It’s bar food, nothing really stood out. Service was attentive. Size of chocolate cake was laughable, don’t order it.

Meh, it’s a sports bar. It actually wasn’t as «sports bar-ish» as I had expected. Saw quite a few families having dinner at 10PM as it’s the last place open in the hotel for food that late at night. I had the greek chicken salad without the chicken, asking my waiter if he could give me a dollop of hummus instead. He was very accommodating and brought me a sizable portion of hummus. I had a chocolate cake to go, then changed it to key lime. My server brought my dessert to go and my salad out at the same time. Salad was pretty lame, but whatever. The hummus was pretty good. Mostly, I was extremely appreciative that the waiter deducted $ 6 for not having chicken. I was ready to pay $ 16 for the salad, with the hummus as the replacement. How very kind! I’m really surprised and shocked in a good way. For such a gesture, I tipped him generously. Though my server said he got the dessert changed, I ended up getting the chocolate cake anyway. Lol. Oh well. Bottom line: Fine spot to go watch«the game», if you’re into that, but don’t expect too much from the food.

Clean, nice décor, friendly sports bar with a great selection of tap beers. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waiter, David L., was friendly, informed about the menu, made suggestions in our choices too. For example, he suggested a half platter of the nachos appetizer — for three adults, he was so spot on. Also suggested we step out of our comfort zone with beer choices –again so glad he did. I see other reviews mention it was a bit spendy. Compared to the sports bar we go to near home, it is just slightly higher. But I would expect that in a resort hotel. It’s about the same as the Marriott near home. Considering we had a long day at the park and wanted a good beer and dinner, we couldn’t have made a better choice. It was very nice to chat briefly with David, he was knowledgeable about the current events at the parks! Thanks!

Avoid the steaks here. There are better choices on the hotel property than here. I paid $ 29 for a steak and fries. What I got was a «frankensteak» or artificially formed and presented as prime sirloin. It was full if sinew and the multidirectional grain throughout indicated it was not a real prime cut of meat. I expect this at a truck-stop serving steak and eggs for $ 9 bucks but certainly not what we paid. Other than that, the service was good for a typical sports bar.

3.5 Stars Prices are on the high side, but if you get past that, overall it’s a very nice sports bar at the Marriott. Food is a 4, but prices were considered in the ranking. If you are a beer drinker, High Velocity has a good variety with about 12 beers on tap(including Stone IPA, Magic Hat, Yuengling, Bass Pale Ale, Cigar City White, Funky Bhudda Floridian, PBR, etc.) and another 15 – 20 selections by the bottle. They can make cocktails and they have a limited wine selection. We ordered many dishes and I did not get to try them all. My favorites: Nachos($ 12) — A huge plate that you can share between 6 – 8 people. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Loads of chips, covered with melted real cheese(not sauce) and all your favorite toppings on top or on the side… salsa, guacamole, sour cream, olives, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions. Sea Salt Potato Chips with Three Onion Dip($ 6) — A generous amount of freshly fried chips, sprinkled with sea salt flakes, accompanied by a cup of creamy, chunky onion dip. Lots of finely chopped onions in every bite. The onion dip also works perfectly with fries. Buttermilk Chicken Tenders and Fries($ 15) — It’s listed as an appetizer but it’s a full meal in itself. It comes with honey mustard and BBQ sauce, I really liked the honey mustard. The chicken tenders had a light, flaky crust that gave way to juicy pieces of white meat. Other dishes: Burger and Cheese Sliders with Fries($ 14) — Comes with four burgers. They were good but seemed a little sparse on top as they only came with caramelized onions and melted cheddar cheese. If you prefer mini burgers over their full size offerings, these will do the trick. Buffalo Shrimp($ 15) — It comes with about 12 shrimp, but the shrimp are tiny! Dish flavor was okay. I would not order this again, just not enough food for the price. Pesto Turkey Burger with Fries($ 16) — Everything was ground together into a soft patty. It tasted fine, but nothing about it really stood out. My friend ordered this so I just had a taste. I did not try any of the full scale burgers but the regular burgers looked good. If you are just looking to have drinks and snack, the nachos and the sea salt potato chips are really good. Obviously food prices would be cheaper off the property, but if you are stuck onsite, it’s good place to get some food and watch the game at.

I was pleasantly surprised. We normally don’t go to restaurants not marked a 4 star by helpers but it was late and we didn’t want to leave hotel. We had the Greek salad, citrus salad, brisket sandwich, plus 2 kids meals. Mac and cheese and cheeseburger. The Mac and cheese was a very large serving and not the box kind. The kids meals came with a drink, sides etc. totally worth it! We are thinking of going back since we all liked our food. I would definitely recommend for a sports type restaurant.

The Good: bright and open. Beer selection on tap. The Bad: don’t open until 4pm on a Saturday! The Rest: Your traditional sports bar food selection but made better than the average place. Had chip & salsa with a Magic Hat #9.

For hotel bar and restaurant high velocity exceeded my expectations. I am vegan and have severe food allergies. I stayed at this resort for 4 days and every day this restaurant had a new meal for me to eat. The chef came out to greet me, he made sure that my order was right. The staff remember me from day to day including my allergy. The drinks I had were phenomenal. I am surprised that this resort can offer a variety of foods with my allergies in mind. The staff and chef here is wonderful!

Here’s the deal: if you’re the type of waiter that doesn’t write things down, we get stressed. We weren’t surprised or angry when three out of five dinners came out completely wrong. We were not only validated for being stressed, but will continue to be stressed on all future orders when nothing is being written down. If you can’t remember, there’s no shame in doing it old school! It was fine, everything got fixed, we tipped well as usual and off we went. Not the end of the world, but not a totally relaxing experience.

PROS: Greeted at front door. Place clean, and not crowded at all. Got sat immediately. CONS: Wayyyyyyyy over priced! Two orders of wings and a sandwich $ 68. The TV in my booth didn’t work, so I missed the game. Food came out, however it was cold before I could eat… I had to flag down server for napkin, silverware and ketchup.

Nice Sports Bar inside the Marriott. Did not have to wait for a seat and service was fast. Got 2 refills of pepsi as soon as I finished. Had beef brisket on a pretzel bun with fries and cole slaw for 24.50. Had a lot of big screen tvs and someone wanted to watch HDTV. in a Sports bar? LoL. Food was great and my bill was processed in less than a minute. Worth a visit.

This place is OVER. Over rated. Over priced. Over crowded. On the plus side is connected to the Marriott and they have alcohol. … which almost let’s you forget how much money and time you wasted teeing to eating here :-)

As Sports Bars go. it gets a good 4 Star Sports Bar Rating … Expanisve loud set up with booths tables, high tops and nice bar with very nice TV’s everywhere. Jorge was our waiter and he was on top of things all night. Drinks were not heavy pours and beer was NOTSUPER Cold out of the bottle not Jorge’s doing. Food was very good. Nachos Top Shelf add Chicken or Chili and ½ order reccomended unless your in a group. Brisket Sandwich was piping hot with carmelized onions nd fresh hot fries. Sliders good … Homemade Potaoe Chips with 3 Onion dip were Killer. Cheesecake was excellent. Downgrade for weak drink /semi cold beer and a Terrible wine by the glass list… Still if at this hotel I would definitely repeat if situation warranted.

Very marginal. Host claimed place was booked solid. We were told we could not be seated at the nicer partial booth. Nobody showed and at no time did the tables come close to full capacity. Food was mediocre; burger was very dry. Steak was very so-so. Price with tip for 2 adults and 2 kids was just over $ 100. Would have expected better from Marriott.

Stayed at the hotel we were planning to go out to dinner and traffic was at a stand still on main road outside hotel. We turned around and decided to eat at hotel. Great choice great service. Started with chips and onion dip. They had beer and cocktail specials very good deal. Had the Florida burger perfectly cooked also got half order of nachos and kids burger. All very good. Turned out to be a good meal and no stress of traffic. I recommend if staying at hotel

I only visited this place once during my stay, but I enjoyed it overall. I had a very nice waitress and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Good bar food and drinks. They have a good variety of beer on tap and many more bottled options. They have a margarita made with chili pepper that has a nice smokey kick to it. The margarita pizza has fresh basil and lots of cheese. The sea salt chips are served with a 3 onion dip which is a nice kick. Many of the booths have mini tvs at each booth so you can choose your own program. I counted at least 9 wall mounted tvs from where I was sitting. You will be able to see a tv no matter where you are. I knocked them down a star because the speakers were super loud despite it was middle of the afternoon and only ½ full. People were having to speak louder in their conversations because the speakers were so loud. I also took off for the sound did not match up with the tvs. The sound was at least 10 seconds ahead of the picture. I wasn’t watching any of the games so it did not bother me and since this was my only visit here I don’t know if this is a regular problem. My suggestion is if you are coming here to watch the game then check on this before you settle in. Overall, fun, relaxing atmosphere, good bar type food at reasonable prices considering it is in the hotel. I would have no hesitation coming here again.

Brisket sandwich bigger than my head, but bigger isn’t always better. Very greasy and hard to eat. Good place to grab a quick bite and a good beer during a conference.

I have been twice now. First I had the BBQ chicken sliders and felt like my mouth was on fire — which I can handle but couldn’t really taste the food. Then I had a blackened fish sandwich. It was overloaded with sauce so the bottom bun was too soggy to pick up. I just used a fork and knife. It tasted good, just hard to eat. The Angels game was on(in Florida) so that was a plus!

This might be the worst sports bar I have ever eaten at. Expensive, slow service, and the food is incredibly average. Even the kids meal mac n cheese was powdery tasting. The only thing earning it a 2nd star is that it looks pretty nice inside.
