Was looking for my beloved drive through. Betos café. And ended up on the wrong side of OBT the location is a bit off setting but the food was pretty decent, their steak was cut up into little bits, and the server brought out complimentary chips and salsa. be warned! This salsa is VERYHOT!

Just stopped in for some authentic Mexican food. Love it! Great flavors, definitely no canned ingredients here. Service could use some improvement, very basic and waitress had to be flagged down if we wanted extras, didn’t seem to know to come back and check on us or refill glasses. Played pool for a few hours in the back and enjoyed several varieties of Latin music. Get new pool tables though! These were pretty dirty, torn green, but still functional. A nice little hole in the wall getaway from tourist attractions. The food alone is enough to come back and is what I’m giving all the stars for :)

It’s definitely authentic. Nobody here speaks English, so be prepared to bust out your high school Spanish skills. They used to make fresh guacamole, when you would order it you could watch them grab an avocado and make it in the back. They recently remodeled and you can’t really see into the back anymore, and then the guacamole that came out was a pale green/brown as opposed to the vibrant green you want it to be. I got tacos con carne asada. They’re good, they were the best tacos I had had in Orlando until I found border grill. Now, I only come here when I crave Mexican and border grill is closed. I didn’t finish the tacos because the meat was sort of fatty. There is a lot of meat in every taco so even if it weren’t fatty I would have gotten full. The burritos come out covered in a sauce and cotija cheese. The burrito was tasty although way too big. Good enough to take home. We also got carne asada in those. The chips are really good. That’s my favorite part of this place. The chips are so fresh! You can totally taste that. Since they remodeled it has definitely gotten more busy, there’s music and a dance floor and even a pool table. A regular Mexican hangout. Although I felt out of place only eating and not partying. I’ll probably hold my cravings until border grill opens next time. I like that much better.

Random stop for Mexican food near Orange Blossom trail, I was hungry for Mexican and I knew there was plenty around this area so I was told about this place by someone but last time he came he told me the tacos al pastor had to much fat in the meat, this time I went back and with the same person. We had a Torta witch is like a sandwich but in Mexico they use a different type of bread, his had al pastor and mine had milanesa witch is breaded steak. It had avocados, tomatoes and onion, lettuce, mustard. It was pretty good and tasty and was made fresh as i tasted the meat i can tell it was not siting in the back for hours and just thrown in to a piece of bread as i though it would be in this hole in the wall restaurant with a mini grocery store next to it. On the side I had a cows tongue taco witch was not to bad but by the time I ate it, it got cold but it did not taste to bad. Over all the food was good, but not the best and the service was good because we got served by this beautiful Colombian girl who at first was not to friendly but then we got her to loosen up, we were the only ones eating besides a couple of other people playing pool, yes they have pool tables and a machine that plays music no Karaōke like stated before by someone. The shop next to it, had some good Mexican goodies like chips and salsa and produce and also ice cream, nothing to fancy but I did find some chips I could not find here but are popular in Mexico, this is the only place I have been able to find this chips so that gave this place and extra star. I gave it four starts only because the food was decent and the place had music inside making it more enjoyable, but the place looks like it’s old and had barely no one inside. This place is easy to spot on Orange Blossom trail road just be careful this is a very bad area of Orlando. The price here are also pretty cheap: The Torta I had only cost $ 5.00 bucks and it feels you up unless you are really hungry a taco and torta will do the trick. I also had«Agua de Orchata» witch is a drink made out of rice, this was not the best I have had but it was not the worse still drinkable and over all two people eat for $ 18.00 bucks(two meals + drinks)

Made a random stop here one steaming hot day looking for a mexican joint on O.B.T. These gigantic signs promoting karaōke drew me and my friends in. However no karaōke existed in that place. when asking the server she just said oh yeah the sign is just there to be there, great answer now take the sign down guys. While we reviewed the menu we started to feel like we were cooking along with the tacos in the back. No a/c in 95 degree weather made me feel like I should of been on the menu too b/c I was cooked as well. This review survived by merely 2 stars only because I seen a pool table in the back that is accessible to customers. Yipee, pool tables with no cigarette smoke around in Orlando is a luxury. They also have jarritos(tangerine soda) which is mighty yummilicious and goes well with the huaraches here. The huaraches is a fried masa base with your choice of meat along with lettuce, tomatoes, pice, cheese, and sour cream. Those ingredients are pretty darn tastey mixed together. overall a pretty decent place for take out and playing pool. Maybe next time they will decide to buy some fans to draw in more customers.
