We are frequent visitors to Elixir. We generally start our weekend nights here, for a meal and because the staff is phenomenal, especially Mikey.
The atmosphere is very cool. A comfortable, classy looking bar. The food menu had improved drastically. The burgers are delicious as are the chicken sandwiches.
Back to the staff. We frequent establishments that have good staffs, and swear off establishments that don’t. We come back to Elixir because Mikey makes us feel like we’re a part of the family. He’s always very friendly, always remembers our preferences, and never disappoints.
Give Elixir a try, you won’t be sorry.

Fun place to meet up with friends after work, but they ran out of the beer they had for their happy hour special *really fast* so that was kind of a let down. Otherwise I’d say that it’s a big space, the back room has a pool table and more tables/​chairs for larger groups. The wait staff is attentive and even warned us that cars were being towed in the lot next door in case any of us had parked there. We went back on our way to a recent soccer game and had a big sports crowd all in game jerseys, it was fun.

I will never enter this establishment again. We were rudely approached by one of the owners and were TOLD not ASKED to move from our table, so the «lunch crowd» would have seating. We paid for our beers and left. I regret giving any money to this restaurant. Save your money. Go to Finnhenrys.

By definition, an elixir is a magical or medicinal potion which is able to prolong life indefinitely.
Each drink is concocted in a manner that not only accomplishes this but also leaves you begging for more (and more after that). The menu is from top to bottom some of the best food around town and continuously amazes me. There is not a single item that disappoints. I could go on for hours and hours about the masterful prep, the phenomenal staff, and the incredible atmosphere but sometimes it’s better to keep things short and sweet, so in closing, Elixir is one of the real hidden gems of downtown Orlando and is destined to become a true landmark and foodie destination for years to come.

This is an amazing Bar The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The lunch specials they have rival any five star seafood in Orlando Just incredible. Do yourself a favor and stop by Its a great sports bar with great food.

Great place for lunch and meeting new people. I really enjoyed their buffalo chicken wrap, which was seasoned perfectly. Very delicious. Definitely going back whenever I’m in downtown again.

Seriously – best customer service I have ever had in Orlando… it was a playoff nfl game and super busy… owner gathering a table and chairs to meet our needs… best friggin tater tots and the best Moscow Mule I have ever had!

I love this place! I have only ever been here for lunch, but everything I have had n the menu was delicious. It’s a very comfortable vibe, friendly waitstaff and easy parking. This would be a great place for an evening bite– I hope to find out soon.

Joke. Paid for admission to UFC fight. Got booted from my table after two fights because the table was bought by someone else. Refused a refund on my admission. Friendly staff. Bad management.

So, I have been going to Elixir for a few years now and prior to the last maybe 4 months, I really couldn’t give it a favorable rating. Now mind you, I do not go there for the bar atmosphere but merely a good lunch and what had been served to me was nothing to brag about.
Well, low and behold, they have a new chef and his lunch offerings have been awesome. He has been preparing lovely fish specials with roasted tomatoes, capers and cooked deliciously! I especially loved the trout and the salmon with the lemon garlic butter was fabulous. I have been visiting more often and am pleased to say, I love it.
Keep up the great work Chef and see you soon!

Very high class establishment. Staff is great, drink selection is phenomenal and the food is really really tasty. Great place to watch Orlando City and any other soccer games. Definitely Orlando’s Soccer bar.

I was actually very impressed with elixer. After reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting anything close to decent. But perhaps it is because we sat at teh bar. I caould see there being serious server issues with the size and layout of the place. It’s easier to ask for and receive what you want when the barterneder is standing two feet from you. the beer speicals were good and, while we didn’t eat, every dish that went by me smelled great. We will be back!

Food is no so bad for a bar. Pretty decent tater tots. The bar was really busy so we took a table by the pool table which by the way is to close to it so we had move a little farther away. My husband got his burger really fast but my sandwich took long time, later we found out that he got someone else’s food. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich which it was ok, a little too greasy for my taste. My husband ordered the elixir burger, good flavor but maybe needs a little more seasoning in the meat. The service sucks a little; the girl was nice but keep forgetting everything, she even thought we just walk in when we were leaving.

I was disappointed with this bar. They had live music but it was so loud you could not hear enough to hold conversations. The food was okay but service was slow. Strong drinks though which is nice. We ordered the tots and thai hot wings. They were good but wings were MUCH hotter than I anticipated (and I love spicy food).

I’ve visited Elixir before for lunch and returned today for the second time.
I enjoyed the shrimp po-​boy I ordered. The chipotle aioli was very tasty! I am more underwhelmed by their menu as a whole. I’m not quite sure what else I would order besides the mac and cheese. Yes there are sandwiches and burgers but none of them seem to have that must try now feel.
Elixir is good place for lunch as the prices are reasonable and the servers were extremely attentive. The food did come out quick.
But, the food was just okay– not bad, not great.

As a solo woman this bar was nice. No long haired greasy old men in the corner. Nice and clean. Cosmo was a little strong, but the bartender gave me extra cranberry juice.
I will come back.

Tasty food, especially for a bar. Mac & Cheese was very cheesy. Nice bartender & the owner stopped by the table to talk craft beers. Plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is on.
However, $ 7 each for craft drafts was too pricey for Bells Two Hearted and Goose Island 312. Never was charged that high on previous visits, shame on me for not asking price upon ordering. No draft menu with prices– hubby asked for a beer list/​menu upon seating. I’ll pass on a future visit.

Consistently good live band!
Music isn’t too loud to not enjoy your guests’ company but definitely need to lean in.
After a day of celebration, we closed out with dancing at Elixir. Can’t go wrong with a Corona, good music and TV screens showing CSI: NY!
Pretty good time!
