Awesome beer prices and my fiancée hates it! Bartender went out of her way to draw attention to cleavage. Will definitely return!

I used to enjoy coming to this place. It can’t seem to make up their mind on what they want to be. It was The Dive Bar then Pier something now back to The Dive Bar. Their beer selection is terrible and they closed their kitchen. I won’t be back. unless they decide to change their mind again and become something better.

I’m sad to say Dive Bar is no more. It’s the same owners and the same atmosphere but they’ve changed the name to Pier 63 and changed the menu to all sea food! Unfortunately we had drink and leave. Our waitress was fantastic and we had a good time despite the change!

I’m late in writing this review, and I’m finding that this place is a little unmemorable. I got some kind of mac and cheese sandwich. Which was great going down but a giant mistake. Ok, I really don’t regret it. I just realized I should have because I ate the whole thing. The have digital jukeboxes but none of our songs played. I did like high top tables.

As a downtown worker, I have eaten lunch here about a half dozen times, and I am continually impressed with the Dive Bar food. Yes it is a primarily greasy, late-night menu aimed at drinkers, but they have plenty of healthier options too. They make some of the best fish tacos I’ve eaten downtown… and there are a lot of Mexican places downtown. I also am a fan of their roast beef sandwich, which is pressed and served with homemade cabbage cole slaw. The staff is friendly and attentive(not like some bars where they treat lunch patrons as an afterthought to the day drinkers). Check out their Thursday day deals, often times lunch entrees are going for ½ off. Well worth it, even at full price, IMHO…

I’ve been to Dive Bar a couple times now within the past year or so. Each time that I’ve come, it’s been with friends for the $ 20 All You Can Eat crab legs on Wednesday nights. Service isn’t bad at all. For the AYCE, the server was pretty good at keeping up with doing re-orders at the right time. When it starts getting busy is when the wait is a bit longer, but that’s understandable. The crab legs themselves were pretty good. One time that I went, they actually ran out of crab legs. The waitress actually said that they had to run out to Publix to buy out the rest of the crab legs there.(weird, I don’t think that the server should be saying where they get their food, but whatev. Publix is fine with me) My only complaint is that the chairs and benches are really uncomfortable. The chairs are wobbly and the benches are like steel boxes. The edges of them hurts my bum-bum after a while. :(

This place is one of my favorite bars to hang out at. Dive Bar is a great place to party on a Friday or Saturday night. And it’s a great place to just sit back and relax and watch whatever game is on on the many tvs on a weeknight or a Sunday Funday. I definitely recommend trying the food. I’ve tried multiple things on the menu and only have great things to say about everything I’ve tried. My favorites are the mac n cheese and the mahi bites. From my experience the service is always friendly and prompt in getting you whatever you need. I sit at the bar and my drink is always replaced before I even finish my first one. If you make it in on a weekday they have some great specials, like AYCE crab legs for $ 20 on Wednesdays(delicious by the way) and free«kill the keg» Bud lite drafts on Tuesdays. Overall this place may seem like a typical bar from the outside, but the food and bartenders will keep you coming back.

So, I’ve ate here quite a few times and I have never been disappointed with their food. I usually will get the popcorn mahi bites, which are incredibly good, especially for bar food. Dive bar’s menu in general is pretty different from a lot of bars I’ve been to around that area. Sometimes food will take a little bit longer than it should but the staff is always good about letting you know before hand. They also do all you can eat crab legs on Wednesday for $ 20. As for drinking, not many specials but they do have a FREE keg on Tuesdays and $ 5 pitchers all day on Saturday. I probably know a little too much about this place because I do go there at least once a week. Weekends are a hit or miss, you never know what kind of vibe you’re going to get. Sometimes it will be a rowdy younger crowd and other times it will be a business crowd just getting some drinks after work. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends or anyone looking for a dive bar to have a fun time and eat some great food!

Been here three times. First time was great. Had a table and server was excellent. Even had food. Last two times, sat at bar, and felt invisible. Took forever to get first drink(which was tipped in cash upon delivery), second drink practically had to be begged for, so thankfully convinced my company that third drink did not need to happen. Second time was«Free Keg» night which was exactly that, when you can get it. Sitting at the bar, I got sober before I got drinks. Bartenders spent more time talking in a corner then serving. I know its free beer, and its not your fault your manager decided on this promo, but if you’re fast and attentive and throw a party, you can still make quite a bit of money.

This bar was featured on DRINK magazine’s monthly free happy hour. They had fantastic food on the free buffet, spirals, wings, chicken fajitas, large chilled shrimp, and more. The bar itself was great, I hope it makes it! So many places downtown come and go so fast. Recommendation, do some sort of free munchies(hot food) for happy hour on Fridays and you will thrive. No one downtown has that anymore!

We stumbled upon this place accidentally and it was a pleasant surprise! We went in for lunch one day when another place we had picked ended up being closed. Our server was really friendly and enthusiastic. The place was really low key with tv’s on and just a few other people sitting at the bar. I was hesitant to order food at first, but really glad I did. We ordered the mahi bites as appetizers and they were delicious! I ordered the soup & sandwich as my entrée. Both were amazing and I could not get enough of them! They also had cheap pitchers available, but we did not order any. I can’t speak to the nightlife atmosphere at Dive Bar, but I definitely recommend it for a quiet, delicious lunch!

Vacationed in Orlando for 8 days and ended up here 4 out the 8 days. The food is great and the service is five star; thanks Jamie!!! You must try the Angry Bird! It’s the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had and Los Angeles is hard to beat!

I have been wanting to try this new spot downtown and I finally got the chance on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago in December. I went with a group of 10+ people around 8:00 pm. Vibe — dark atmosphere and low key. If you want to go to a bar where you can hold a conversation this is the place. Drink specials — pitcher of budlight for $ 5. The bartender was very nice and I believe he was the owner. Overall, the place was average.

This is an interesting bar directly across from Ibar downtown. Ample tables, great service, good beer selection, and the food was very good. I tried the blackened mahi sandwich with a side order of fruit. The mahi portion was huge and probably would have made for a good meal even without the bread. I think this is a really good option downtown if you are looking for a bite to eat in an environment where you can actually hold a conversation.

I’m not sure what I think of this place just yet. I went for an event about a month ago on a Friday around 7:00 and it was pretty packed and they were playing awesome throwback 90’s music. The second time I went was on a Friday once again around 8:00 and it was completely dead. They also didn’t have any good drink specials. We ended up with the $ 5 buckets of Bud Light, which isn’t the best beer in the world. The music this time wasn’t very good either. I would have much rather been down the street back at Pourhouse. One thing I did like was that they had Kona Longboard on draft for $ 2.50 on Thursdays. They also have a pretty full menu and serve lunch and dinner. Although I am not sure if the food is any good since I haven’t gone there to eat. I would go back here if I were looking for a fairly quiet and empty place to talk and hang out with my friends. If you’re looking for a loud place where you can dance and meet people… this isn’t the place to do it.
