The food was very bad. The rice was like uncle Ben’s microwave rice tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. The plate was filled half with lettuce and no dressing. The food was very overpriced. They added an automatic 18 percent tip to our tab. Which we didn’t appreciate. We don’t recommend this place at all. Dont waist your money.

Food seemed to have come straight out of the microwave, portions were small and low quality. Food was overpriced. They charged us $ 14 gratitude fee for little service. Food was worth half the price they charged. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. No good. Thumb down.

A little hidden gem. I’ve never gone and seen it slammed with people, which is odd, but this place is pretty damn good. Their gyros, hummus and lentil soup bowls are great, and the service has always been good. The prices are also reasonable depending on what you’re getting. If you’re in the area, check this place out.

I love the food but why are the prices getting higher? Jerusalem(same owner) is cheaper than this place.

Great little mom and pop type Mediterranean food place in the marketplace shopping plaza. Having grown up in the area, I’ve seen the current store front change many times but since flame kabob came into its space, there have been no changes and for good reason. Great service and great food.

Overrated place for sure. Not only foods were mediocre, their service was also not pleasant. when we reached it was 9.30 pm and restaurant close time was 10 pm, but the lady at front desk told us they are quite closed(I don’t know the meaning of «quite close», to me either you are open or close), we asked her should we go back or come, then she told us to sit. we had falafel which was too much fried and very small pieces, we also had chicken shwarma and chicken shishee kabob platter. chicken shishee platter had mostly burnt pieces of chicken, shwarma chicken was dry also. and thing to be noted that they take gratuity for four people and more.

I was craving Mediterranean food after Universal Studios and this popped up on Unilocal since we are not from around this area. This place was easy to find and located on the corner building with a nice red tent on the patio. The design of the inside is very beautiful with lots of detail. It is very clean and organized. The restaurant is the type where they seat you and serve you from the table. There were lots of choices on the menu and the price was pretty decent. I ordered the gyro and was very happy with the price and portion. Probably my only complaint was the servers were always hidden and no background music inside. It was kind of awkward with the other party but overall I enjoyed the environment and the food.

Used to be good service. I’ve been coming here for years and recommending to others, but no more. Now the staff is not only incompetent but also rude. Most recently, when I called to inform them that they had not filled my to go order with the extra items I ordered, I was hung up on and when I called again to give them the benefit of the doubt, I was basically told that was too high an expectation. No apology, just snark and attitude. Stated another employee filled the order, so I asked well, didn’t you write my request on the order so that whoever filled it would know what was asked for? No, was the response. According to them it’s my job to double check all the contents before I walk out the door or else buyer beware, because it’s apparently not theirs to try to get it right.

Service was friendly. The hummus appetizer was delish! I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. It wasn’t what I expected at all. The bread was soggy and it lacked flavor. The garlic sauce had a consistency more like mayo and didn’t have that bold garlic flavor. My husband had the gyro which he said was ok. I will go back for hummus and to give this another shot. Maybe it was just an off day! Their dinner menu looked really good.

This was beyond excellent! From the kafta kabob to the hummus to the baklava & basbousa it was all fantastic. If you’re traveling to Orlando it’s a must try! The service was fast but everything was fresh including the deserts!

I am knocking on my head against the wall for not visiting this pleasurable restaurant before! I had been looking for reliable shawarmas and this is not only the place of the homemade shawarmas, it is also located at one of my favorite spots: Dr Phillips! Bonus: It is $ cheap! The restaurant inside needs some either some update or coziness but despite of the atmosphere, the servers that look like«sisters» are really sweet! I sat in a booth next to a window facing the parking lot, and immediately a small lizzard on the outside was joining me throught my entire meal! That was funny :-)!

Success. Wifey was craving a gyro and(since my old spot is closed now RIP Greek Flame) we came here. Pleased w the service and quality. We will come back. gyros were good. Comes hot wrapped in foil. Hummus was good. Comes w a side of olives too. *Noticed 3 different door stop delivery drivers picked up Togo orders. I have to look into that for when I’m lazy.

Woah. This place. Came here for dinner with my parents and my boyfriend and was definitely pleased. Plus, there’s a Unilocal check in offer for a free appetizer. Score! The décor is really nothing special. The tables aren’t really fancy or anything. For appetizers, we ordered falafel and hummus. The hummus was good but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. The Falafel was delicious though! The real treat was dinner. I ordered lamb kebabs, which came with a salad and a bed of scrumptious rice. The lamb was perfectly flavored and so incredibly tender. My Mom got the same thing as me, but my dad got a gyro platter. It too was tasty. My boyfriend got a combo platter, which had 3 types of kebabs, all were really well seasoned and tasted fantastic. Service was good. Our server seemed unsure of the menu though, because when we asked what she would recommend, she didn’t seem to have a good answer. The meal was a little over priced, but it was really good. I’d definitely go back.

Fresh and authentic Mediterranean spot in Dr. Phillips. Big portions, fresh ingredients and great lunch specials. The outside patio is also very comfortable and great for people watching. Try the vegetarian appetizer for a little bit of everything and don’t miss the kabobs.

So after visiting all our other favorite restaurants in Orlando this visit, we decided to go somewhere new. I was craving middle eastern/persian cuisine. Sure enough, I searched on Unilocal and found this. Thanks Unilocal for being the best search engine for food :) Flame kabob honored a free appetizer when we checked in, which was a nice touch. We got the hummus with little warm pieces of bread. I loved the bread, it was so fresh. For my entrée I got shish tawik with chicken. It was basically marinated chicken skewers with tomato, onion, peppers. It was very nice. The rice with bits of noodles were delicious. Their entrees are $ 15 – 20. I liked the quick and efficient service. We knew exactly want we wanted to order and the server assisted us right away when we were ready. I definitely would come here again when I’m in Orlando.~
