friendly so I was willing to overlook that they were constantly understaffed at the checkout counter. Recently(the past few months) it’s gone severely downhill and they have major customer service problems with the pharmacy. I waited 30 minutes for a flu shot today while listening to the pharmacy employees gossip and complain about how a customer wanted to have their pharmacist license revoked for filling a prescription that they were allergic to(umm what happened to patient privacy?). The pharmacy technicians also have an attitude — they talk down to the customers(saying things like«it’s really not that complicated» and«you should be able to figure it out») — didn’t these folks go to a professional school to learn how to do their job? Maybe they don’t teach bedside manner in pharmacy school but I would at least hope that the CVS management team would instill some customer service values in their employees. I’m going to spare myself and go to the new Walgreens down the street from now on solely due to the rudeness of the pharmacy staff at this CVS.

A typical CVS store — nothing more, nothing less. This location has an entrance on Edgewater, but I believe it’s locked after 6pm. Just go straight to the main door which is accessible from the parking lot behind the building. Also, note this is NOT a 24 hour location. If you need a late-night drugstore, you’ll have to go to the Walgreens across from Edgewater High School.
