I was so overwhelmed and excited to walk around this store! They have everything you could ever need for cake baking and decorating. They have all kinds of boxes and inserts that I thought I would have to order online especially for cupcakes. They also have a whole wall of just cookie cutters! I could spend hours in there looking at everything!

A truly helpful and well stocked place for anyone throwing a party. From the outside this looks like a nondescript strip mall store. I feel like this place is a locals only secret. If you need to prep for a party or any food related event this is a professional quality supply store for packaging and presentation. There are food molds and cookie cutters, lots of dessert flavor mixtures and decorations for baking. The supplies here seem endless.
D & G has a lot of wedding related items like cake toppers, cake pedestals, and fancy glassware. As I looked around the store I found decorations for pretty much any event you can dream up. One of my favorite unusual items in this store are sugar toppings for desserts that are molded into unique shapes. If you’re looking for a way to make your desserts prettier, pick up some tiny flowers made of real dyed sugar. They are so cute. Really like this place and I have found many items here that I cannot find at any other party supply store.

I’ve been coming here since the 1990’s. I have really seen this place change! In a good way. I used to come here for party supplies for the church I work for. They have plastic colored table clothes, plates, utensils, etc… If you are looking for a themed party supplies they have a huger selection here.
What I shop for now is pastry supplies. I teach Pastry Arts at Valencia College and they have a lot of supplies that I can use for school. They have a huge supple of cookie cutter, baking pans (I have really seen this selection grow over the years), cupcake wrappers, speciality ring molds, knives, off-​set spatulas, piping bags, isomalt nibs, shimmer sprays etc!
They have a great selection of molds. Now these aren’t poly-​carbon molds but cheap plastic. And I’m okay with that. Because I usually need a special kind of shape (the last one I bought was sea shells for some white chocolate I tempered for a wedding cake). They have them hanging up but they also have them in filing cabinets. If you can’t find an exact shape just ask their staff and they can help you.
They have Satin Ice fondant which is a good brand. They also have Nielsen-​Massey Vanillas. A huge selection from Madagascar, Mexican, and Tahitian. From extracts to paste to sugars. They also have gum paste flowers for sale. They have a board on the wall and you can pick the one you want by a number.
I have bought their turn tables before and they are very well built and will last a long time. If you are looking for piping tips they are behind the counter. Ask them to look in their catalog for the number of tip that you need because they have a large selection. They also have a large selection of bakery boxes and boards… for cupcakes too!
If you need helium balloons they’ve got them here. What a selection! They are way in the back past the wedding cake stands.
What I find funny is the janitorial supplies that they have for sale. I am not sure what that has to do with cake/​candy/​party supplies but they have them.
Just to let you know:
1. They are closed on Sunday
2. They close at 4 pm on Saturday
3. $ 10 minimum on all credit card purchases
The staff has always helped me when I have any questions. They aren’t overly friendly but I have never had any one be rude.

Amazing for my cupcake decorating! I found everything I needed at decent prices I didn’t mind paying. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing equiptment of this nature.

Very rude owner and I saw rodent droppings and bugs I am guessing are mealy bugs. I would shop anywhere else and there are plenty of other Indian groceries I noticed that some of the reviews sounded too much like ads posted by the owner. Beware.

Great selection of baking supplies and great prices. If your looking to stock up this is the place. If your looking for friendly service this isnt your place. The ladies up front are very crabby and hate kids! They almost seemed annoyed by my questions.

They have a lot of baking supplies but are all outdated and dusty. Customer service is nonexistent. You’re best bet is to shop at Michael’s or Fondant Source discount. Prices are similar and product is far more superior at Michael’s or Fondant Source. I wasted my time driving to this place!

My go to place for cheap bakery boxes and take out containers in any size that I am looking for!
They have ton of party supplies, some a bit over price, but this store has practically everything you could possible ever need.
You do need to spend at least $ 10 in order to use a credit card if not bring cash!

D&G is usually my go to place whenever I need a specific item for whatever various events that I am planning for the moment.
Do you need an elmo candle for a 1 yr old’s birthday cake?
Yes, they have it stock.
Do you need seashell candy molds to help adorn a beach themed wedding cake?
Yes, they have different size molds to help fit your preferences.
Do you need specific colored tissue paper to make tissue pom pom decorations for that special luncheon for so and so?
Yes, they have several different colors in stock.
Do you need 100+ take-​out boxes for a gathering?
Yes, they have several different sized containers of paper, plastic, or foam.
For every single time I go to D&G, they always have what I’m looking for, and if not then I can ask the nearest employee for some assistance. The associates that I have encountered were helpful when asked the right questions. Quick note, I feel that the website does not do the store front justice. If you are the type to disregard a place because of their website, then don’t make that mistake with this place.

Although they have a great supply of items that you won’t find anywhere else in the area — the poor customer service makes me reluctant to go there. Plus a ridiculous return policy and overpriced for items that you could find at Joanns or michaels.
I only go there when I absolutely have to find something. But after today I may just order online

I was VERY unhappy with my last visit here. I bought a few things because I was planning to bake a cake for my daughter’s birthday but I realized it would be easier to order it so I came back with everything sealed, still in their original condition, and w/​o even looking through my things, she (the owner), pushed my stuff aside and said I can’t return any of my things. I knew they had to be strict on certain food items but all but one of my items still had seals and/​or tags on them. There is no way I could’ve used them and returned them. She has always been very cold towards customers, not just me. The guy owner though, is very nice and helpful. Even the employees are nice. I know I didn’t catch her on a bad day because that would mean every time I go or my family and friends go, she’s having a ‘bad’ day. I feel that if she presented herself differently in that situation, it would have been a lot better. The one thing she did allow me to return were columns for the cake but when I told her I didn’t have my receipt and I could just take store credit, she was just like, «nope, can’t do that». I was like, «what??». I couldn’t believe it… Then she took my bag and said she’ll hold on to it while I look around like I’m going to steal things and put it in my bag or something…
So if you ever go there, make sure you are certain you are going to use it make sure you have the right coloring for dyeing your foods. I bought the wrong type of blue for my daughter’s cake and I couldn’t even exchange it for the right blue. Now I’m stuck with a whole bunch of supplies and colorings that I do not need!
I am a very understanding person, so if someone with good customer service explains to me their policy, I’d usually understand but when they’re rude or cold, it gives off a totally different vibe.
So this place does have good supplies and employees… Just make sure you know what you really need and find the right person to help you, if you want a good experience.

I love this place, they have everything you need for baking, candy making, cookie baking, party supplies etc. If you can’t find what you are looking for, the staff is very knowledgeable and will help you out. I started baking cakes about 6 years ago. I had no idea what i was doing and explained to one of the staff members my ideas. He actually took the time and went over everything I needed. Showed me different websites for ideas.
If you are just starting out with making cakes, candies, or party planning. This should be your first starting point. Forget about Michael’s and Joann’s go straight to the pros. You won’t be disappointed with anything they sell.

I had an event coming up and needed a teddy bear cookie cutter. I called and asked if they had a large selection of cookie cutters and the man on the other end of the phone replied «the largest selection in Orlando.» I asked their hours and went the next day.
I unfortunately got a little lost on the way there and arrived probably minutes after they closed and locked the door. I noticed there were still people checking out so I figured maybe I could wait til they opened the door and just ask if I could go grab the cookie cutter real quick. The owner opened the door and asked what I needed. Not only did he say it was ok that I go get the cookie cutter but he led the way and showed me all the different ones. They don’t just have one of every cookie cutter, they have what you need in different sizes and designs. All of them take up an entire wall! They had like 4 or 5 different kinds of teddy bear cookie cutters. I was amazed! I can’t wait to go back. I could see myself spending hours here.

D & G is a baking supply store located on Herndon Ave, 1 block south of Colonial Drive. (Near Fashion Square Mall area, around the corner from Sea Thai.) A friend was helping out with a wedding and needed some cake supplies, I immediately thought of D & G.
The store has expanded a bit from the last time I was in, more party goods and a balloon section. The cake supplies are still awesome, I was able to grab cake boards, boxes, a 8 lb tub of buttercream frosting, raspberry filling and other supplies quickly and easily. There are tons of flavorings, fondant, supplies, pans, candy molds… you name it. Their online catalog will give you a good general idea of the stock, but call first if you need a specific items as all online items are not regularly updated.
Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s VERY easy to get distracted and wander around for awhile, so plan for some extra time. :)

I could spend all day in here. This place has an amazing selection of cake related items. I had a lot of fun checking out everything from bakery boxes, to metallic-​looking plastic hors d’œuvre forks, to madeleine pans. I picked up some 5″ cake pans for pretty cheap.
One complaint:
There is a $ 10 minimum for using debit cards. This left me frantically looking for something worth $ 1.50 in the checkout area. This place would probably make a killing if they put candy near the registers. I had to settle with a bag of self-​rising flour within grabbing distance.

This is the only baking supply shop I’ve been able to find in Orlando since I moved here. Their website is really fantastic and gave me an excellent idea of what they were all about before I even got there. I was in for a surprise, though. They are way more stocked with goodies than I thought. Imagine my amazement at finding a huge bottle of Nielsen-​Massey Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Extract for about a dollar an ounce. Considering it’s about $ 25 for a few ounces at Williams-​Sonoma and Sur La Table, it’s a steal! They’re also an approved Wilton supplier so they have just about everything Wilton makes. I would visit D & G before visiting any sort of party supply store since they have all sorts of themed party supplies including cupcake decorations for all occasions. They even have huge containers of restaurant-​grade ranch dressing — you can’t find that in any grocery store! I talked to the owner and he’s a really nice guy. They’ve been working hard on their website and I told him to check out Unilocal.Hopefully more people will review his store and this can be a good way for him to get customers. It’s a mom and pop kind of shop and I really dig that.
