I have used this company for many years and have always been delighted with their service. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors. HOWEVER – there has been a recent change in leadership in the past year and unfortunately the son is NOT the professional that the father has always been. They over-promised and under-delivered on a huge job – leaving a total mess behind them. They had no regard for how things looked when they were done. I can’t even get into my attic any more because they put ducts, boxes, and wires right in the entry. Yes, it all works, so I don’t give it 0 stars, but there are many companies that can install HVAC without the drama of Gary Munson Heating and AC Services.

We recently moved into a condo in East Orlando and were having issues with our A/C unit not running. I decided to call this company on a Saturday morning after the home warranty company our property manager sent out was unable to fix the issue on Wednesday. I was caught by surprise that Mr. Gary himself answered the phone(as opposed to an automated answering machine) and was able to get a technician, Steve, to our place within an hour and a half. Steve was very knowledgable and polite — he explained why we were experiencing this problem and even gave tips on how to maintain our A/C system for the remainder of our lease. I am so thankful for small companies like this who truly care about their customers!

Awesome service experience– even on holiday weekends! On Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend 2014, I called the number for service and left a message hoping to hear back on Tuesday — within ten minutes Gary himself called me back, asked what my A/C problem was, gave me a few tips on troubleshooting the problem(and possibly avoid a service call fee), and then asked that I call him back if I needed further assistance. Turns out a frog crawled into my system and shorted out the contacts for my compressor… I called Gary back, explained what I found and he said his on call tech(James) would call me and set up a time to come by(on Sunday). As promised, James called and was at our house within the hour. James was very professional and courteous, he replaced our contact relay and verified the system was good to go! We couldn’t be happier with a company that takes care of people so quickly– especially on a very hot, long holiday weekend!
