Great place to come play a few rounds of intense laser tag, different types of guns, vests, and variety of missions so each game is different to keep it interesting for 3 hrs of continuous play

Quite fun and exhilarating! You go on different missions, which they choose and you have a blast, You can chose from different fire weapons and strategically plan your mission. Only con is that they only have two rooms so sometimes you have to wait an eternity before your turn.

Came in on a Tuesday night with four friends. We had a great time. It was kind of slow and we mostly just competed with each other. This was fine since we planned on this anyway. They said they are more busy on the weekends but we liked it slower. They have a deal on groupon on right now for 6 combat missions and a one year membership for $ 25 for one or $ 45 for two. We bought the groupon and it was very worth it. You have to use all the missions at one time so you should plan to go with enough time to do all the missions. The girls were very friendly and they explained everything to us. We will be back for sure!

My roommate found this place a while ago and found out they have a Service Industry Night. It’s not a bad deal, for $ 25 you get unlimited play from 7−11pm.
They have two arenas, The Office, which is full of cubicles and filing cabinets. Depending on which side you take, you will be more successful.
The other arena is very random, it’s mostly large wooden boxes with some light boxes. There are definitely better sides there too.
Out of the two though, I would easily say The Office is my favorite. But, I think the best part of the whole experience is the variety of games. Every time you go into the arena, you have a new objective and even get to play with different team mates.

Went here with coworkers on vacation. They told us we could choose our missions and if we wanted to be in the warehouse or office, however after we bought our package they chose our mission and location for us and didn’t give us the option. On the other hand we had a great time. Little pricey tho. I would go back

We’ve returned to this location on multiple Thursdays for the hospitality night. First visit I was a little harsh on my judgement, but after becoming a regular. I absolutely love this place. The Regulators are very fun and easy going. They laugh with the patrons and patrol the playing field fairly.
My group and I can’t wait to return in February for our Thursday guys night. We went to the UCF location last night and they just don’t compare when it comes to employee attitude and customer service.

I shot the Sheriff and a large assortment of small screaming obnoxious children. If the sound of screaming kids with no discipline grates on your every fiber then Hard Knocks is the perfect place to get your revenge. Revel in the blood curdling screams of pre-​pubescent kids as you drink their tears of shame.
Hard Knocks is not your late 80’s «Laser Tag» this is the new generation of indoor warfare designed to somewhat challenge you. This is also one of the few places/​games where being an adult is going to help you annihilate those intolerable little children. Watch as the little lemmings run around like bees being smoked out of a hive as you sit back calmly in the dark and just pick them off as they blindly run right at you.
The indoor «courses» are well done and offer lots of great places to ruin a child’s (or adults) game. There are plenty of sight line options from well places cover and close quarters tactics are rewarded. The prices are fair and the amount of fun you have is based on how bad you want to win and how much you enjoy shooting other people with lights. There isn’t much in this world as satisfying as the Wilhelm Scream you hear when a pre-​teen lemming gets dropped.
While you are waiting between games you can check out the limited snack bar that has drinks and some simple snacks. They do serve adult beverages for those who feel compelled to imbibe before playing a game with children. For those of us who don’t need a crutch to have fun they also have soda, water, ice cream and random fare you would usually find at a roller rink or pool hall.
Do yourself a favor, get an annual pass so you can come back any time and use up any games you might not have been able to get in. This is a great place to blow so steam, get a little exercise and most importantly… get revenge on all those misbehaved screaming children you see around town.

Went here by accident, was supposed to go to wonderworks but they had a special event. So i found this place. It was actually very different than your regular laser tag. Weapons are realistic to real weapons and pretty fair prices for the missions you get to do. I did not like playing the predator mission as this is not really organized properly. Overall it was really fun and i wii do it again.

Went here on a whim and had the best time. The staff was bubbly and sweat (pretty also)! The concept was cool. Much more organiZed compared to the traditional laser tag free for all places I’ve been. The missions made it interesting and surprising. You never know what’s next. We did 3 rounds and it was plenty! By the end we were worn out and sweaty.
There are different gun options here. I preferred the regular pistol because if was easiest. The shotgun is reloaded after each shot which didn’t work for me with my poor memory. But it was really fun trying the different ones and running around. Definetly to with more than 2 other people. We went on a Tuesday during the day which is it was so slow but we still had a great time! Definite must go

Hooters Plus Laser Tag Equals… Disappointment
I had the opportunity to visit Hard Knocks, and I can say with certainty that I won’t be doing it again. It’s a terrible setup for laser tag, and the whole thing is badly conceived from the ground up, bordering on offensive.
The best thing I can say for it is that it’s technologically impressive. The lobby is slickly designed, with large LCD displays, feeds showing the active games in infrared and thermal, a countdown clock, frosted glass doors, and cool lighting effects. There are multiple weapon types, some with kickback. It’s clearly intended as a high-​end alternative, and it looks the part. The guns themselves are substantial. Military grade, in fact, which they never tire of telling you. You will hear the phrase «military grade» many times. It’s part of their concept: to simulate urban warfare. «This isn’t your father’s laser tag,» the chesty model in the orientation video will awkwardly read you off her cue cards, apparently having been told that people currently in their sixties played a lot of laser tag growing up. «No fog machines, no special effects, no UFOs.» In other words, few of the things that make indoor laser tag fun. Their determination to simulate actual killing extends to things like doors marked «KIA» (killed in action) for players to exit the arena.
When the time comes to start a game you’re led into the room with the gear by a «Regulator.» A Regulator’s job is ostensibly to act as referee, but more practically consists of wearing a tiny tank top and spandex shorts. The entire staff is young women, see, right from the check-​in desk. They’re always on the lookout for new Regulators, too, which you can tell from the giant pink sign on the wall that says things like, «Regulators: Be the bullet in the chamber,» «Regulators: Not all princesses wear dresses,» and «Regulators: Look at our butts!» All right, I made the last one up, but the first two are real.
I had hoped that I would be able to just ignore this stuff and enjoy the game. As cringe-​inducing as it all was, judging from the look of the lobby at least the laser tag itself must be well-​designed and intense, right? No.
There are three possible combat zones: office, warehouse, and Valhalla. Sounds great, but it’s actually just a single, large, one-​level room that they re-​dress as needed with either office cubicles and filing cabinets or big crates (I didn’t see Valhalla, but bearing in mind their concept it’s a safe bet that it isn’t as interesting as it sounds). There are no ramps or higher ground, no clever hiding places, and no holes through which to shoot. From what I saw, it felt as though very little thought had been put into the design. Perhaps the idea is that in a real office invasion you wouldn’t have such things, but, unlike your father’s laser tag, it makes for a frustrating, confusing, and dull experience.
In the gear room you’re equipped with a gun and vest which you take from one of the dozens of slots on the walls, each of which is labeled with a woman’s name, presumably to remind you that There Are Girls There and You Might See One. Tee-​hee, how titillating! What will I do if one of them talks to me? I’m so embarrassed! Anyway, you won’t be told how to reload your gun or how many hits you can take before being killed. Each gun has between one and three buttons on the side and it’s too dark to read the display — good luck!
The teams wear different colored vests so players can distinguish between teammates and enemies in the dark. You’re assigned either camouflage or olive green. Let me say that again: the colors they thought would be best for you to tell each other apart in a large, dark room are *camo* and *olive green.* Not, say, white and blue, no, it’s one color and the exact same color with brown spots on it. The vests look nearly identical even in the light of the gear room. I think there’s also a very dark red if it happens to be three-​team game. And because, they tell you proudly, friendly fire exists real combat, it’s also always switched on here, so you can accidentally hit and be hit by people on your team. As a result, you will immediately be eliminated by your own teammates, who will have had no idea which side you were on. To be fair, the gun barrels also light up different colors when fired, but that’s no help because by the time the light has flashed it’s already too late. The guns also may be overpowered, as I managed to be shot through a cubicle wall.
All in all, it’s a pretty terrible establishment. Even if you can get past, or aren’t bothered by, the concept and the attitude, the gameplay itself is awkward and seems to have been given only superficial attention. Unless heavy guns are something you’re really interested in there’s nothing to recommend it over other laser tag arenas and a number of ways in which it falls short. My advice: seek your laser-​based combat elsewhere.

The Hooters of Laser Tag
I hadn’t played laser tag in years, at least 7 or 8, but the other night on my friend’s birthday we came across this place after we were already a few beers deep.
We stumbled in and there was not a male employee in sight, only attractive young women who go by code names such as «Velocity». Needless to say, the 6 of us guys were all signed up for annual memberships within 5 minutes (~$ 33 for 4 games and reduced pricing moving forward). The required training video is littered with sexual innuendos and features yet another attractive young woman who was blessed with certain assets.
The actual game play… was fun but was lacking. The 2 courses (One is an office area with cubicles etc and the other is like an airport cargo bay) are pretty small and the games don’t last too long. There are different types of weapons (pistol, shotgun, smg, etc) and upgraded weapons available for purchase which none of us did. The different types of guns are a unique twist and they also have some unique game types. (zombie themed stuff, etc)
I don’t see myself going back although they do serve beer and drunk laser tag is fun every once in a blue moon. (They do serve beer but not blue moon)

I can’t speak for the cost of this place because I came here with my husband when he was a client of a company who took us out for entertainment. It was fun!
The staff is informative, and the «course» is fun. You can see how many lives you have on your gun and it’s useful. The games were a little short, but who am I to complain? Though the staff were informative, they took their jobs a little too seriously and came off as stuck up.
They had a bar, which was nice. The sales pitch at the end was annoying.
I hear they’re putting one in Seattle which is awesome, I’d definitely go sometime.
