Really tasty and flavorful salads! You build your own and add whatever you please. I also added the tzatziki yogurt sauce and the guac humus to my salad. All included. Really good quick lunch spot !

One of my new favorite places by UCF. I get something new every time I go but my favorite is the gyro pita that I customize. Their hummus is also very good with their highly addicting pita chips. Definitely recommend going if your looking for a filling fresh place.

So good, I come here all the time. The service is quick and friendly. The food is very fresh, and tasty. They definitely are not stingy with the amount of food they serve you. I wish they did deliver but the online app is easy to understand. I personally think it’s a better alternative of chipotle.

Hummus House is a popular place for a lot of people around the UCF area. I ordered the gyro pita. It was somewhat of a good size but I don’t think it was completely worth it. The taste overall was okay but not that great in my opinion. I would have given it three stars if I didn’t find a strand of hair in my food. I probably won’t be coming back here.

Was pleasantly surprised with the food. Atmosphere was«meh». Kinda pricy for what you get. Appeals to you younger crowed, I felt old. If your a 20 something give it a try.

Great food, great service, good value. This is my 3rd time now and I have to admit I’m hooked. I order and pay online then pull up in front and they run it out to me. It’s always as ordered and trust me when I say I’m picky. This is definitely my place for pitas, but everything they have is excellent! Only issue they have is parking, but it’s worth the hassle!!!

The place is just off of the main street in the back of the parking lot. Once we came in the server knew we have never been there and he was really nice and offered to help right away. Very friendly servers. They have either pre selected items or you can mix and match your own salad/pita/rice-bowl. Their veggies are fresh and very tasty. They have a wide variet of hummus too. The sizes of the dishes are more than good. The place is pretty inexpensive and you can either either there or take it out. 1 dish is around 7 – 8 $. Dont for get to check in — 1 free fountain drink with any pita purchase. I totally reccomend going — nice light food for afforadable price. I will deffinitel be back one day!

I visited Hummus House shortly after it opened a few years back and decided to give it another go last night. Luckily, I remembered exactly where it was — it’s a little hard to spot if you’re going east down University(it’s along the side of the Cold Stone building, towards the back). When we walked in, we were greeted by three workers who made recommendations, took our orders, and prepared our pitas(Hummus House is an assembly line/fast-casual/whatever fancy name they’re using now place). My wife ordered one of their house specialties, a Greek pita, which came with chicken, feta, olives, tomatoes, spinach, and the other usual suspects. I chose to make my own wrap with gyro meat, veggies, and feta. They also gave me some guac hummus on the side, which is exactly what it sounds like: delicious. We ordered falafel as an appetizer and it was spot on. My only complaint about the pitas was that they were not wrapped properly, causing all the ingredients to not be distributed properly — one bite of nothing but meat, followed by an all veggie and sauce bite. Other than that, it was a heck of a lot of food for the price and it was prepared quickly. I definitely want to give it another shot and will try creating my own rice bowl or salad to solve the ingredient distribution problem.

Very good! I had the Philly cheese pita with chipotle ranch and hummus. Wife had Chicken pita with Greek vinegrette, garlic hummus and fried caulifour. Both were great. Cost was reasonable, as the Pita’s are pretty big. We’ll definately be back.

Soo good! Just ate there for the first time and it was awesome. It’s a great alternative to chipotle, although they have alternatives for meat, fried falafel in my rice bowl was delicious! They have several hummus flavors to choose from along with their sauces. Chick peas were a nice touch to my bowl and the size was generous too. Will definitely be coming back for more delicious food!

Obtained a Groupon and headed in for lunch today. All and all not a bad spot. First time in and I tried the chicken Caesar pita and opted for garlic hummus and added some tomatoes. The pita was not as large as some of their competitor who shall remain nameless. But it was filling just the same. I felt like pita needed a bit more flavor and salt and pepper would have done the trick. I originally asked the homemade pita chips on the side. But after seeing the bag with the grease stains, I opted for baked lays. Lol. My pita did come with smashed pita chips inside and they were tasty. I say that to say if you are not watching your figure then order a side of them with some hummus! On my next visit… I think I would build my own pita or opt for the salad. From what I saw them fixing on to go orders, they looked pretty good. Customer service was good. A tiny bit pushy considering my first time and not customer behind me.

This is a place I pita-cularly enjoy! Got out of work and was famished! I wasn’t feeling like cooking but wasn’t feeling like greasy fast food either. Hummus house, you’ve done well. Friendly service, for sure. My roommate and I walked in as Hummus House first timers and weren’t really sure how the whole shindig worked and the workers immediately noticed and helped a homie out! Lots of choices, lots of fresh choices I might add, and the employees really didn’t seem to mind my asking their opinions.(Nice people DO exist!!) I ordered a build your own wrap and as I write this, I comfortably sit completely fortified by the said ordered wrap. Well marinated chicken, crunchy spinach, and super tasty hummus, all came together beautiful in this dinner time concoction! I am stuffed filled with good ingredients. Next time I’m there I fully intend to try to the falafel, I just wasn’t feeling edgy enough this time.

Hummus house offers fresh and flavorful food for a great value. They don’t skimp on hummus or toppings like other places. This is one of my favorite places.

I really enjoy eating here and am always pleased with my order here. Unfortunately I am stuck with my tradition of getting the same exact thing every time so I can’t really offer much advice on anything else. My go-to order is the Falafel wrap on a white pita with garlic hummus and taziki sauce. It is so delicious and fresh. I do wish they would add maybe one more patty of falafel but honestly it’s not a big deal. If you check in with Unilocal you get a free drink! Yay! Don’t forget :) Pita chips are pretty good but I often skip that because the wrap is a pretty good size so you get pretty full on that. I used to like the Avocado hummus but currently not a fan. Too much onion in that one.

Happened upon this spot while mapquesting«falafel near me»… I had a falafel salad while hubby had a falafel pita. Both were good, but my salad definitely had more«volume» and bang for the buck. Agree with previous posters about the staff being a little stingy with the toppings(I’ve been spoiled by Chipolte, clearly), but they were fresh and tasty. I’m glad that the gal made me verify that I wanted«all veggies» because that included pineapple(!!!) to which I am very allergic. Not sure why that’s on the line, but I’m glad I found out about so I knew to avoid. It was quiet on a Sunday; I’m sure it is busy during the week with UCF students. We will be back!

Awesome lunch spot! So glad I came across it! Stopped by around 12:45 and it was packed. But, most people cleared out by 1pm. We tried the falafel pita and gyro pita. Both were delicious. The place is really small so if you come during lunch, don’t expect a place to sit. And, parking is very limited. We circled around several times before a spot opened up.

Great place to try. If you don’t like hummus, you will after going here. We went to the university location and you really need to know where it’s located because its hidden on the side of a strip mall full of other places to eat. It is small but very clean when you walk in. The staff greets you when you come in which is nice. They are very hopeful in explaining the menu and how to order to the newbies. They had some very hopeful recommendations as to what to add to what. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. Join the club it’s worth it. My hubby and I took our daughter here when we were visiting her at college. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. We all have salads which had several toppings and dressing to choose from. Everything was very fresh. You also get a scoop of hummus with the salad and it was hard to choose from. I got the guac hummus which was unbelievably good. The hubby got the roasted pepper and the daughter got the garlic. All were tasty and we even bought some to take home. The bathrooms were clean and neat. The door to the kitchen was open which you could see into when you went to the bathroom and you could see just how clean everything looked. That is a good thing. We will for sure return to this location again. The only reason this is not a 5 is the location.

I’m a little late to finding out that I love hummus and this place is a great place to get my fix. I got the chicken Caesar wrap with roasted garlic hummus. You can try all their hummus before you choose which one you want, but being Italian I am good with roasted garlic. I’ll definitely go back and try some more of their flavors. Also their pita chips with a side of hummus was also really good, and it’s a great alternative to all the fast food places along University Blvd. I also got a free fountain drink with a check-in. Update: Their pita chips are addicting, so much so it bumped them from 4 to 5-stars.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is pretty good. That being said, the prices on the take out menu right by the register were different than what I was charged making it really overpriced in my opinion compared to my regular greek place on econ and 50 that I normally go to and will stick with from now on. Price was $ 6.99 for falafel sandwich and I was charged $ 7.99. Not cool… definitely lost my business even though I have a loyalties card.

Came here for a quick lunch. Got the lamb gyro pita and a side of falafels. The pita has my choice of lettuce, spinach, yogurt sauce, hummus, onions, tomatoes, and lamb slices. They do a good job of wrapping it neatly and you’re able to peel the paper and eat as you go. The gyro flavor is okay. I had much better. The side of falafels were very disappointing and the flavor did not taste like any falafel I ever had. Used a Unilocal deal for a free fountain drink. I won’t be back since there are other places to check out.

A huge staple in my college eats. Fast, clean and moderately priced for what they offer. When you order it’s essentially«chipotle style» and you either customize your own pita or salad. They also have preset menu items you can choose from as well. I love it because it’s so easy and quick, I can typically be in and out in 5 minutes. I definitely recommend the salad over the pita, it’s much more filling and I feel like it comes with a lot more food. My usual includes a huge bed of spinach and either the philly cheese steak or gyro meat. The chickpeas, fried cauliflower and tabbouleh are always excellent toppers for the salad. They definitely live up to the expectation of their name«Hummus House» too because the hummus is so delicious! My favorites are the chipotle and guacamole hummus. You can actually ask to sample them as well if you’d like. Overall, if you’re new to UCF and just want a quick fresh bite, definitely give Hummus House a try! Also, you can buy the hummus in large increments and take them home! It’s about $ 5 for a big size, and I definitely recommend it because it’s always made fresh :]

As wifey Lynette D. said, delicious, freshly prepared hummus. Get the GUAC. Decent price point for the amount of food you get. Lots of free toppings to add to your pita or salad. Weekly deals if you join email/text club. Definite must-try if you want something healthy and customizable and you’re in the UCF area.

My sister went to school at UCF and discovered this hidden gem when they first opened. She brought us home some hummus and chips once(all the way to Ft. Lauderdale) and we basically required her to do so every time she came home for the remainder of her college education in Orlando! Any of their hummus flavors are amazing but my personal favorite are the garlic and the guacamole flavors. Dare to be different! I love that they make heir own pita chips and the wraps are always fresh an super delicious. If you’re in the area looking for something healthy, fast, and fresh HH is a no-brainier. If you’re not in the area… go out of way to make the trip here! It’s well worth it! We have also dubbed HH, «Hummus Heaven»! :)

The Hummus House is tucked away next to the pole dance studio but a great find once you found it. It reminds me of Pita Pit but with more of a hipster/college feel to it. I love hummus so loved the variety of hummus that is sold. Tried the roasted red pepper with pita chips. The chips were too fried and crunchy for me so I decided to get a side of pita bread. The side of pita bread is the entire pita that your pita is wrapped in. I’m used too and like the thicker pita bread that is cut up in slices. The roasted red pepper was great. Not overbearing pepper flavor. I can’t wait to go and try the other flavors. I ate the Classic Gyro Pita. Loved it! You want to get the tzaziki sauce with the gyro instead of hummus. If you’re not too hungry it is big enough to share with someone. Everything was fresh to order. Can’t wait to go back and try the other menu items!
