I’ve been about ten times and this was my last! Every time I go to this Denny’s there is ALWAYS a problem! Not only do you wait 50 minutes to get any food, the food you receive is not even your order! They always mess up your order no matter how simple it is; if you order steak well done they serve it to you raw, not medium well, raw! They burn french fries and bacon. I’ve had gravy spilt on me in front of a date before and was not offered any napkins to at least clean myself. They have ants on the back tables another time I took my mother. I mean this place is terrible. Worst of all they expect you to pay full price for all of the mistakes they made. Save your clothes, wallet, and time and go somewhere else. You will be disappointed and embarrassed in front of anyone you take out for a good time!

Your average Denny’s here. Food was exactly what you expected, service was okay. Orders the«Crazy Spicy Skillet». It wasn’t very spicy but it did taste pretty good. It was on a menu with all kinds of things with eggs but it didn’t actually have any eggs, unless you have the big specials menu it’s unclear what all the limited time skillets actually include. Nonetheless, i’m glad I ordered it. Will come here again!

Meh… overpriced(think they overcharged me a few bucks, but I wasn’t in the mood to argue or look like a penny pincher), eggs were undercooked, french toast looked like it came from someone else’s plate the day before, place was dirty, bathrooms were dirty, server was nice. Will never go back to this location. Usually have really good experiences at Denny’s!

Three friends and I went here today and it was a disappointment. Food took over 35 minutes to get to us. When it did we could tell all of our food had been sitting and was cold. We asked to have our food remade and the second plates were just as cold as the first. Other tables seemed to be having the same issues. Won’t be going back to this location.

My server was Rhea After waiting 10 to 15 minutes after placing my order, she came back & said the cook was doing dishes & didn’t see my ticket! She offered a soup or salad while I waited. Meanwhile, the manager & another server were at a side table chatting. The manager came by during my meal & said he didn’t know anything about the cook missing my ticket. He was very apologetic & offered a free dessert. I told him the server gave me a free soup, he said a soup or salad comes with the meal! So the server failed to offer a soup or salad when I placed my order & then tried to act like she was doing me a favor by giving me a «free» soup. The manager suggested I try the turtle cheesecake, I did and it was very tasty! I noticed extra chairs were stored in front of the emergency exit… Not Good… As noted on other reviews, it appears they have a high employee turn-over(Rhea’s probably no longer there.) The few times I’ve been there(for dinner) they were never busy. I assume they make a killing at breakfast, otherwise they’d never be able to remain open… and Denny’s breakfasts are always excellent!

I wish their was a no stars option. I was so upset with my service I download Unilocal on my phone so I can write this review before I get home. I have been going to Denny’s for years and this experience has been by far the worst experiences that I ever had in a restaurant. It all started with the confusion between the waiters. One young lady with braids introduced herself to us and to tell you the truth I wish she was our waiter. Just watching her work and her Demeanor she looked like a great waiter. Getting back to the experience our waiter was also the greeter at the front door. First and foremost she did not introduce herself so we did not know her name. She then took our orders which was probably about the only thing she did right. When she came out with our appetizers we had to ask for plates. The thing was we had to ask another waiter for our plates. Then our waiter came out with only 2 plates for 4 people sharing one appetizer. So two of us had to eat out of one plate. We asked for waters and it was the same thing. We got only two waters and again we had to ask another waiter for the other two cups of water. I understand as a waiter you have to multi– task but I should not have to feel that you are multitasking because you are neglecting my table. When the entrees came out. The waiter came out with only the kids meals and said nothing about how much longer the other two meals would take. After waiting another 15 minutes with no food again we had to Flag down another waiter because our waiter was too occupied to check up on us. When she passed us, not came to check up on us, I asked«her what is taking our food so long» and in return she replied«oh it’s done I just have to go get it», which then really made me upset. Their was no communication no apology no nothing. When she finally arrives with the food she gave me the wrong plate. I told her this doesn’t look like my order I believe you gave my wife my food. She proceeded to convince me that it was my dish so I began add my condiments. My wife did the same. The waiter never asked if we needed anything else and rushed off. So again we had to flag her down to get some Tabasco sauce. After my wife finished dousing her plate I then released that I was right. The waiter did indeed give me the wrong order. My omelette was the philly cheese steak and I order the meat lovers. So after me and my wife switched I was forced to eat her plate filled with Tabasco sauce. Spicy food gives me IBS. I would have asked the waiter to replace my food but I feared we would be sitting their for another 30 minutes waiting for my food and I was already ready to leave and I did not even touch my entrée. I find this ridiculous seeings how when I said I wanted the meat lovers she replied ” oh that’s my favorite”. How can this have been your favorite if you can not decipher it from any other omelette. Which brings me to my next issue. So we finally begin eating and the food was horrible. They placed a SLICE of deli cut American cheese, on what they considered to be an omelette. I asked for Swiss cheese. What kind of chef does not know the difference between cheeses. The questionable omelette resembled a deconstructed quesadilla. It was in no way shape or form consistent with any other Denny’s I have ever been to before. If this was my very first time going to a Denny’s the food alone other than the terrible service would have detoured me from returning. So again the waiter was not attentive and when she finally returns she comes back with the bill INHANDALREADY and ask me if we would like anything else. I said to my wife she made that decision for me before she FINALLY returned to our table. So we declined any additional service. You would think the story ends here but no. I waited a good 5 minutes for someone to come to the register so I can pay my bill. This was really unacceptable since the restaurant was far from busy. I complete my bill by adding a 2 dollar tip just because I understand the struggle waiters go through not because she provided a service, or anything remotely resembling being waited on. The cashier takes the bill with the very legibly written sum and added an extra dollar tip to the total. I was pissed. He says«Opps I did see that you put 2 dollars can I just give you a dollar and we can call it even». This was the last straw and the icing on the cake to complete what is the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant ever. What about the end of the paper work when they cash in. The receipt I signed is not consistent with the Debit card charge. This entire restaurant other than the nice young waiter with the long braids needs a complete change. New cook, new greeter, new everything. I’m still pissed. I can not believe he messed up my bill when it was written in front of him clear as day. This was the most atrocious misrepresentation of such a large wonderful food chain.

My BFF wanted his French fry fix from Denny’s today. Well after seeing the conditions of the store I would normally frequent we chose to check out the one on Semoran today. When we arrived we saw a homeless person camped out in front of the store begging for money as we walked in. Not a very good first impression but in all fairness, he was below the window and the manager probably did not notice him. We wanted a booth near the window and unfortunately the table we sat at was not cleaned very well. There was still food on the table but the table was quickly cleaned down for us. We ordered coffee but it seemed to take a while. I could see the server was making a fresh pot which was great but you would expect there to be coffee ready like the other stores. Our server seemed very nice but she did not seem very happy that all we ordered was coffee and a large fries. Since my friend loves his ketchup, I checked the bottle only to find an empty bottle on the table. When the fries were brought to the table it was clear this was just a side order of fries and he requested a LARGE fries. I am aware that Denny’s only has the side of fries but the other stores will offer a double order as a «large» for the up charge. When I said something the server just said they only have the one size and just asked if he wanted to order a second order. She should have made that clear at the time of order. Our coffee was refilled one time and she took the empty plate and offered us the check. Well that was when the service stopped. My BFF wanted more coffee and tried a couple of times to get the server’s attention to no avail. At that point we simply chose to go somewhere else for coffee. I spoke to the manager before leaving to let him know about the experience. In my youth I have waited tables so I am usually a very generous tipper. As a general rule of thumb I rarely leave less that $ 5 on the table even if I am having a $ 2 cup of coffee. I have never forgotten what it feels like to be in their shoes. Overall the store could have been better maintained but this is now the second Denny’s I have been to in the area with cleanliness issues. I am NOW sitting in IHOP while writing this and this store is IMMACULATE and the server has been on his game. I have never been to this IHOP before but you can bet I will be going there from now on. Straight up… I will be taking an extended vacation from Denny’s until they clean their stores and get back to offering the service that made me a regular at the other store.

Since we live behind here we eat here quite often, however their service at best usually is mediocre. 9 out of 10 times this place is super dead unless it is a holiday(like today) or after Sunday mass since the church is next door. Most of the times when we call to place orders, no one answers, it takes forever for them to answer, or the line is busy(one time I came up here and the manager was having a grand old time on a personal call. great business etiquette, not!) Also when we get to go I have to always check the order because more times then not the order is wrong. Today(New Years Day) since I know they were going to be busy I tried to call and place an order, I never got through(i assume they took the phone off the hook) after an hour of trying ended up just coming up to order. So I place my order and I am told it will be at least 30 mins, but what baffles me is looking around the restaurant they have numerous tables empty, but an hour wait and a ton of people waiting(2 groups of people walked out since they had been waiting over a half hour already while i was placing my order). They are severely understaffed as usual(they cant seem to keep people here, very high turnover) and they have recently changed management, however I have not seen much of an improvement from before. With this being said we still come here because we do enjoy the food when it is done right and the convenience, we just don’t expect much as far as anything so don’t be shocked with what you get here.

I visited this particular Denny’s for breakfast after having a spontaneous moment to get out; for I usually only visit restaurants for lunch or dinner meals. My waiter, Kathy was amazing and the food was delicious; 2 rather fluffy pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 sunny side up eggs, and well-done hash browns. The serving was more than I expected; for when I used to eat at Denny’s in California in the 90’s the pancakes weren’t as big and fluffy. I was so full after finishing my meal that I didn’t feel like doing anything afterwards. I visited on a Wednesday morning around 11am so it was rather empty so I was seated immediately upon arrival. I will definitely treat myself to a hearty breakfast at this location at least once a month. «Definitely 5 stars and a thumbs up!!!»

This location is hit or miss with service. The servers are always polite, but frequently this location is understaffed. I formerly said I wouldn’t be back to this location, but Denny’s pancakes have a way of pulling me back in!

This place did the trick. Looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast before heading to work. Got good service from Jessica. Food was cooked as ordered. Nothing spectacular but consistent. Coffee stayed hot and fresh thanks to the waitress.

I’ve only dined at Denny’s three times in my life, but I can see it provides a great family atmosphere. The $ 2, $ 4, $ 6 and $ 8 menus are are great way to savor their food on a budget. I’ve never seen this done at any other sit-down restaurant. However, I wish they had more options from their healthy menu. I like their Fit Fare chicken avocado sandwich.

I don’t know what it is about Denny’s. Every time I go there, I usually have to wait several minutes to get seated. In May, I had breakfast at a Denny’s in Daytona Beach on A1A. It took me several minutes to be seated, about ten minutes for my food to arrive, and a few more minutes for my pancakes after I had to point that out to my waitress, who went on to blame the hostess who brought my food. Why blame her? She is having to do YOUR job! I contacted Denny’s online and took a survey that a waitress from the Daytona location informed me about. No. A different waitress. My waitress could not even ask if I wanted a refill in my coffee mug. Back to the survey. Upon completion, you are given a number to write on your receipt. Take it in to Denny’s, and you get a free Slam breakfast with a beverage purchase. So a few weeks ago, I took my receipt to the Denny’s on Semoran and went in for breakfast. As I entered, there was a waitress and a manager trying to figure out a problem a customer had on her bill. This took several minutes. During this time, two other parties came up to the register to pay for their meal, and a family of four came in after me. After five minutes, no server came up to offer me or the family of four a table. A diner who was waiting to check out asked for assistance, only to be yelled at by the manager. The problem with the check took almost ten minutes to handle. Chances are is that the customer he was dealing with over the check was most likely a problem customer, but to keep several people waiting to pay for a check? There should be another register for these situations. The waitress left the manager and went about her business while another manager was sweeping the floor. Several other waitresses walked about the restaurant. And not one could seat me? Or the family of four that left the restaurant? After the problem was resolved, the other diners were taken care of. The family of four had since left, but I was finally seated. I showed the waitress my coupon, and she told me that I could order four items from the Grand Slam menu. So I ordered two eggs, two sausage links, two pancakes, and two slices of wheat toast. As far as the food was concerned, I have always had a great breakfast at Denny’s. And no problem here. The breakfast came out within five-ten minutes, the eggs where cooked right, and everything was hot. After I finished, my waitress asked me if I would like more coffee. I was ready to leave, but I thanked her for offering, and went up to the cashier. And sure enough, there was a problem with my check. D’oh! According to the manager, the coupon entitled me to three items instead of four, so I would have to pay for the pancakes along with my beverage. I did not say anything since the bill was still lower than what I would have had to pay for the full breakfast. But a server tells me that I am allowed four items from the breakfast menu. Then when I go to the register to pay for my meal, I am informed of a problem with my check and asked to pay more? I think I should have been informed of this, but not charged for the pancakes. And then after the manager notices my old receipt from the Daytona Beach location, she starts asking me about the Denny’s in Daytona Beach. You have several diners waiting to check out because of another diner’s problem, no one seating guests as they arrive, plates and silverware still sitting out on tables after people leave, servers that are ill informed on company coupons/promotions, and a manager that got surly with a guest just because that person had to wait more than five minutes to check out and needed to leave? I would not be concerned about the Denny’s in Daytona Beach.

Almost two weeks ago on a Wednesday night I stopped in a local Denny’s in the Orlando, Florida area right off of Semoran boulevard, just minutes away from the airport, to grab a late dinner. Shortly after arriving and being seated I noticed right away that the diner was not at all too busy but the number of tables occupied was less than seven. Two servers working the shift saw where I was seated and we made eye contact. Five minutes passed by and I wasn’t even once approached and asked for my drink order. Before I knew it another ten minutes had passed and still no server. As I looked over to my right I noticed a shift manger. I got out of my seat and approached her. I asked her if she was the manager, and with her quick response she said that«Yes she was». I had briefly told her that I had been seated 15 minutes ago and not once in those 15 minutes had a server come to my table, to take my order. All the manger could tell m was that she could take my order if I was ready. She did not even apologize, or have any other concerns. I found this to be very poor customer service on her behalf. Managers are supposed to keep their crew busy, gainful and productive. Above all making sure the customers are satisfied. Unfortunately, for her and this establishment it seemed that this was the least of their concerns and I decided to leave.

It was A-OK… Me and my mom ordered the nacho supreme and split it… But some of the chips were stale… we didn’t complain to anyone about it, even when the manager came around and asked how we were doing. We just didn’t feel like having them make it over, we were hungry then. so we dealt with it. The service was alight… Nothing special at all, but nothing horrendous either.

Yes i have impressed my mom. She said this is the first time i’ve seen you eat everything on your plate! lol! I love breakfast! The Denny’s is one of the few that still offer a free breakfast on your birthday. I’m all about the free food! As long as i’ve been coming here, the food service is quick and the staff is awesome. I’ve never really tried anything but their breakfast, probably won’t. This month they are all about the bacon. i have a not so secret love affair with bacon. They have bacon pancakes, a bacon milkshake(sounds kinda gross, but bacon tastes good in everything). I had two eggs, 6 strips of bacon, hash browns and toast. All for 6.99. Well it was actually free since it was my birthday! lol!
