For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

If you can get a fast pass for this or the stand by time is 30 or less this is totally worth it! I’m not a big Frozen person but the «storytellers» are hilarious for adults. The kids get to sing along so they have a lot of fun too. Anna and Elsa show up for the show and the snow!

Do you wanna build snow man… do you want to have a great time with the fam.
This is one can’t miss if you or the little ones are a fan of frozen. This is a good use of a fast pass if you want to guarantee getting in and great seating. With several shows a day you should be able to get into one without the fast pass if you would like.
I was with my sisters little ones and all had a great time singing along to the sounds of Arendale… prob didn’t spell that correctly. Either way this was a really good show and really entertaining as the 2 historian could almost steal the show if had no interest in the Frozen sing a long. I would say this is a can’t miss for the frozen fan or those with little ones. It’s also a great way to rest and on a hot day come inside a cool down.

This was my favorite show. The kids loved it as well but actually liked beauty and the beast best. What made this show so much fun for adults is the comic routine by the pair of host
Story tellers. This man and woman should tour the comedy clubs. They were one of the funniest acts I have seen in along time. This show has some live parts, some sing slings and also some of the favorite clips from the movie.

This was fantastic! I am not a huge sing-​a-​long guy, but this was well done. The narrators were hilarious. I was laughing pretty much the whole time. They narrated the story and stopped and did some of the main songs. The crowd got into it, but it wasn’t crazy which I was good with. The ending was awesome and for my daughter she loved it. I won’t give it away, but it’s very cool. Definitely fast pass this show. If you liked the movie it will definitely be a fun watch.

Ok, I thought this would be less entertaining than it was, but the two historians were fantastic.
Fastpass this if you wish, but without it and getting there 20 min early, we still entered without too much of a problem. They had a lot of seats in the theaters and they didn’t seat on the wings. Nice and cool inside.
The lights, the «snow», actors, and more combined with lots and lots of adults and kids signing to each of the songs made this very much like an interactive version of the movie.
But seriously, love the jokes and puns from the historians. Now, not for everyone, some people may find it a little off-​putting the characters aren’t singing much but instead there are videos. But most kids came out raving about it, and adults were amused.

Cute, corny jokes for all. Great concept to have a sing along for the kids but did expect a bit more theatrics for the show. Overall a fun time.

Kind of reluctant to go and experience kids do the karaōke thing but I was quite impressed. Sure they do all the Frozen song that will be forever stuck in your brain but as an adult, the comedy was pure genius. Just go to see the two «historians» and you’ll be pleased. Their comedic timing was spot on. Some great insights into the story. Any if you have been living under a rock and don’t know what the movie is about, this is a great way to catch up.
Highly recommended!

If you love «Frozen» and love the music from The movie this is a great show to see. The hosts are silly but so funny. Lots of opportunities to sing along to all your favorite songs. No need for a fast pass since this show fits everyone in line.

My friend twisted my arm to make me see this with her. Ugh. I’ve seen Frozen and I liked the movie, don’t get me wrong, but I didn’t want to attend a movie summary and a sing-​along. If you have to ask, no, I didn’t end up singing along. I wasn’t feeling it as much as the kids were. However, I also enjoyed the narrators, especially when they were cracking themselves up. It was a good place to cool off in the hot afternoon.

An absentee child becomes a Frozen fan by the end of the show. Drove of Fastpass peeps. Bit chaotic.
PRE-​SHOW — plenty of ceiling fans to cool you down. The video teaches you about trolls generally and/​or from the show. :-(I wasn’t really listening. LOL
SHOW — 30 mins in a well AC venue. Comfy chairs. A bit more than the YouTube sing-​a-​long. Full song version. Moderator jokes and commentaries are for the adults. Anna says hello and joins Elsa in a familiar finale.

I expected so much more more from this show. There’s no point wasting a fast-​pass on it; there was nothing different about it than general standby waiting.
There’s no live performance of the songs — I guess I was thinking it would be like the Beauty and the Beast show. All of the songs are just clips directly from the movie with the lyrics on the screen. Anna and Elsa only show up briefly. I did, however, enjoy the narrators. They were pretty funny.

It’s great for the kids to watch and sing a long. If your not into the whole show sing a long then it’s a nice place to take a nap. Make sure to make it as a fast pass because it gets very crowded.

This was a cute little Sing-​Along show, which the five of us adults enjoyed — no kids needed!
I was afraid that they would do shorter versions of all the songs, but they did full versions of the more popular songs while going through the storyline. I don’t like that «Fixer Upper» song, so I’m glad that was axed!
It’s fun to see the kids singing along and even doing the hand motions to «Let It Go» — I thought it was too cute!

Sing a long karaōke style show. As others have said, the main characters do make limited appearances. It’s mainly the narrators and the audience.
It is a nice air conditioned theatre, which was a highlight to get out of the heat/​sun.
We enjoyed it, but didn’t love it.

We had a fast pass booked towards the end of the day but we were fading fast. We decided to try standby for an earlier show and I’m so glad we did. It’s a large theatre so going standby really shouldn’t be an issue.
Two Arandale historians take you through a summary (via sing-​along) of the movie Frozen. It’s again a cool, air conditioned theatre so a welcome break from the sun and if you’ve read my other Disney reviews you’ll know already what’s coming next. It’s cool, dark and was a great spot to breastfeed.
My 5 year old LOVED singing along to the «big» songs and seeing Anna, Elsa & Kristoff. The show ends with a reprise of Let it Go and snow falling on the audience – total must see for any Frozen fanatics and was the only time we saw Anna & Elsa over 2 weeks across 4 parks.

I expected more from this show! Mainly, more than 5 minutes with the main characters of Frozen!
I thought it was going to be a sing WITH Anna and Elsa, instead you are singing along to a Karaōke style movie with scenes from the film. Anna and Elsa only show up briefly at the end to sing Let it Go.

Please skip this crap. It’s a complete waste of time! I can’t believe the line for this sing-​along was so long. My wife and I are in love with the characters of Frozen and their catchy tunes but this show really dropped the ball. We expected a sing-​along performance similar to what Beauty and the Beast had on the other side of Hollywood Studios.
This Sing-​Along Celebration was more of a comedic standup sideshow from the two host. We thought it was going to be a full blown show with performers in Frozen get ups singing Frozen songs live as the audience sings along with them. Instead, we found ourselves watching musical scenes from the movie itself with karaōke lyrics. In between each musical scene, the host would begin a narration of the movie, make a few jokes until the next musical sequence appears on the big screen. It was LAME! For a sing-​along attraction, not many people in the audience were singing along. Some actually left before it was over.
After 20 plus minutes of watching scenes from Frozen, real life characters of Frozen appear on stage. Anna came out in the beginning of the show briefly. At the end, she reappears with Kristoff. Shortly after, Elsa makes her triumphant entrance with fog blasting from the ground up. As their final act, they sing «Let it Go» together even though we have already watched it digitally before in the show…
Verdict — Disney is clearly jumping on the Frozen bandwagon hard. I know it’s their product and their shoving it down everyone’s throat but this attraction was a hot mess from beginning to end. If it was a performing act by actual singers and performers in Frozen costumers from start to finish, it would of been a much better experience. For the first time in forever, I haven’t been this bored in Disney World.

This show is a must do! Since I personally don’t love Frozen… My son does so this was a must stop. We got in a line where they were giving out the fast pass for later shows. We were advised to arrive early. When we arrived we waited outside for about 30 or so minutes…
Once the show started you could see the excitement in all the kids eyes around you. Anna comes out and introduces you to the host basically…
The host go through the story of frozen, and are awesome!!! They are so funny! The made some jokes that the kids wouldn’t understand but great for the parents.
Each time a song came up it would show the words in the screen. It was cute seeing allllll the kids singing and standing and just expressing their love for the movie.
At the end Elsa joins in and you sing some more. Great show! I hope it stays for a while!

OMG… stop! A sanctioned sing-​along at Disney. This brought me back to those 1990s VHS tapes with the owl, Professor Ludwig von Drake, «Follow the bouncing baaaaaallll!» C’mon, some of you Unilocalsters know what I’m talking about!
This was so much fun, I can’t even tell you the whole of it. The show is maybe 30 – 45 minutes. You get two historians (aka narrators) who retell parts of the story with live visits from Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff. During the show, you are invited to sing along «as loud as you like» to the songs with the words on two screens. Songs include, in chronological (within the movie) order:
– Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
– For the First Time in Forever
– Love Is an Open Door
– In Summer
– Let It Go
– Let It Go (a reprise from the second chorus or so…)
Seriously, my grown sister, parents, and I had a blast singing along. My sister and I, who are no strangers to the show choir and musicals world, put it on full decibels! Anna and Kristoff are so adorable in the show, too! Loved the snow, BTW, as will your kids. Seriously, Disney needs to do more of these types of shows!
The downsides were:
– Screaming narrators. They were hilariously fun but screamed (like Disney Channel live action shows) a little too much for my taste.)
– No Sven, and very little Olaf at that.
– No «People Are Better Than Reindeers» or «Fixer Upper»
– Elsa who is played a little too kindly. She lacks the cleverness of the movie character.

Only through the rest of the 2014 summer can you see For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-​Along Celebration. So, if you’re visiting Hollywood Studios this summer, you really need to put this into your plans for the day!
Check the times map because there are various shows throughout the day. Unlike Beauty and The Beast, Festival of The Lion King, etc., you’ll need a ticket to get into this show.
So head over to Premier Theatre and get a ticket to come back for one of the show times. I definitely recommend you get there at least 45 minutes before the show to ensure you get a good seat.

During the show, two of Arendelle’s Royal Historians guide you along telling the story of Frozen. They are absolutely hilarious and will have you laughing out loud!
There’s a large screen behind the center stage and there are large screens set up on either side of the stage. Throughout the Royal Historian’s telling of the story, they will cut away to the most popular songs from the movie and display that part of the movie on the screens with the words to sing-​along… and everyone does. It’s so much fun. When they play Let It Go, everyone really gets into that song and the entire audience belts it out loudly!
The stage is decorated beautifully and there are special effects throughout the show. You most certainly will not get bored with this one. Even if you haven’t seen the movie, you’re sure to enjoy it.
I am a huge Elsa fan… c’mon… who doesn’t love a Queen who can make ice and snow?! Naturally my favourite part is when she comes out at the end for one more encore of Let It Go!
Again, as of September 1, 2014, this show will be gone, as will all of the Frozen Summer Fun at Hollywood Studios. Make sure to see this while you can. If you have little ones, it’s an absolute «must-​do.» I know I’ll be seeing it quite a few more times before the summer ends!
